"And why the heck are you a demon? I thought demons were supposed to be in Hell." I point to the ground, only drive my finger a little into the ground.(My character will use the Flaming Lens of Truth shown here for whenever he thinks someone is very, very suspicious. He only used it on the Demon Merchant because he thought the demon merchant was EXTREMELY suspicious. Just wanted to let you know.)

"Whoa, wait a minute, hold on." Tency took a look at the merchant. "Huuuuuh. Wellll then. I guess that overly convenient plot devi- uhh, LENS has a good case... you DO have something of a fiendish look about you. Plus you're standing in lava, which would fit, since, y'know, hell, lava, burning inferno, this guy would be kinda used to it."
"Soooo. Let me guess, you're about to tempt me with some overpowered item that makes my face explode when I use it too much. Oh, wait! Or you suck out people's life force and use it to power your items... or maybe this is one of THOSE stories, and you're the protagonist. Or maybe this is one of THOOOSE stories, and you're a... love interest..." Tency grimaced. "Yeah, let's make sure it's NOT one of THOSE stories and-"
Tency pauses for a moment to look at the lava. "Hey, Ailill? This lava is getting a LITTLE close, so I'm going to head on out of here." Then she turned and winked at Zekrua. "And, thanks for the concern, but if things were serious, I could cause a little Lag on lava as well."
Then Tency goes off on her way, toward... whatever terrain was in the direction she was going. Hopefully there wasn't a swamp...

Soteka rolled out of the way as Obakun crashed into the spot he was previously. As he looked up, however, Soteka nearly saw too late the Super Ball coming straight at him and barely warped out of the way, this time having noticeably less strain.
"Kefka! One on one, you crazy clown... wizard... thing!" (*Technically a Knight- Oh hey, broken 4th wall*) "Whatever! Flame Thunderbolt!" Mekito swiped his arm in front of him, sending a bolt of lightning that was on fire arcing towards Kefka.
Vortak lessened his assault as he quickly closed the distance between him and the Jetpack Squadron.
Obakun suddenly zoomed towards Soteka, blade outstretched to cleave him in half. Soteka raises his blade to stop him, which, unlike his outfit, has remained the same. "Obakun! Why must we always fight?"
"Are you joking?!" Obakun lashed out with a kick that sent Soteka flying. In the air, "We're light and darkness!" Obakun slashed downwards, a heavy blow that Soteka parried with equal strength. "Opposites destined for conflict against each other!"
"Or to live in harmony!" Soteka brought his blade against Obakun's again before back flipping away from a Shadow Claw. "We don't have to fight, we can just end the-"
"Enough!" Obakun drop-kicked Soteka in the blade, forcing him back a few feet. "I'm not gonna have you of all people try to convince me into ending the war!" Obakun began relentlessly slamming his blade against Soteka's, refusing to allow him a chance to recover. His voice was practically oozing venom. "Not after you yourself told me that you didn't want it to end!" His eyes turned a deep blue. "Not after the whole sh*t with the D-Men and Afikazer!" A black haze began seeping from them as well. "You heard it yourself from Balance And Chaos! Light and Dark are Never meant to live in peace with one another!"
Shadow Energy was drawn into Obakun as he reared his blade one last time. "Dark Prominence!" Obakun swung in a wide arc, unleashing several massive explosions of darkness where Soteka once stood.
--Mount Nargabar, Peak--
"Like I would tell the likes of you my motives." Torghast looked around the mountain top. "This is where you said, right?" Torghast held his blade forward in a stance adopted from Japanese warriors during the Feudal Era. His eyes turned almost cyan in color as shadows seeped from them, not unlike what happened with Obakun. "You're the host;" he grinned, baring sharp fangs, "your move."
--Kurduhm, Capitol Building Exterior--
The Shadow clones began examining their weapons, primarily Shan, Shecilia, and Shelen. They didn't need to examine the bodies themselves, as they don't share the same restrictions or advantages (except Shick, for reasons).
Shan, in particular, was testing out the steam pack it copied. Almost unexpectedly, it propelled straight at Dan, sliding on its feet and shovel outstretched. At this, Shick shot a portal between them and one at the wall behind Dan before shooting a rocket towards Rick. Shadan stopped and jumped shovel-first into the portal and towards Dan yet again.
Shamy shot a bullet each at Amy and Cecilia before run-jumping at Amy, foot forward. Shecilia, try as it might, and quite possibly could be seen by Cecilia, was unable to use the Blink Drive. Instead it resorted to quickly shifting as shadow sludge in a zigzag pattern, coming up and firing at Cecilia at each shift-turn.
Shelen unloaded the Combat Coil directly at Helen, black lightning arcing wildly towards her as opposed to the more straight bolt of Helen's coil. Shalton strolled towards its template, stared at Walton, and took a brawler stance.
The Earth Beast started spinning around, axe held out, and moved towards Turbo and Akuma. "What the-" Akuma stomped, a stone wall rising between them and the Beast as said Beast rammed continuously against it.
"Akuma, hold u-" Before Shiki could finish, a loud, heavily distorted roar came from the Shadow-Heavy's remains. There stood a large creature sharing only the Heavy's likeness. The Minigun had infused completely with the firing arm, turning into more of a cannon that an actual minigun. The free hand had turned into a large grabber with three claw-like fingers. There was no visible armor, what was left having been torn off by the pyroplastiques explosion. It roared again and unleashed a barrage of bullets and shadow missiles from the cannon's wide hole.
"Gah!" Asura flew out of the way, grabbing Uther, as Shiki, having no one else to grab, shock-jumped out of the way.
--Kurduhm, Bunker Area--
"Honestly, I can't trust you three for anything outside of fighting." A figure walked out of the web. As in, physically appeared from and came out of the web. It was notably more demonic in appearance compared to Vhytel, who was one himself. His skin was a dark grey with black lines running down his sides. As he spoke, a thin, black smoke escaped his mouth, dispersing as it came near the ground. Horns stood curved above where ears were supposed to be.
"I should introduce myself. I am Reshiva, the Shadow Devil. These three" he held a hand towards Vhytel, Arkhov, and Genevra "are my most trusted servants. I see you've been quite hostile towards them; they were told only to find a way back home, but here we all are, fighting. Now then." The web surrounding the Immortals disappeared into Reshiva's hands as he looked straight at Smash Rock. "I believe you could help us, seeing as your a big native here?"

