((How's thrynn supposed to go to valkryossia when he's knocked out? XD))
Thrynn's head was pounding. . . He could hear someone telling him
"Go, Thrynn. Go to Valrkiosa, and find out what happened to Kirito. I'm counting on you."
(I literally have to go to school now, I woke up half an hour early for school.)
Return to Cradle (Roleplay. Apps accepted!)
Just as Trivoc was about pull the trigger on Axis, the elevator dropped down. Holding the 12 swarm infected knights, they charged. The knight proceeded to fire his remaining rounds at the knights, all of the bullets found their mark, but none were lethal. Axis took this opportunity to bite down on the knight with his new fangs, all his mouth got was a blast of pure elemental damage. Axis cursed in Morai profusely. "But how?" He then looked at the fallen queen, she delivered a grin at him. "Just my luck..." Axis thought to himself. He then slash out at the knight, he blocked but soon found the corrosive poison melting away at hisblade. "Hey! That was my best sword!" shouted the knight He continued slashing at Axis. "Tread careful around this one." "It managed to take out one of our most important servants." "This runt?" thought Axis But just as he said that the knight's blade found its mark, right in Axis' knee. "ARGH!" he hissed. But the corrosive qualities from his body, wrecked the blade badly. HE found it was time to get back to the battlefield. "This isn't over knight." axis hissed. "Running away?" Trivoc questioned with a grin on his face. "Not without some gifts." He commanded the rest of the swarm knights to attack. "We have Feron." the swarm said. "Greet him at the arcade." And like that Axis disappeared and made his way back to the arcade, his wounds slowly healing.
Jari:
Jari's heart pounded as he raced through Haven. What had happened to him? His eyes had turned pink and his voice had got so deep... He knew the swarm has evil but he didn't know it was that bad! Axis was infected to. Jari found a small section of the Lab to hole up in, and began creating a weapon. A weapon, to seal the Core once and for all. But then again, he had already created the ultimate fighting machine. Wirefury.
Feron:
Interesting... Feron thought, now thinking with the mind of the Swarm. His power had been maximised, extended to its limits. Power was surging through him like nothing before. When Vaelyn came over to him, he quickly reverted his appearance to the original. As she walked over to him, he quickly grabbed his Valiance and shot her in the leg. She stumbled downwards and brought up her Flourishes to defend herself but Feron smashed through the defence with his Leviathan blade and kept going, slicing through her cranium. Lifting up her limp body, Feron dumped it into the Clockworks. Two down, one to go, thought Feron, but getting to Barrus would be a problem.
((@Infernus-Dragneel: Do I mind if you use Gured? Heck, I'm *asking* you to use him! :D))
((@Liminori: I didn't know Thrynn was knocked out when Gwen got to him. He's recovered now. :P))
((@Unstable-Ordinance: I can't have Feron killing off NPCs yet. By the way, I'm thinking that he *is* responsible for the destruction of Jari's friends and family, but that's because *they* were evil mad scientists, too.))
As Theo stepped into the room, Gwen shouted, "GET DOWN!!" and darted in front of him, shield-blocking a Swarm bullet intended for him. The two of them darted behind a pile of crates. "What are you doing here, Theo? You could have died back there!"
Back in Spiral HQ...
((Overwrite invoked)) Feron flexed his muscles. He loved feeling STRONG! The Swarm was powerful, and the more minds it infected, the more intelligent it became. Vaelyn marched past him, saluting him as she went. Kill Vaelyn. Feron was about to draw his Leviathan, but he stopped himself. I will not! What is wrong with you? The Swarm cackled inside him. You are mine to control now. Kill her! He felt himself draw his sword against his will, and watched helplessly as his body attacked Vaelyn. She ducked his initial swings and rolled out of the way. "What's gotten into you, Feron!? Stop it!" Feron drew his Valiance and fired off a charged shot at her, which sent her smashing against the wall. She recovered just in time to avoid a charge attack from Feron's sword and kicked him in the legs, sending him sprawling. She grabbed her handcuffs and bound his hands and feet. "You, Lieutenant, are under arrest for aggravated assault and battery of a fellow officer." Once she hauled him to his feet, she noticed his Swarm eyes, and immediately let go of him in horror, letting him fall face down on the ground. "Ouch." Vaelyn nervously called security. "...Uh-uh security? W-we have a p-problem..."
