Story Thread

Story:

-A lone soldier walks into his commanders tent with a salute, his eyes cold and scared as he makes what is sure to be his final report. His knees shaking and his arms wobbling from the sleep he could not keep.

“Sir! We are low on rasions and are getting low on energy and ammunition for the weapons. Alpha squad has yet to be recovered, we have also lost forward recon just ten minutes ago.”

The Soldier stood on his broken soul as if showing it off to the world like a badge of honor he was too scared to take off. Meanwhile his commander just stood looking at the back of the tent. Not a word, no movement matched the soundless decorations of the tent. It was as if the cold world of the void was taking this one threw and threw. With one action, the lifting of his hand the Soldier was dismissed to his post.

Standing up the Commander walked outside and looked up at the fake night sky of the clockworks. His eye seemed lit up with warmth of its beauty, yet his empty eye socket looked right threw it as he spoke to himself.

“So, we failed.”

Looking forwards a war-torn level stood between him and the shadow layer that house the enemy which seemed to want nothing more than to remove the people who now called cradle it’s home.

Knights, as far as the eye could see stood around camps sleeping in shifts with there weapons at the ready scared and afraid of what was to come next. Each man and woman was with more than what they were payed to use. These poor souls….How can I do this, how can we fight an enemy that takes our own and changes them into undying monsters. Turning back to his tent the Commander wrote to his Order.
‘To the Spiral Order, or whomever this pertains to.

We are losing the battle against the creature we have dubbed, Swarm. This creature does not stop, it does not rest, it does not sleep. It seems to feed on us only to make us stand once more and act as to its will. To whoever is willing to let them come down this deep, we will be waiting. I, the Commander of the forward recon, will stay with my fallen troops. The Wardens will stand guard and make sure no one leaves. I am sorry Captain Ozlo. We failed.’

With the passing of that message the shadow-layer was closed down and the Threat locked away. Even to this day the Shadow-Layer remains closed, yet some say passage, small but well hidden, let in and out the old enemy.-

Alright. Well that was fun thinking of an RP idea and title. Note this story is based off the players and changes to the choices you make and or actions you do. It does not help if you run in gun-ho, you will die. No repone, one life to live and if you don’t use your mind before your muscles you will end up dead at the feet of your enemy.

Player vs. Player: is welcome but will be taken care of with respect to a moderator/’s selected. This means you’re posts will be watched and if any power-emoting or ‘god-moding’ is seen you will be warned and thus must fix it. Everyone has a chance to live and die fairly. Should you ignore a warning or keep doing it the battle will be decited off screen in the special post just for this RP.

OOC: Try and keep it slim as possible for we all hate OOC, but is you must keep it in OOC brackets. (( )) Those are OOC brackets.
Moderator/’s: You will be tasked with one side or the other, but I must ask that if you are the ‘enemy’ be fair. Be cunning and fair, I want to see an enemy with heart and soul. The Swarm is not the only force at work here. Also, I will be asking you below, if your name is listed, please say yes or no. I would really love to have you on board. Also, these selections are based off my experience with the people, a little Bias will be installed but not enough to ruin the over all feel I am trying to set.

Players: Your welcome to any class/Race/Class type/Faction that makes since in this RP. So no Undead Spiral Knights, just no.

Classes:

Guardian-

-Heavy Guardian: Is strong willed but his guard is stronger. Able to take allot of punishment but not very good at dealing it out.

-Bomber: Gets up close and tends to go boom allot. Thou it should be under Specialist set Bombers are more relable when blowing things up instead of building

-Elemental Defender: Tend to be called in when the normal Armor classes can't handle it. Acting like a wall they suffer from lack of damage out put because of slow nature. But make up for it will heavy defensive power.

-Shadow Defender: Tend to lurk in the shadows and pray on the ill prepared. Thou by nature they like the darkness this class is easily able to slip a knife into its enemy with out anyone being the wise. However they tend to suffer from light and are weaker outside of there beloved shadows.

-Piercing Defender: Being experts at finding a weakness in others armor this class will make quick and rapit attacks to find and expose weakness. Yet in the dark or fighting the Fiends of Cradle they come up short every time.