After all the corpses had been cleared, along with that of the Baron, Sammer clap-wiped his hands. "Where to now?" He took a step forward before nearly falling over. "Oh, whoa... I need a recharge...." Sammer half-walked, half-stumbled to his recharge station.
"You could go on without me. This won't take too long."
--Floralia, Old Odyssey Plains--

Flowery continued to drop pollen blobs. Shouldn't expect much else from a Whispy recolor, at least not yet.

Soon, the trio of Orange, Joe, and Samantha arrived in a snowy area. Everywhere they looked was igloos and Waddle Dees skiing around with each other.
Orange went up to a Dee selling Hot Cocoa. "Hey, I need to ask you something."
The Dee turned towards Orange and Co. before jumping back from the stand.
"Wh- Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you." The Dee continued to keep his distance.
"Orange, let me try." Joe stepped up, taking Orange's place as Orange pouted. At this, the Dee became calmer but was still very much nervous due to Joe's presence. "Have you seen some guy with six arms carrying the King fly by?"
The Dee nodded and pointed a stubby arm towards a large tower looming in the distance.
"Thanks. Come on, let's go save Dedede." He ran off, Orange following behind.

"Okay, we've got to do something! He's headed for the soldiers!"
"Putting him right in the air, where the blades of Rexcalibur deal the most damage..." Erk picked up the Rexcalibur tome. It wasn't in great shape- Erk figured it had about ten uses left, without repairs. But it was his best shot.
"Have to make this count... Serra, hide and be ready to use this." Erk tossed Serra his Rescue Staff.
"Oh, good idea." Serra quickly endeavored to find a nice hiding spot, away from the action. Meanwhile, Erk focused on Vortak's flight path, then leapt out from behind cover and sent a blast of magical wind directly at him.
"Whee heeee! Look at THIS!" Kefka pulled his hand back, and the Super Ball, as if obeying his command, immediately bounced into Mekito's spell, negating the fire with an explosion of water, and causing the electricity to fly off course. "Sooo, one-on-one, hmm? I didn't take you for the type to give up a sporting chance, but, meh, no skin off MY nose." Kefka started cackling, shouting, "Rasp! RASP!"
Blasts of... anti-magic?... started to form above and in front of Mekito.
The jetpack squadron kept aiming their guns at Vortak, rising up higher in the air. "Keep him back! He's dangerous!"
"Try to push him into that wind shot!"
--Nargabar Peak--
"Huh." Luna Wing landed on the peak. "You know, I challenged both of you... I really am curious. Why WERE you destroying our buildings and murdering our citizens? Nothing better to do? Bored for some reason? Mixed us up with someone else? Collateral damage? No brain? I'm thinking it's the last one."
Luna held her sword aloft. "By the way, my anti-magic shield is down. Try and hit me if you want." Small rocks on the peak of Nargabar were vibrating gently, but... why?
--Capitol Exterior--
"Hah!" Helena activated her own coil's lux lightning to try and counter the clone's, turning the dial to make it arc a little more. A few bolts tried to leap around, failing to do so, and Helena suffered a few more shadow burns. "Ack... not too shabby."
Walton kept his eyes on his copy, trying to stare him down and keep his attention. "Why don't you make the first move?"