Trivoc
All of the shots from his Peacemaker managed to hit the Swarm-infected captain, but he seemed to just shrug it off and moed closer and closer. The Morai was right next to Trivoc as the former attempted to bite him at the neck.
Trivoc felt a piercing pain when the teeth struck him. "Aaaargh!"He shouted as he shut his eyes in pain [This is it, he's infected me... Please don't let me hurt the others, especially not...]. The Morai suddenly retreated however, exclaiming in pain as well.
Trivoc opened his eyes and saw that his neck was emanating with Elemental energy. [What the heck...?] He thought, wondering where all that power suddenly came from. He didn't have time to comprehend the matter however, as the Morai captain had attacked him once more.
This time, the Knight pulled out his Cold Iron Vanquisher, and blocked the first attack. Their swords clashed against each other for a good long while, until the Vanquisher started melting from strange liquids coming from the Morai's blade. "Hey! That was my best sword!" He shouted. Trivoc proceeded to perform a flurry of attacks with his Vanquisher, eventually landing a hit on his knee and slightly damaging the Swarm Morai, despite the sword's weakened quality.
"This isn't over Knight!" The Swarm Morai hissed as he made a dash for the elevator. "Running away?" Trivoc asked, wondering where someone got the gall to taunt while retreating. "Not without some gifts." The Morai said. He then gestured to several Swarm Knights in the area, ordering them to attack Trivoc.
The Knight sheathed his Vanquisher (seeing as it was almost useless in its current state) and decided to use his Argent Peacemaker. He backed away while firing into the group of Knights that chased him. One of them got close, but he was taken down by an Elemental bullet to the eye. Trivoc reloaded and continued firing [9 magazines left] He counted mentally.
After thinning down the Swarm Knights a bit (and reducing himself to 6 magazines), he managed to get to the crates where Chappers was hiding behind. The Swarm Knights joined the ranks of the rest of The Swarm's minions as Trivoc and Chappers fired. "Pick your shots!" Trivoc ordered as they held their ground. Chappers wondered for a bit as to why Trivoc had a wound on his neck, more importantly, why it had a faint glow. But in the end, Chappers decided that fending off The Swarm was more important.
Their ammunition supply would not last long though. Trivoc only hoped that someone would come and help them before they got overrun. His sword was in bad shape, and he doubted Chappers would be able to do much with a Calibur.
((If you're wondering Kaijuhunter, yes. I did make Trivoc interested in Ikaros. You decide if you want to continue down that path as well
@Gzila below: Edited! XD
@Kaijuhunter below: Noted :) ))
(( @Azure: sorry to rain down on the raining down on of Trivoc's parade, but Ikaros isn't an android. I changed that before i started posting, courtesy of one of Thinslayer's suggestions. Ikaros is a normal Isoran.... Mostly. She's still half Valkyrie, remember that.