-Cobalt Knight: An All around good class, they are able to deal out normal damage but also are able to block just the same amount. Facing an enemy a Cobalt Knight tends to fight harder relying on there sword then some advantage in battle.

The Specialist-

-Gunslingers: Long ranged death bringers. Up close they are weaker because of there armor being light letting them move around more freely. But at a distance they can be just as deadly as A Striker up close.

-Striker: Like to be up in some ones face with fast movements and even faster hands. As if to counter there gun carrying opposits Strikers have on Light metal armor and shorter blades offering quicker attacks. But forced to fight ranged, a Striker is no match at all.

-Recon: Tend to sneak around and collect information for the main forces. Thou hard to catch a Recon unit could get into your lines and already told there squad where you are. Thou trained for battle they are more inclined to let the big boys fight while they go for the price kill. Yet in a group brawl Recon are out matched.

-Sniper: A super effective Gunslinger, Snipers are dead in close up battles but at long range they are death's right hand. Armor tends to be nothing because they are the Sharp-shooter who picks off targets according to the most importen kills list.

Non-Battle Classes:

-Bio-Tech: Are able to study Organic enemies and life forms to better enhance understandings as well as give Engineers better information for crafting armor and weapons. Because of there brillance they tend to lack a battle since and thus are no good for fighting. Rather letting the Soldiers take care of it while they study.

-Engineer: The worker of the Army this person is skilled with there hands instead of fighting. Being able to build anything based off designs made by Bio-Tech's plans. On the battle field they can repair weapons and armor as well as work equipment that is not a weapon. Not really able to deffend them selfs in battle they rely on Soldiers to protect them while they work.

Out side of that, I want some good meaty information on your person. As for rank and Role, Your rank will be based off Spiral Order ranks. And your Role can be anything, this is your Character Class, Guardian, Shadow Guardian, Bio-Tech, Council member, ETC. Everything will be evened out, but for the most part the basic roles are defined.

- Core : A costume made Brain that Herex made in order to make him understand and think of his opponent manuever and battle style
- Barbs : Unlike normal lichen barb ark's barbs has been replaced with blades and guns. To be precise Combuster and Biohazzard offering 2 diffrent Attack type
- Outer slime : The outer slime is preety undurable in an exchange so that ark can retract and Let out his 'barb'
Bio : He is one of herex experiment that has broke free out of compound 42. On his childhood his family is tortured by gremlin kind to work for them killing invader that enter compound 42 and his parents die while defending it when he reach age of 12. He then find a way out by asking a compound polyp to shoot a barb when he stand on it which the polyp agreed, and shooted ark to the bottom of the deep clockworks. When he landed ,he crashed into the floor so hard that his core actually get damaged he then fell unconcious. When he came to himself he was surrounded by purple tiny jelleis which greeted him and take him to what seems like a throne room.Along the way nearby slimes commented on him labeling him as 'freak' or 'mutant' when he reach the throne room a massive pink jelly stand on the end of the room which ask him a series of question. To his suprise ark was very smart due to the electronic brain herex placed , he quickly raise popularity and now became an expert slime engineer making gates , spikes , traps for the royal jelly.
Personality : Calm however gets temperament when near gremlins due too past experience , Like to space out , Freindly

Appearance

-Height: 7'0

-Weight: 123 lbs

-Age: 423

-Eye Color: Orange

-Markings: Carvings over the body, sphere markings and a sphere orb inside body. Spikes around his shoulders

Equipment: Defense is full shadow and full fire, orb in the middle gives him increased speed and attack speed. HP is 50,000

-Chest: A normal Knight body but has an orb in the middle which is like a shield

-Leg: Has a demonic snake tail which he uses to move around. He also has a dark orb in the middle which he uses to balance himself and to use his attacks. If the dark orb is gone, he can't attack or move much.