"FREE JUMP!" Rick, in a move that violated common sense, jumped over the rocket's landing spot with his Gunboats down, and the explosion propelled him into the air. "YEEEEAH! EAT SUPPORT FIRE, YOU UNORIGINAL [DATA EXPUNGED]!" Rick aimed his rocket launcher behind Dan and prepared to fire.
"Wait for it, wait for it..." Dan watched his copy leap into the first portal, and then dived into said first portal, with his own shovel outstretched, and swung... and missed. "DRAT YOU, you cheating SCOUNDREL! I'm out of steam!"
"Whoa!" Amy rolled to the side to avoid Copy Amy's attack, but the bullet seared her shoulder. "Oooh... now I'm mad!" Amy grimaced and fired back at her copy.
Cecilia ducked back, initially bewildered by the two bullets aimed at her... then she noticed. "My copy can't blink." A thin smile curved on Cecilia's face as she quickly adapted to the pain in her left leg that Copy Amy's bullet had left, and watched Copy Cecilia's pattern, ducking under one bullet and waiting for another...
As soon as Copy Cecilia fired one bullet, Cecilia blinked behind Copy Helena. Then she aimed two Hard Light shots into the copy's back, before turning toward her own copy to react. A glance at her Blink Drive told her it was at a comfortable 45%... maybe this rain was helping cool the Drive on the spot?
--Kurduhm, Bunker Area--
"SPAAA-"
"Stand down!" Engie shouted. "Don't make that big feller angry!"
Smash Rock stopped playing his music, while his soldiers took the chance to apply medipacks and use Lone Star Prime's dispenser healing. Smash Rock's brow furrowed. "Man, don't take this the wrong way, but your 'we just wanna go home' story sounds like total crap. Have you been watchin' your guys? They ran in here and started cuttin' down people- at least, [REDACTED] over there did."
Smash Rock pointed his guitar at Arkhov. "First thing this guy tried to do was hack apart little kids, OK? And he DID hack apart hundreds of soldiers! So if you don't dig that, and you're gonna throw him in the pits or whatever kinda punishment you got, fine. But otherwise, we know that freak of the week is gonna go murder-crazy again!"
Some of the soldiers groaned. They didn't know what this Reshiva would do, but they didn't expect a peaceful resolution...
--Manor di Fieghan, Outside--
"All right. Thanks for all the help, Sammer." Sarah started floating upstairs. "Sooo. Now what?"
"Now, we should head back to Kurduhm. I think Father might have known the Regent."
Sarah sighed. "Okay... but will they be afraid of me?"
"Knowing all the nonsense going on there..." Zack shook his head. "Probably not."
"Okay! Hey, Alf!"
"Yeah, I heard ya. Let's get movin' to the teleporter."
Zack shouted down to E-1. "E-1! Watch the place!"
"AFFIRMATIVE, SIR."
--Manor di Fieghan, Outskirts--
"Hmm! Therein is all that remains of... good heavens!" Ser Rossenbach held his nose. "What is that cursed stench?"
"Bodies burning." Shell said, in the same matter-of-fact tone she used for everything. "The exact nuance of the smell makes it clear that human or mammalian bodies are being burned. The lack of auditory feedback, such as screaming, indicates that this is not a live burning, but rather burning of corpses that are already bereft of life."
"Let us make haste, then." Rossenbach looked down at Shell. "Perhaps we can find you a home here?"
Shell stared at the manor for a moment. It wasn't... the same. But... it would work. "This would be acceptable."
"Right, then!" Rossenbach pointed toward the Manor. "We must meet with the heirs to Fieghan. Onward!"