Edit: sure, we could do that. Could help brighten the gloomy and grim mood that this story is starting to have. ))
As I retreated with the vog cub, I started to become too badly wounded to keep caring for it, so I laide cub to the ground so it would not go off and get itself killed. I saw some knights closing in on two of them. Finding myself ill suited for combat, I looked in my backpack to see what I could use. Half a lute, a rocky core, some winter wishes from December, and... A defender! I rushed to defend my allies and entered a defensive stance. I yelled, "I can't fight, but what I can do is block! Run while you can, I'll hold them off. Don't worry about me though!" I rushed towards the knights, shield raised, and blocked their attacks. I was having a tough time adjusting back to combat, as each strike to my shield made my arm feel sore. When the knights got away, I dropped my shield and ran for my life. I saw Anubis wearing darker clothes than he was before. He was on his shield, offering me a hand. "Quick, grab my hand. I will get you out of this mess!". I grabbed his hand, and felt a striking pain. "AGH!". I dropped to my knees, and then fell to the ground, face first. 'Gah... This pain... Was I just... Betrayed? Is this pain the pain of betrayal or of physical pain?' I thought. I only managed to look up to see Anubis puking out more black gunk, which formed an exact clone of me. As the doppleganger went to join my allies, the hostile knights closed the distance on me. I could only geuss that the knights wanted to capture me. 'I hope they take me rather than kill me D:'. ((Hint hint, this is where somebody captures or saves me))
((GENERIC DARK CHARACTER APP :D))
Faction: Swarm
Name: Dark Archemiday
Gender: male
Appearance: Medium height, blue personal color
Arsenal: Dusker set, lute, shadow brandish
Bio: A dark minion created by dark anubis. He makes a great doppleganger due to the fact Archemiday is a great actor. His plan is to get into the group and kill everyone once he has their trust
Ai'Kros (or Lelouch, take your pick)
Like i said, i thought i could intimidate the enemies. Key word there being thought. I had neglected the fact that the extreme heat that which i radiated was good for reptiles like Chromalisks, and therefore negated my muscle-paralyzing powers. I felt the teeth of a Coid Chromalisk sink its fangs into my bushy tail. I roared in pain, but before i could teach the ignorant fool a painful lesson, the Battle Srite rushed in and brutally murdered the thing. Thankfully. I didn't think i could stand any longer, and i felt my body shrinking back into that of a puny Wolver pup. I lied down and inspected my wound. I yipped in displeasure after noticing that it oozed with black Swarm. Good thing the Chromalisk hadn't gone for my head, otherwise the poison would surge through my body much quicker. My kind, the Vogs, were above the tricks of the Swarm; the adults of my species were completely to most attacks. Like i said, the adults were immune. Not the undeveloped cubs like myself. I had resistance towards the poison, but if i didn't get to a purifying spring such as the one in the Sanctuary within 48, i would be doomed to serve the Swarm. I could already feel the poison pulsating through my tail and decided to slow down the process. I sent what little fire energy i could spare towards it and felt as a sensation of relief rolled throughout my tail. The fire expunged a small amount of blood, taking some of the Swarm's essence with it, but it wasn't much. I lied down, noticing the faint glow of fire -probably from the Sprite- surrounding me. With that reminder of my home, i felt peaceful.
Then i slept.
--------
Kirito
I felt a slight stab of pain as Thrynn managed to open a small cut on my throat. Of course, he neglected the fact that, since the Vog was taken down, i was no longer paralyzed. I suddenly felt my muscles functioning once more and lunged forward, intent on ripping his wings off, but the Sprite was too fast, darting above me. I snarled as he hovered in the air, sticking out his tongue, then returned my attention to the Isorans. I spotted Valkyrie with pink hair flying away, but dismissed it as cowardice. I felt dark power surge through me as i prepared to unleash Black Death's power, building up to the point where i could barely keep it under control anymore. I slammed my blade into the ground, causing a slight tremor, and watched as an enormous wave of Plague energy ripped through the floor, narrowly missing the guardian knight. Growling at the sight of the Swarm's infecting of everything they could, i thought, [That's no way for their sentient lives to end. I may have killed many people, but at least i gave them a fighting chance, and i ended their suffering swiftly. This posession... It's disgusting.] I shook my head at these thoughts. How could I even THINK something so soft and weak?
Could this be... What emotions are like?
-------
Ikaros
I felt useless. I was so stunned by the Wolver's transformation that i could barely move. I was called back to my senses, not when the poor Vog cub was downed, not by Gwen's defeat by the Fallen King Valkyrie, not wven when i heard Trivoc screaming in agony. Nope, it was Gwen's voice that recalled me to the present. "Ikaros, i must ask of you a great favor. Will you return to the Skylark for me and find a written order commanding that Jari's relatives be destroyed? I do not believe such a document exists, but if it does, will you return to me and tell me who its author was? Feron's life may depend on your swiftness."