-Helm: Doesn't have a helm

-Weapons:

-Soul Grab: A black wire grabs a random enemy and the enemy with the wire has attack speed decrease: med. Lasts for 15 seconds.
-Shadow Body: Releases a copied version of his body to push back enemies, deals small damage (1 bar)
-Shadow Fire: Releases 2 shadow fire randomly on the floor, very easy to miss but if you get hit, you suffer lots of damage (10 bars, 30 bars without any fire resistance.)
-Black Explosion: Summons 10 black orbs that do nothing for 10 seconds but explode after the 10 seconds. The black orbs can be hit and destroyed if you are fast enough
-Black Fire Rain: Launches a giant cloud into the air which explodes into fire. Very hard to dodge

Bio: Shadow Master Malevolent was originally a swarm leader in the fight against the knights in the past before the Shadow Lairs closed. During that time, he sent out tons of swarm entity's to attack them and he often absorbed damage but since he was in a swarm seed, he regained his health. However, when the swarm got pushed back into the Shadow Lair and locked them up, they missed Malevolent but he seemed confused.

The reason why he was confused because he lost connection to the swarm when the shadow lairs got locked up. He asked the knights to see if he could help. Just before they attacked him, Shadow Master moved behind them and took the damage from a ghostmane stalker who tried to harm the knights. Malevolent attacked the ghostmane stalker and finished him off which also showed the knights he forgot his past with the swarm.

The knights sent him on missions with the new recruits and often blocked the fatal blows such as rockets from Rocket Puppy's. He was even sent to Compound 42 to help the knights where they realized he was immune to fire which made things easier for the knights since he often blocked the dangerous attacks and if the team was gunners, it made the journey much easier. He reached the Vanguard rank because no-one died when he was around and if he was to re-enter the swarm, he wouldn't remember his past with the swarm...

Personality: Crazy, often mentions the fact he used to be swarm such as "Feel the power of Darkness". Kind with allies, aggressive with constructs and occasionally calm.

Faction: Fiend Order

Appearance

-Height: 5'6

-Weight: 80 lbs

-Age: 45

-Eye Color: Red, orangey white pupils

Equipment: Cloak and top hat acts like Divine set (The elemental and shadow defense one). Staff is similar to Leviathan Blade and Sentenza.

-Chest: A pure white chest

-Legs: Similar to devilites

-Arms: 2 floating arms which hold his staff.

-Weapons:

-Staff: This is used for the majority of his attacks.
-Staff hit: Slams staff into foe similar to Leviathan blade damage
-Staff Shot: Launches a dark orb towards the foe, the speed is similar to a Sentenza.

Bio: Count Bleck is the Council Leader of the Fiends and often tells them how to attack. In arenas, he often sets up more traps before the knights (The gauntlet is one example). Count Bleck also helped slowing the knights down when they where rushing towards Lord Vanaduke since he is part fiend. Count Bleck has always hated knights and also hates the swarm because he lost a large amount of his fiends due to the swarm.

Count Bleck worked with the knights when the swarm did strike but he only did it because the swarm was much harder than the knights. After the Shadow Lair's where closed, Count Bleck and his fiends went back to the dark city on depth 25 and continued planning against the knights until they where attacked by knights and a giant creature which looked like swarm. Count Bleck got angry because he thought the knights and the swarm where working together. He is currently in a rage because of that fact he was missing.

Personality: Smart, tricky, talks in 3rd person, laughs at the start of a battle.

@Spirals-Ore: I can't let it pass, one I can barely understand what your writing. And remember, If you put in image it will be looked over heavily.

@Creeper: Declined under the lines of Swarm. Swarm are of one mind, not individual thus I can not allow it. Swarm will be taken care of by Moderation, not players.

@Sin: Almost passed. Your Image failed because I looked it over and saw it does not look like a Fiend.

Outside of this I don't mind, remember you have to read to understand. In this case Creeper and Sin would have not even made it passed the App phase because of the images they picked. Try again :/

-Eye Color: Yellow

-Markings: Bracelets and shoes have a red crescent on them.

Equipment: Her base armor has full fire resistance, full freeze resistance, extremely weak to water and full elemental resistance, is pure black. Bracelets are just accessories. Her speed is very high.