The two didn't seem to notice Sonus talking to them, and had soon left. The girl however quickly glanced at Sonus while they were leaving.
"Who are they?" asked the Inkling.

"WOW, WHAT A SLEEPY HEAD. I THINK HE'S RIGHT ABOUT HOW BORING ALL YOU PEOPLE WITH LOW IQ'S ARE. MAYBE I SHOULD JOIN HIM, BECAUSE GEE, IT SURE IS BORING AROUND HERE," said Scanbot. Lance, tired with Scanbot's antics, then threw Scanbot as hard as he could towards Desidia in order to hurt Scanbot, and managed to get Scanbot on a collision course with Desidia's head.
"WOW, REAL NICE. THROWING YOUR PROBLEMS AT PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND HOW BORING YOU ARE," said Scanbot, now upside-down whether or not he hit Desidia.

"I think your lens of truth is broken, because I don't see any demons around here," said the demon merchant, who then turned for Tency, "As for you, quit spreading rumors about my wares, it's bad for business. Don't you think I'm probably using my own wares to stand in this lava? For only 50000, you can too. I'm just a humble merchant who's NOT a demon (just ignore my title, it obviously means nothing) who makes a living off of selling items to protagonists for 4 times the price as if you sold them to me. It makes great profit, especially since protagonists are always loaded with money. I also offer a save feature which is useless here since this is a forum game and forum games don't need save features, hi mister spacebar."
"I'll just be going now," said Ailill as he joined Tency to wherever she was going, leaving the demon merchant behind.

"Yeah, why?" asked Ashley while riding a broom (The broom is Red just so you know, and I don't mean the color red). Meanwhile, the chocolate bunny still pursued them
All of a sudden, a portal appeared behind the chocolate bunny. Out of the portal came a black beast, eyes filled with anger. It likely wasn't working for the marshmallow judging by it's appearance and anger. The beast leaped towards them in pursuit behind the bunny. "I WILL KILL YOU AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!" shouted the beast as it chased them at high speeds (nobody here should know why it wants to kill them). "wut?" asked Prospector Ooga Booga.
The bunny turned its head towards the beast while chasing the group. "That looks like a giant meanie," it said, "I think it needs hugs to calm down!" The bunny turned around and ran towards the beast, who immediately picked up the bunny with one hand while still running and chucked it at the party. Ashley flew over the bunny and Prospector Ooga Booga ducked under it. "woh," said Prospector Ooga Booga, "utz ganin un us!"
The black beast indeed seemed to be catching up to them, and rather quickly.
"WHAT THE HUG?" asked the marshmallow, who caught up with them using some kind of candy bird which it was still riding on, "That looks like a giant meanie, I think it needs hugs to calm down! Nah..."