I nodded solemnly. In truth, i accepted mostly because my wings still had not gotten proper exercise, but who cares? If i get to save someone's life in the process, how could i refuse a chance to stretch out my wings? I felt as my wings grew to their full size, ((if you don't know or have forgotten, each one is five feet long)) and unfolded them. They flared open, sending a small breeze throughout the chamber, and i took off.
About an hour later, [Ugh, my flying has gotten shabby, i need to exercise more] i reached the Skylark. Entering through one of the bay doors, i proceeded to the Archives where all the higher-ups' -like myself- orders were stored. I myself didnt go there often, since i prefered not to boss my troops around like a cranky Vanaduke. I scanned my Vanguard Crest on the access pad and watched as the doors swung open slowly and dramatically. I was surrounded by an entire library of orders, some dating nearly forty years ago. Luckily, the place was organized by the dates on which the orders were given, and since i had heard about the banishment of Jari Steeclaw, i had narrowed it down to a few weeks' both before and after he was expunged. I gasped and covered my mouth after finding the exact article Gwen had asked me to find. The letters at the bottom detailing the author's name were faded, but not naturally. It was as if the author didn't WANT people to know he/she had given the order. Quickly, i stuffed the article into my backpack and exited the bay doors of the Skylark, flapping as fast as i could.
Gwen had to see this. Now.

((@kaiju I actually wrote earlier that I had grabbed the wolver (vog) cub. Do you want me to edit my story or you to edit yours? I wouldn't mind deleting that part."))
(( @Arch; dont worry thats ok. We can mix them together. The vog cub fell asleep, right? That's when Arch picked him up, and then the events in your post occurred. No need to change anything ))
((I did write in that he clawed a little at me. Should I erase that or blame it on it moving while sleeping ))
((@thin if kirito grabbed me, he could probably throw me across a football field. Archemiday is a fragile person.))
(( @post 391; Erm, thin. Ikaros is kinda shy. As for the fact that she hasnt been fighting recently ....that'll be taken care of soon.
@Arch: yeah, just blame the scratch on Ai'Kros moving in his sleep. I see no reason for you to have to change your post. ))
((@kuiji and azure. If your going to have a relationship, I can play music. Assuming I don't die, I can activate cheesy mode and play romantic songs in the middle of one of your guys moments :3))
"Excuse me, Where can I meet some of the elderly here? I wish to know what brought about the fall of Kirito, a fallen Valkeryie."
The Valkyrie Assistant was in fact, suprised to see that the person who said this was, a Battle Sprite. {Hmm, maybe I'll take him to Old Khen. . .}
D. Archemiday:
As I walked towards the fools friends, I acted as the man who's form I was would act. "Hey guys, look what I found!". I said as I withdrew my shadow brandish.
Archemiday:
I still couldn't recover myself from the pain I felt. As I lay on the floor, I looked at Anubis ((Dark)) and asked him, "...why? Why would you do this to me? I thought.. We were friends...". I couldn't do anything more. If I had done anything else I would faint.
*Anubis lays on the ground staring at the ceiling. "Just come get me," he whispers. He instantly falls into a deep sleep. A dark, winged figure materializes out of no where, picking up Anubis, and sending him down to the great burning Almire to release a fire unto the Swarm...*
((I mean the fact that you ignored your wounds from Anubis pushing you through 3 walls. Seriously, it's starting to lose meaning to roleplay for me now. For serious.))
(( since Kirito's my character, let me give you the reason and story of how he was banished.
Kirito was one of the Council's finest warriors, and whenever evil struck, he honorably charged into battle to protect the Valkyries. He was regarded as a role model and was looked up to by his fellow Valkyries. But after centuries of battle, his heart began to turn to ice. He became a cruel leader, and punished any who defied him. His methods of "fixing" the Valkyries' enemies were so harsh and gruesome that his former reputation as a kind soul was permanently tarnished. He became grumpy and was infuriated whenever the Council denied one of his proposals. He showed signs of rebellion, and he would have rebelled. Luckily, the Council had already anticipated this and plotted to turn him into a Fallen One. Gwenyvier, the Queen of the Council, didn't know how they would deal with Kirito, but the other members plotted behind her back. At his full strength, the Council feared Kirito had a chance of beating them in a fight. Like i said, at his full strength. While Kirito slept, one of the Council's members poisoned him, rendering him incapable of anything but basic movements; he would be defenseless in a fight.