-Chest: Thin chest

-Legs: Thin legs and as previously mentioned, red crescent on her shoes

-Helm: Helm replaces her hair with fire

-Weapons:

-Fire Whip: Deals the same damage as Fang of Vog except has a higher chance of causing a burn and has Leviathan blade attack speed.
-Eclipse: When she and the party are in a dark place (Candlestick Keep is an example), she glows like a candle.
-Power Armor: If she is hit with anything that can set you on fire, she gets increased normal resistance max for 10 seconds.

Bio: Smolderdash is the child of Lord Vanaduke and when she was growing up, she saw Vanaduke killing lots of knights but Smolderdash was confused at this because they didn't strike first and they looked like they wanted to help. When she became 10, Vanaduke gave her a Fire Whip which she could use to help him later.

Smolderdash started practicing with her new weapon on the first floor of FSC when some knights saw her destroying the wheels (which she was practicing on). They seemed confused at her since she didn't look like a knight but she wasn't a threat because she never attacked back. The knights took her to the Spiral HQ and the knights tested her abilities.

Personality: Smart, patient, doesn't back down from a challenge, helps weakened knights and is very scared by water.

Personality needs more work. Don't just give me short words, this is your spot to explore the character.

I am assuming this is Knight of the Spiral Order, so I will say this, you need armor not just exposed body parts unless your want to make yourself weak. Other then that its fine.

Bio: Remember, we are working with Knights of the Order here: No Vanduke, he is bad guy. So unless you stole the wip, which you don't even have the ability to go that far into the clockworks. No Go. Outside of this, try redoing it and no child of Vanduke, that already sets things up for bad day unless you want to be roled by the Spiral order.

A: Yes its hard to understand your writing, no one is perfect at English and I don't blame you for this. it would be nice if I could read it thus others can read and understand.

Outside of that, it kind makes no since. A Jelly would be just a jelly. Try to think with in the realm of possibility. So if your going to roll a Jelly try to think like this: You Serve the Jelly Queen/Royal Jelly, thus everything you do will be to further there life/goals.

- Core : Soundex , a tool ark invented to let slimes communicate with other species that the soundex carrier ever made physical contact with ( I know it is based on pokedex XD ). There is currently only 3 of this exist one is used by ark , one is send to royal jelly as a gift , and the last one is keep by ark for one who is worthy to have it
- Barb : Unlike normal slime ark barb has been changed into a knight shield like plating thus allowing him to shield himself from attacker , The force field can also concentrate the energy into matter than blasting it off creating a bullet like energy matter similiar ( i think i spell it wrong ) to a valience bullet
- Outer slime : ark outer slime is very weak ( and delicious ! ) because of a lab accident that is why he invented the force field barb
Bio : as a toxoil ark was very smart compared to other slime ( based on :Toxoils and Giant Toxoils were created by Herex but apparently formed an intelligence well beyond the scope of a standard bio-toxin. Herex ordered the facility destroyed seeing that those experiments could endanger the Order. On the toxoil trivia in the wiki ) and quickly rose popularity because his invention in the jelly world . Unlike other toxoil his parents is actually a Toxigel and an Oiler serving for the royal jelly .When he reach the age of 12 he tries to make a serum to make slime able to grow legs , arms , and head like all humanoids however his experiment failed , when he tries the serum on himself his barb starts to melt and his outer slime became more liquid like . Now he helps jelly king by making traps around the royal jelly palace and even make energy gates. However when he hears the news that herex is making experiment on slime to make them looks like him , he spontanly feel concerned and swore one day to free those toxoils out of gremlins reach
Personality : Calm but gets reckless and offensive when he sees gremlin around , Like too space out , cannot understand people feelings but is protective to one he cares about , Like to joke around , Hates vegetables , but love to eat anything else

Name: Almar "Nappy" Zu'Tharum

Role: Explosive ordnance technician

Appearnce: A serious presence, very well built, with a stony looking face, and a large body mass.