Scan bot hit Desidia's head and made a loud metal clang upon impact. The impact also work Desidia up with a start. His eyes bursted out and looked all over the room. "What?! Who?! How?!" Desidia quickly sprang back up, his fingers spastically moving. "OKKK. Back in action! Where are we moving him?" Desidia did not wait for an answer but rather started moving the ball down the path again, faster than last time. His eyes still on alert for anymore scan bots that might be heading his way.

"Well, I think it was kind of proving your title, then. Often it does that, shows me a description of the titled subject instead of the real thing. Happened once, twice, three, four, five... ...Yeah." I look at the Demon Merchant again with the Lens of Truth, and it shows a merchant with something slung over his shoulder with many, many red things in it. Said merchant was also wearing some of those products. I put the Lens of Truth back to where it went, and said, "Sorry, but there would be no purpose in me buying your products here." I went and stood in the lava for 2 seconds. "See?" I said while standing in the lava. "No harm done. So there would be no point. Unless you have one of them uhh..." I try to remember something I saw before. Healing necklace, no... Strength necklace, no...
Ah, Dulling Talisman. "If you have a Dulling Talisman for a cheap price, then that would have some sort of use to it here. Those rocks hit hard. I could cleave one in half easily, but that's if I stay alert. Oh, here's one coming. I'll show you." I pull out my lava blade and easily cleave it in half. "But that doesn't work as well if I don't see one coming." OW! One hit me in the back. I'm sent flying FAR away from the demon merchant, but still in sight of him. "SEE?" I call to him.

"Naaah. Grima was always a bad guy! This other guy sounds like he wasn't always bad. Kiiiinda liiiike... uh, it was that one emperor... name's on the tip of my tongue..." Cynthia pumped her fist as she remembered the name. "Hardin! That's the name!"
"Whatever this thing is..." Gerome shook his head. "Fighting it hardly sounds like a task for two. I'm wondering if we shouldn't call the rest of the Shepherds?"
"We probably should," Severa said. "Where'd you get here from?"
"There was a rift in Ferox that led to a place called 'Eternia', which is how I ended up meeting with Rui and the Scout, and finding out about DeRosa from Einheria- I suspect Profiteur used this rift as well, to make contact with you. From here, we traveled by airship to a place called 'Eisenberg', where there was another rift in the caves beneath the mountain called 'Nargabar'. Cynthia... how did you get here?"
Cynthia's face fell a little. "I don't know. A rift showed up in the middle of Ylisstol. I went in to investigate it, and it shut behind me... then there were all these weird metal birds with people in them."
"Ah, airplanes!" Myles grinned. "I guess nobody got around to making them in your world. Airplanes are machines that use electricity and fuel to fly."
"So, like the tank we saw... but it flies." Severa asked, "Cynthia, were these airplanes hostile?"
"Nope! They led me here and told me to help Profiteur... with... wait a minute!" Cynthia's brow furrowed. "They lied to me!"
"Wouldn't be the first time you fell for a liar..."
"Hey! You fell for it, too!"
"Enough... let's see what they've got to say."

"All right, there we go." Ertha applied her own powers to the ball, and it started moving at a reasonable speed out of the vault. "All right, let's get going."

I hit a huge rock over away from the mountain, and the force apparently causes it to send it over to the Marital Swamp and Poison, resulting in a giant crater that will soon become a mini volcano in the middle due to the force of Volcano Disaster's rocks.

We both felt it, our powers were given by him so just the fact that hes alive somewhere is giving me the chills. I dont know about Sonus, he was a crazy one, that kid." "Mm-hmm." Ertha shrugged. "Well, my power is simply a form of martial arts combined with technology. It relies on directing a series of nanomachines that alter the electron structure of most mineral elements. There's limits, though." Ertha patted her arm. "I've only got so many nanomachines, and they can only alter so many electron structures at a time. By condensing the directions into simple movements- that's where the martial arts factor comes in- I'm able to save energy, but only so much.
"As for what I am, I'm human. And I'm also one of Kurduhm's Eight Elite. We're Kurduhm's most powerful fighters." Ertha continued moving the ball along. "Now, who's this Messorem fella?"