The next day, the Council called a meeting. Gwen saw how weak Kirito looked, but she didn't question how he became so. She only knew that this was the perfect oppurtunity. In his weakened state, Kirito was helpless and could only watch as the Council stripped him of his powers and transformed him into one of the very things he had protected his kind against: the Fallen Valkyries. He was banished, and nearly a hundred years later, he joined the Morai, quickly rising in their ranks. Kirito vowed vengeance against every single member of the Valkyrian Council, but he also vowed to do it honorably, which shows that he still had traces of his valor. Kirito would face each and every single one of the Council in single combat, and strike them down in a fair manner. He would paint entire planets red with their blood, but not before engaging in a fair duel. He prided himself on this, and promised he would never break this vow.
It still didn't change the fact that he would do anything to wipe out the Valkyries he had once fought so hard to protect. ))
Archemiday:
I must survive. I need to alert my allies that there is a doppleganger... I must do the only thing I can do. Shout. "Help! Please, anyone! I beg anyone that can hear me to help! Anubis! If you can hear me, please come and... Help...". And with that, I fainted.
((Due to injuries inflicted on him by Anubis, Kirito must walk with a limp. Story-wise, this means he cannot dodge anything faster than a flourish, blaster bolt, or Shard bomb. He may dodge anything slower. Similarly, I recall Anubis putting a curse on him. That means Kirito will always take significant damage when attacking, and hence should not do so until the effect wears off. He may use minor telekinetic powers. You are required to take these effects into account.))
((@Seatus, I apologize for not being a better mod on these issues.))
((Archemiday, Cue the dramatic music!)) (Dun Dun Dun. . . )
Dagoon climbed out of the precariously placed hole that still had yet to be buried. Dagoon read the stone that lay near the hole.

((Just for story's sake I'll just say it was Archemiday.))
((As much as I'd love to cue the music, I fainted, have several swarm knights chasing me, and have a broken lute. Someone help :c))
Thrynn sat in his shack with his wings either side of him, fiddling with bits of blade and string. . .
Weapon App! Dangerous Note Bringer:
It's a lute, with the base replaced by a deadly blade, with straps so It can be used as a shield.
Thrynn walked up to the nearest Knight Valkyrie. "I will need you to give this to Archemiday, who as far as I know is in pain.
Give this to him and assist him to the best of your capabilities."
(( Vog forbid he gives it to D. Arch, my swarm doppleganger. A swordlute, my favorite weapon :D))
I started to wake up from my painful sleep. I could barely open my eyes as I was still paralyzed in pain. When I opened my eyes partially ibsaw a man in armor holding something. I said, "Sorry if your here to hurt me. Somebody already-" I held my stomach in pain. "Ate that pie."
((Who controls the Valkyrie, me or Lim?))
((I think that thin should take over for npc's, but if needed for story, Players can use NPC's.))

((@Liminori: flute accepted. @Archimeday: you may now use the flute. You may make it *temporarily* raise the dead, but please use that sparingly.))
((We have too many characters running around here, and it is hard for external readers (like my little sis) to read and enjoy it. So I will reject the app unless you have a very well-defined purpose for her existence. You may alternatively modify your existing character.))
((Thrynn knows Archimiday from when he was paying respescts to the "Dead" Body (Dagoon) Archimiday found somehow.))
((@thin alright then thin. Also, we have a Valkyrie npc coming to help me. I assume you will take the role to command it, or will someone else?))
((Hai thins sister!))
((gnight all))
((Thin, I hope your sister either pities me or ignores my posts XD!!!))
*gives her a Chromalisk tied with a bow*
((Can you link me to the comment where this Valkyrie was introduced, or to the circumstances that made it necessary?))