-Hight: 6 feet

-Weight: 280 (Without gear on)

-Age: 50-ish, but never really cared enough to find out when (Or where) he was born

-Eye Color: orange

-Markings: Beyond the near total coverage of scars around his body from years of explosive assignments, his arms are covered in little tattos of fire and skulls. Underneath each skull is a name, presumeably a previous partner

Backpack: Defusal gear, remote detonator, canteen, flare, Snacks

-Body: Large, battle-scarred demolition armor. Though it is heavy enough to withstand great force and damage from the front, his back is barely protected

-Helm: Painted to look like a flaming skull, his helm Closely resembles a welding mask. This heavy plate of metal can be slid on and off with ease, and at a moments notice. There is also a second black visor that could come down incase of blinding light or explosion (Though visibility is greatly reduced when it's down)

-Weapons: Kamarin, Nitrome, Heavy Deconstructor, and Stagger storm

Bio: Growing up in a harsh world with no money, shelter, or father to speak of, Almar was presented three choices; beg, starve, or fight for your food. He chose the latter. Eventually, he found his way into Mercanry work with the Darkwatch. Being without ties, or anything to loose, the mercs made Almar work with the most lethal of their branches, EOD. During his first assignment to disarm a Briar bomb, Almar failed miserably, and his scars are a constant reminder of that day. However, as the years passed, Almar became quite adept with explosives of all calibers. His partners...did not. He has had 8 partners over the years, and all of them died, 2 to ordnace, 4 to skrimishes, 1 to wolvers, and 1 to suicide...And now, he refuses to work with anyone. Casting himself as a freelance mercanary, Almar is willing to fight any cause so long as the money is good. And now he's in search of work.

Personality: Cocky at times, but mostly uncaring and aloof, Almar is usually found sleeping (Granting him the nickname Nappy). Almar knows when to walk away, wiether it be from a deal, or a situation he has deemed hopeless/not worth his time. Money talks, and can get him to do almost anything, except die. He HATES royals and those with a title, seeing them all as holier than thou oppertunities for work.

-Eye Color: Black

-Markings (Tattoo’s, scars, anything out of the normal): Large scar on the side of his neck, covered with a red scarf.

Equipment (You spelled it as Equitment in the OP, by the way):

-Chest (I'll just use this as "Upper Body/Armor"): Wears a modified Vitasuit Deluxe that has the stats of 5 star armor, lightly built upper body, lower arms are slightly thicker. He's also left-handed! :D

-Legs: Legs are built, compared to what the rest of his body looks like.

-Helm (I'll just use this as "Head"): Lengthy black hair, eyes seem tired most of the time, no Helmet.

-Weapons:

-Barbarous Thorn Blade - Stuck on his back when not in use.
-Acheron - Sheathed on the right side of his hip.

-Prolonged use of the Acheron increases Matthew's bloodlust. This causes less response to allies talking, confusion between friend and foe, etc. Overall power and violence increases. The Barbarous Thorn Blade does not cause the same phenomenon as the Acheron, but switching to it does not lower the effects. Only if the weapon is removed from his grasp, do the effects begin to subside. He is able to use the Valiance during this cool down, albeit less effectively.

Bio:

Matthew grew up normally, in a family you would expect to see anywhere else. After receiving a formal education, Matthew grew tired of the life he had been living. He soon entered the Spiral Order, and fought with his comrades for a few years. He was a fine knight, and his Valiance proved that. No where near as skilled as the Vanguards, however.

Months after the Skylark Crash, Matthew had obtained possession of two swords, both incredibly ominous. Despite the nightmares he continuously complains about, he is never seen without the two blades. Several assumed he had wanted attention, and shrugged the stories off.

Personality: The quiet type. Fine towards close allies, very distanced towards strangers. His voice is rather full and commanding, despite the fact that his rarely uses it. Tend to make a visual barrier from females; will not talk to them unless spoken directly to. Matthew uses gestures instead of speaking, if it does get the message through. Quite fearful of the Swarm, resorts to ranged attacks usually. His mind drifts off often.

Bio: As a child Skotino was rased out in the country side making it hard for him to see or talk to anyone, causing him to make an imaginary friend that he called 'M'. Even when he got older this unseen entity kept on, being an ever present ghost that doctors say was brought on by his Schizophrenia. An illness that makes the mind unstable at times, thus he was given medication to keep him calm and under control even as he completely basic's for the Spiral Order.