Plague Knight did an overexaggerated gesture with his staff towards the portal. "Right through the portal! Watch out, he's BIG! HEE HEEEEE!"

Desidia smiled and nodded as Ertha spoke majority of what she was saying flew right over his head. "He caught some of it, one of the things that really stuck with him was "Kurduhm's Eight Elite."
"Kurduhm's Eight Elite? Sounds powerful. Also a mix between tech and martial arts sounds cool as hell." Desidia looked back at the steel ball and thought about this world for a second. Its all been so strange, just everything. "You should show me to the rest of the Eight Elite. I would love to meet them. Messorem you ask? Hes... A bad guy. He created me and Sonus, turned us into what we are today, for better or for worse. Back in our world he would take people, give them powers, call em Deus and add them to his army. Some of us escaped and others joined Messorem, most of them became mentally broken. Sonus was the first Deus, hes Messorems son. I was supposed to be the "perfect Deus, but then I fought Sonus and my whole body became paralyzed. We thought that we killed him back in our world but hes back, somewhere."

"...Arcfire!" Cynthia lit a broken lance on fire. "Theeeere. That's better!"
"Not a bad idea. A torch can help us see through this fog." The light from the torch made it much easier (relative to earlier, anyway) to tell what was going on around them.

A group of soldiers was present outside the vault. Upon noticing Ertha, they immediately gave a salute.

The soldiers deployed a liberal amount of Teleport Locks around the ball, then started carrying it off.
"Right. Any other criminals you know about besides Profiteur and DeRosa?"
"Sturm." It didn't take Rui any time at all to say that. "There's a man, usually in a big black robe, whose face is covered with a red iron mask. His name is Sturm, and he deployed a lot of troops to keep us from getting to this world through Eisenberg. We saw him escorting Profiteur out of the city."
"So that's who that was." Ertha shook her head. "Right. We'll keep an eye open for him."

"Quickly, Ailill. We must... oh, son of a swear word."
The poisonous swamp was forming a maze of islands, connected by short rope bridges. And there were walking suits of armor patrolling the rope bridges... "Plod Backpacks! ...Long story. Trainwreck was trying to say 'Living Armor', but didn't. Those Plod Backpacks are upset about being called something like 'Plod Backpacks', and the anger doubles their physical attack power."
Tency examined the Plod Backpacks. They all had swords, which they would easily cut the bridges with; that would force Tency and Ailill to cross the poison swamp, which... is generally bad for one's health. But wait! Maybe there was a way to sneak past them...
Or better yet, a way to cross without the bridges.

"There's only one way to find out," said Alex, grabbing the maggot and holding it in the air, "I HEARBY SUMMON YE GIANT MAGGOT MACHINE OF EVIL WHATEVER YOU ARE CALLED." Nothing happened, making Alex look ridiculous. "Sorry," he said.
In the next room, there was a statue of a giant monster with a cat mask on. In the corner there was a statue of some guy holding a spear. He was wearing modern clothes with a shirt and pants but other then that looked a little tribal. He looked like he was jumping back.
Also there was a squirrel statue on his shoulder.
Suddenly, stone doors closed locking them in, and the monster statue crumbled and fell apart, only to reveal that the statue was actually a giant monster disguised as a statue. The giant monster roared swung it's arms at everybody. Ailill flew up to dodge and used Golden Shower on it to try to lower it's defense.

The battle started and so did some battle music. Henry thrust his thumb tack at the ghost, it dodged but Orange hit it while it was dodging with his screw. The paper-specter emitted some sort of sound wave, but despite the fact it was a sound wave it hurt. Orange was hit by the sound wave while Henry dodged.

The Killer Aztec Cat Golem (K.A.T. for short, for whatever reason) thrust it's hand at the ground, causing the place to shake and bats to be disturbed and fly out of hiding. K.A.T. spewed grey breath at Ailill while he was flying. Ailill dodged it, but the breath hit some bats that flew behind him. They turned to stone and feel to the ground. The monster then spewed the same gray breath at Eta, Theta, and Upsilon.