(( hello, thins sister! *Ikaros gives hug*
Oh, by the way thin. Can u please look at comment 422? I think it sufficiently explains why Kirito called the council "dishonorable" and why Gwen didn't know his reason for doing so. ))
((The Valkyrie was called for at the same post as the Sword/Lute was made, He has been given the task of giving it to Archimiday and to help him as well.)) Thrynn got up from the slab he was sitting on, and started his long trek back to Gwen. Thrynn focused with all of his energy, far, far away, to try to find Archemiday's mind. "Whew. Alright, My name is Thrynn, and I've sent help and items your way. If you can't hear this well, that's because I'm telling this to you about 45700 feet away.
(Who else thinks we need more story from Ikaros about now?)
(( consider this post to be set AFTER the Morai/Isoran skirmish in the warehouse is over; after all, it took Ikaros 3 hours to fly to and from the Skylark anyway, so there's a considerable time frame right there.))
Ikaros
I'm sorry to say that my landing was not as majestic as i planned it to be. Actually, thats an understatement. I had PLANNED to float down gracefully towards the warehouse where Gwen and the others were, but it went more like this; hitting my head on some poor snipe, crashing into a sleeping Lumber, [They REALLY look like trees when theyre still] and finally falling butt-first onto the cold tile floor. Dont blame me. My wings hadn't had proper exercise in nearly 3 weeks, i had to fly for three hourse STRAIGHT, and i also had to haul the forty -yes, forty- page long document Gwen had requested. Trivoc was still nursing a nasty-looking bite wound, but he had the courage to say, "Nice to see you too." I managed to choke out -i was extremely short of breath- "Shut- Snipe- hole." Trivoc laughed, and i turned to Gwen. I tiredly handed her the document, "Read. Now." then promptly collapsed from exhaustion.
I sighed. "Never send me on errands again."

((Edit; you were saying, Lim?))
(Anubis)
I walk towards Vanaduke, sitting on a chair of pure fire. "Anubis, it's been a long time, eh?" he calls, "Yes it has, Vanaduke. Tell me, do you have any of what's left of the fire you brought from the mountains? I need it for...something" his mask is suddenly more imposing, and he stands up and grabs his mace. In the delusion of his dream he calls out, "Anubis, you would dare take my treasure?! Why?! I thought we were friends! Buddies! Why would you dare think of taking my beloved treasure? YOU WILL PAY!" and with that, he shoots out flames.
Tears fall from my eyes, remembering that fateful day, in another's lifetime. I remember coming here, but I can't remember why. "I am sorry, Vanaduke. I am sorry, Almire." I wave my Gran Faust into scythe mode and cast Vanaduke against the wall. His mass shakes the foundations. I can't help but grin in complete bloodlust as I uncontrollably go into Execution Mode. I hit my scythe in the ground, and a chasm appears and devours Vanaduke before it dematerializes once more.
I need to hurry. The Core will soon repair his vessel. I blow open a wall in the back of the room, and find an evil red glowing inside. I go to the fire, and see it is slightly tainted by hatred. No matter, it will kill the excess Swarm all the same. I take the Everflame in my hands and place it under my hat. Turning, I head towards the elevator, and ascend back to the depth of Gwen.
I walk into the room, and place the Everflame onto a crate and look at Gwen. "You have to unleash this fire. I can't, for.....reasons..."
Object App: Teleportation Shrine (Deposit 1000 Crowns into the shrine and decide where to teleport) ((It costs another thousand for every 1000 feet.))
Thankfully there was one in the city and another nearby Gwen and the group. A simple turn of a few corners, and he was with the rest of the group.
"Never send me on errands." "Uh. . . Ikaros, where did you just come from? I'm sure there was a teleportation shrine somewhere there, but oh well."
"So, What now?" Do we get someone to show these to a strong knight or something?"
but are you guys to far into the story to let others join?
((@Awesome-Incarnate: would you like to join my experiment instead? It's called "Collaborative Fiction Roleplay Experiment," and it explores a few new ways to roleplay. Once I've determined that they work for a simple story, I may implement them in a more sweeping epic. Interested?))