Come to the present and Skotino is now a Shadow Guardian who severed his ties with the Spiral Order, becoming a Rouge Mercenary with but a dream and a crew of fifty. Those fifty grew and grew as more people found that they where wanting more from life then just to work for an army that just sits and waits. Backed with an army of his own Skotino, with his Second in command Daud 'Deadman' Nychta, the Darkwatch now furthers its self and those that follow to one day find a place they can call there own.

Personality: Having Schizophrenia Skotino tries to stay away from people so they don't have to see what he has become from the Corrupted by Dark Matter. Speaks softly and with a bit of a ghosted echo because of his corruption. Likes to listen to people talk even if he does not answer back but will speak his mind when has to.

Bio: Working with Skotino might have been the best part of this Wardens life. When he is not working for his Guild leader 'Deadman' is most times honing his skills and helping out the Spiral Order via missions or helping lower ranked Knights by offering them advice or helping them on missions they get. Since he is a Warden he is aware of all the oaths he has taken as well as his first oath, he belongs to the Order and will die for the Order if need be.His idle was Warden Arkus before the even when Arkus turned and was for ever more one with the Silent Legion. Now mid-ranked in the Warden's Order the 'Deadman' spends his time keeping the Watch in line as well as working to better his skills and make the Order a better place on Cradle.

Personality: Is very front with people he talks to. Tends to play his role and works with others to get the mission done. Has a small nitch to look for a leader of the pack and if need be will some times make the dission to kill some one if they prove to be a danger. Will stick his hand out to help or protect and at times tends to be reckless with abadon if it means others will make it, however will not hesitate to say when something is over his head. Tends to live on to the nickname that has befallen him as most people that walk before him end up Dead-Men.

Please look under the Accepted Apps area in OP. This will give you information on what I am thinking and what is going on.

As for starting or not. For right now I don't want us to start but feel free to start with minor detail in the Story Forum. This means, I need you to take it onto yourself and make it sound as real as possible for if your not starting in the listed starting area of the story, which is to say the Spiral Order/Merc starting place.

YOU MUST START IN A LISTED STARTING PLACE.

Even if your character is late to the party. You all start in a listed starting place and from there you move to where you are said to go via Mod/Story dictation.

Bio:
Alexander has served with the Recon Rangers as a Long Range Support for several years, after being recruited off a Back-Water planet during Isoran recruitment way back when. The planet he was recruited from however was religious, and worshipped a God known as "The Judgement". An Omnipotent being, well versed in passing wrathful judgement onto evil spirits, freeing its people from sin. Ever since he was taken in by the Rangers, he has carried out all missions in the name of said god, much to the uneasiness of his comraddes. As such, he is used to doing missions alone, usually strikes against Forces he deems as evil. Upon Isoran and the War, it was against Morai Militant figures, however since landing on Cradle, his attentions have been drawn mainly toward Undead & Fiends alike.

During training over several sessions, most higher-ups noticed an interest with Fire-arms at long range. It was because of this, he was assigned special training in the use of specialised weapons, used in the focus of Long Range damage, while sacrificing quick reloads & manouverability in most short range fire-fights. At the end of these sessions, he was rewarded his own rifle, which he modified over his service to serve as a worthy tool in the name of his God. He named such a Long Range Rifle, "Penance".

Ever since the discovery of the Swarm, Desna has assigned Alexander with the recovery of information & eradication of any direct threats to Haven & The Recon Rangers. Knowing full well how it would effect his zeal in his duty, Desna also mentioned how the Swarm embodied the very spirits once banished by The Judgement. With loaded rifle & sharp wits, Alexander takes his mission to heart and sets out to discover the route of the swarm.

Personality:
Usually keeps to himself during missions and out of them. Can socialise, but feels awkward, due to not being used to being open to others. Is extremely focussed in battle, keeping in tune with his surroundings, picking out any sounds around him and reacting with speed. While focussed, he will attack any who try to sneak up on him, friend or foe. Only a few mins out of combat or not looking down a rifle will snap him out of the state. Is a suprisingly good chef. Often preaches about "The Judgement" while off duty.