"Grrr! Great time to be out of ammo." Eta drew a small ray gun from her side and shot it haphazardly in K.A.T.'s direction.

Ailill looked around. "I'm going to try that random sparkly spot over there," said Ailill. Ailill walked over to said sparkly spot and interacted with it.

"How convenient that we just happened to find these random tonics (which were for some reason in the middle of a swamp) for our situation," said Ailill. Ailill drank one of the tonics. He then gave a tonic to Julie and Tency before putting the remaining two in the group's shared inventory. Julie drank her tonic.

"Phew..." Tency let out a sigh of relief. "Well, now. Let's get moving before Basket Internet comes back."
Tency walked across the tree, and looked to her right. "Wait, the exit? Well, that's convenient. I wonder if the swamp's monsters are too high leveled for us?"
-Overworld-
Tency walked out onto the World Map. Volcano Disaster and Marital Swamp and Poison were visible, though Tency was now inexplicably twice the size of the entrance path. To the east was a small city; directly to the north was the "Rot Coffee of What" which, of course, was a haunted forest.
"Okay, Ailill. We've got two clear paths. Which way, the town or the haunted forest?"
-Cat Temple-
"All right, Chuck Norris tears!" Eta promptly deployed a liquid vacuum to grab the tears.
"Chuck Norris tears? Those don't cure Petrification."
"Sure they do," Eta said, as she picked up the tears. "They cure everything!"

"Wat, why is there a boss here? Also why are we suddenly not using FF6 music?" asked Ailill.
??? appeared to be mostly human. Not much else I can say about them other then that, probably because ??? doesn't have much purpose in the story other than this battle even though they're called ???.
??? fired a minigun arm at Ailill!

(((I'm assuming that's around the stats a normal enemy has around level 80.
Note this fight is rigged so that the party loses, don't worry because I'll make sure the party is fully healed at the inn in the town free of charge once they lose, unless you were planning on doing something when they got to the town, though you could probably easily change it so that it happens when they come out of the inn. This is the only time I will be doing this.)

While Eta was routing tears towards the squirrel statue, K.A.T. slammed his arms at Eta.
Meanwhile, most of the tears Eta routed got on the statue of the guy. The statue of the guy and the squirrel gradually turned back into their normal non-petrified forms. "I owe you one," said Dakota (the guy), "I shall accompany you until the end of this temple. What year is it anyway?" Dakota grabbed his spear and stabbed K.A.T. who was surprised by him and flinched. Felix (the squirrel) did nothing as they are a squirrel.
--Inder Town--
Henry and Orange went around asking about the paper-specters, though nobody knew about them. They went back to where Jill was. "Well bro, maybe Skittles knows something about them?" said Orange while buying some crackers and a small nail.
"Doubt it, we could try though," said Henry, "Jill, Orange and I are going to go ask Skittles about those things, come if you like." The two left Inder Town.
--Carly's Room--
As Henry and Orange came out of Inder Town, a voice came from above. "DO WE SMELL CRACKERS?" it said. Sammy and Philip the parakeets flew down from above. "What do you want bros?" asked Orange.
"Your crackers of course!" said Sammy.
"All right bros," said Orange as he tossed the two some crackers.
"Thank you!" said Philip.
"We'd like to repay you for those crackers," said Sammy.
"But unfortunately we can't help you fight directly," said Philip.
"But we can help you in other ways," said Sammy.
"Thank you!" said Henry.
"You're welcome," said Sammy. Sammy and Philip flew off. Henry and Orange then decided to wait a bit for Jill.

Tency kept her eyes open for falling rocks. Gee, it'd be nice if one showed up in... oh, hey, that was convenient! "One second, let me handle this rock hurtling toward my head... COUPON OF PLOTTE! ACTIVATE!"
Tency pulled up one sleeve, revealing a bracelet with a connection to the Lag Rift. She directed some Lag up to a falling rock, stopping it in mid-air, before casually walking out of its path. "All right, step out from under that rock, gentlemen. It's Lagging."