((@everyone: I think the reason why we have so many characters is because some of us have applied for more than one. I, for instance, handle all NPCs. Kaijuhunter has 2 characters, and Liminori has 2. Seatus has mostly stuck to one. Azure-Orbit is using 2, or 3 if we count Arkus. I may have to create a limit on characters per person in the future.))
For the @me: Sure! Sounds cool. I'll try to get the bio(s maybe) done tonight.
For the @ everyone: I think everyone should be able to make 2 personal characters and chose 1 NPC.
((Simple, Why don't we allow people who are passing by to use our increasing amount of NPC's?))
@Awesome-Incarnate ((How about you use the Valkyrie-Knight for now, while you think of a good character for yourself.))
((Hey Thin, you won't mind if I use Gured?))
Theo stopped as he heard the painful screech of the familiar voice, the voice of the one who had showed him how blind he was to her.
"Gwen..." Theo mumbled, he gritted his teeth and continued walking, trying to ignore the painful scream.
Cleo giggled as she stood in front of the training hall, she waved her hands at Theo, "C'mon...! Let's not waste time...!"
"Yes... let's no-" Theo suddenly felt something strange, he quickly turned his back to see Gwen darting towards the arcade.
Thanatos grinned and patted Theo's shoulder with his bloody hands, "C"mon partner, she's no longer important to you!" he laughed and dragged the poor Morai who he had captured earlier and planned to eat. Thanatos grinned at the shivering Morai and ripped his other arm, the Morai shrieked in pain and he tumbled down the stairs."Gee, what are you waiting for Theo? Let's hurry!"
"I...." Theo sighed and shook his head, "You're right, she's no longer important to me...." he chuckled slightly and grabbed the Morai by his collar and dragged him inside the training hall.
"Hey.... Theo... Who is this... She.... you're talking about...? Is... it... me..?" Cleo frowned as she looked at Theo.
"N-no... it has nothing to do with you at all.... Well...." Theo groaned and paused, then continued. "You see... She was err.... the person I... l-l....loved.... but she left me.... and.... showed no love for me at all..."
"Have you ever.... felt being... alone for ever? with nobody you can love?" Cleo spoke to Theo, this time in a serious voice which surprised him a bit. "You were lucky.... that you actually had someone to love.... Enjoy every moment you have with that person... even if it's bitter and painful... Because one day that person will go away from your life... forever..."
Theo stared in disbelief, everything Cleo said was true, he still loved Gwen until now.
"D-diversion... Cleo, you stay here with the Morai and stay safe, me and Thanatos have to... er... check some stuff out..." Theo sighed and closed the door of the training hall. "Let's not waste time Thanatos..."
"Heh, took you quite a while to finally make yourself a decision..."
______________
"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" the Morai shrieked in pain as he spat on Cleo's cheek, she had been trying to tend the wounds of the severely injured Morai. "TRAITOR! BASTARD! YOU HELPED THOSE KNIGHTS!"
"I.... Theo... saved me..." Cleo frowned as she dropped the antiseptic to the floor, "Those knights.... they are... nice people... why.... kill them?"
Cleo suddenly heard knocking on the door, she fell into an instant shock as she heard the voice of the person who knocked on the door.
"IS ANYONE IN HERE?!"
the voice belonged to Gured.
_____________
As the two knights floated in darkness, Theo found the urge to finally start a conversation after staying in darkness for hours and hours until he lost count of time.
"Do you think.... what I'm doing now is right?"
"What do you mean Theo?"
"I meant.... I don't know why I'm doing this..."
"Explain to me why you think I kept on cleansing Cradle."
"Because.... You wanted to fulfill your duty as the Arbiter of Death..."
"Anything else?"
"Err.... I don't... know..."

"...Tell me, do you think she will accept me?"
"Hah, I'm not here to address you that crucial information, anyhow, it seems our ride have finally reached it's destination..."
And the two finally saw light at the end of the void, where it may lead to wherever Gwen is.