1.) I like the app, I will let it pass post pending the weapon is changed from double reload to a single shot. Other wise things will get a little messy down the road balance wise.

2.) Yes your my third choice for the mod possion, I only need two for right now unless other wise said so. But as it stands your the first of the two mods till other wise said so or removed from said post.

@Edolas, feel free to start. Remember the starting area's. Currently Spiral Order/Darkwatch Mercanries are in that little are. The game is currently in Prolog/starting Phase. Once we get some more people or till I say other wise, the Story progression is all on the character deveilment thus you may speak to anyone.

As a Mod you can control NPCs for people, lets try and keep Mods taking care of NPCs for right now.

-Weapons:

- A dagger that is similar to Leviathan Blade but has more ASI.
- When he back-flips, he tosses a Venom Veiler which explode instantly when they hit someone or the ground.

Bio: Molpos was a regular knight who liked moving around fast. In training, he quickly defeated the enemies without shielding but the others did. They decided to make him a striker because of his fast speed and attack. During a mission though, he silently sneaked to foes and defeated them before they got any attention.

During the same mission, his team got caught by a lot of thwackers and Molpos managed to rescue them but he got severely injured because his blade was too long. When they made it back to the base, they started to heal Molpos and modified his weapon so it was a dagger now. When he reached Defender, he couldn't go higher because his blade was not enough for Tier 3.

Molpos started training again and took a Venom Veiler and tossed them at the Scuttlebots. They didn't work but when they knocked him down, and he back-flipped while tossing the bombs, they exploded instantly. The only problem with this was the fact he lost a lot of health when he got knocked down. After he used this technique on Seerus and managed to shut down one of his grand arsenal's (T1) they made him a champion.

Personality: Smart, sneaky, quiet, Prefers to go solo and rarely talks to anyone. Always focus on his targets (If the mission was to kill all scorchers on a nearby deconstruction zone, he would go straight at them). Doesn't eat or drink much and often relaxes on his own.

@Creeper: That is fine but I have the feeling your PC is a little under powered by weight. Most men that underweight are suffering from rickets/dying. As for the bomb situation, its fine but I want to lower the count from Three to One. This will make it less over-powered and save you some ammo later on down the road.

Out side of those stipulations, Creeper your approved.

Appearance: Huge (a bit taller than Lord Vanaduke) mocha-brown furred Gremlin Thwacker with white underbelly. His gear looks a lot like a Darkfang's gear, except for the fact that he has six huge vial objects coming out of his back, that pump purple-colored reviving chemicals into him every time he dies, everything is black, dark grey, and silver, and he has no badge thing.

Race: Gremlin

Alliance: Gremlin Colonists

Equipment: Gigantic silver double-headed warhammer that gas a spike on the end, Gigantic silver shield, both have huge damage at point blank range, and stun if father away. Like a knight, the warhammer has a charge attack, which is slamming it against the ground very, very, VERY hard and causing cracks to riddle the earth and a spike of rock to hit the opponent.
He can also roar, which can cause stun, and he can swing his claws and hit you, which also causes stun. The spike at the end of his warhammer can cause piercing damage.

Background: Malkrath was once a small Gremlin Thwacker named Mal, who was never very good at harming knights or capturing them or any of the like. He never moved up the chain, and was constantly abused by his fellow Gremlins. They called him horrible names and were extremely cruel to him. This continued for many years, almost too numerous to count, until he signed up for the regenerative chemicals process. The first time they injected the serum into him, he became ill and almost died, and was abused even more. "Haha! Look at Mal! That cowardly idiot is sick! Haha!" The scientists and the Gremlin leaders rescued him, however and brought him back from the verge of death. He was grateful to them, as no one had ever showed him any kindness before.
The second time the serum was tried, they had accidentally mixed a highly controversial strength enhancer into the formula, ad Mal grew so huge that he busted out the the bunker. He delighted in his new-found strength and was very content. The third and final time the used the serum, it was perfect. Mal was blasted and burned and mangled, but the serum brought him back. The only problem was that it needed to be injected after every time he died, so they hooked him up to a regeneration machine, AKA his armor and the vial objects. He renamed himself Malkrath and was granted Lordship, and set free in the upper world. Now he roams everywhere, looking for knights to destroy.

-Elemental Staff: Is a mixture of all the status dealing bombs but in a orb shot. It does normal damage but can use attributes (Status effects) to deal extra damage but take away her health (Curse 10% so she doesn't die straight away)
-Magical necklace: Gives her increased attack and speed when she is one hit from death.
-Health share ring: She can give half her health to someone else in the party instead of using sparks (Only works if they are knocked out).

Bio: Aisha grew up in a ancient gunslinger family but she was too busy reading books to practice shooting guns. One day, she noticed how fast the gun bullets where but they where very small. She thought she could create something that would act like a gun but it would be a different design. When she reached 10, she created a staff which could hold her new design but there was a lot to do.

When Aisha reached 12, she managed to create power for the staff and when she practiced on some chromalisks, it defeated them very quickly but she thought something was missing. Aisha then took the damaging part of elemental bombs and modified it to her staff. When she tried it on more chromalisks with the damaging effects, she got hurt when she used the status effects.

When Aisha was 13, she joined the Spiral Order after trying 4 times because of her shyness. She completed a lot of missions solo but for certain missions, she had to work with others such as the sneaky Molpos. During a mission at winter time (The mountain one), Aisha found 2 items at the top. One was a necklace which she didn't know how to work and a ring which she put on. During the next mission in a group and when one of them got knocked out, she gave half of her health to the knocked out knight which helped them finish the mission. Aisha learned that technique from the ring she put on and was kind of surprised at that.

Personality: Smart, cheeky, is very shy which affects her and the team she is in if they need to complete a dangerous place (The gauntlet as an example), Is often seen alone reading a book with her staff on her lap. Doesn't like being slow but she can't help that. Always keeps calm even when things are in critical condition.

@Robo: Outside of the staff she is fine. How about this, limit the staff to one element and give it a coin toss chance to deal the status effect. Moderators will take care of the coin toss. The Bio is nice, but the picture...Look I will pass it for now. Just look at the Application Section of the OP for more information.

@Aekun: Declined under the idea is is too powerful. I can understand if this was an enemy for the Knights later on but we have not come to that yet and I really want Moderation to take care of that element. Try redoing it and less of the monster gremlin with over powerful stuff.

On an unrelated note:

Sorry for taking so long on posts and applications, I am currently in a different time zone and its messing with me. But I am getting ready to move things along to the next day, remember currently it is peperation for the dive into the Shadow-layer not it might not be the really enemy we are after. Please read what I said, It has to do one type of damage, not all. It will ahve a 50% chance to do that status effect, else it is just normal damage. Not a Muilty damage type.

-Staff: This is used for the majority of his attacks.
-Staff Hit: Slams staff to push them back when making traps
-Traps: Activates traps on floor if deactivated and can set up traps which harm foes.

Bio: Count Bleck is the Council Leader of the Fiends and often tells them how to attack. In arenas, he often sets up more traps before the knights (The gauntlet is one example). Count Bleck also helped slowing the knights down when they where rushing towards Lord Vanaduke since he is part fiend. Count Bleck has always hated knights and also hates the swarm because he lost a large amount of his fiends due to the swarm.

Count Bleck worked with the knights when the swarm did strike but he only did it because the swarm was much harder than the knights. After the Shadow Lair's where closed, Count Bleck and his fiends went back to the dark city on depth 25 and continued planning against the knights until they where attacked by a giant creature (Avalanche) which looked like swarm. Count Bleck and his devilites started to get taking over by this creature who managed to take over the city and locked them up.

Count Bleck was at the front of the cage and saw them going closer to the shadow lairs and he panicked. When Avalanche looked in the distance, Count Bleck managed to escape with his staff and got out before Avalanche stopped him. However, the other devilites got frozen and after a few days, Count Bleck managed to reach Emberlight. He currently waits there without any other devilites and would do anything to get them back, even if he needs to work with knights...

Personality: Smart, tricky, always talks in 3rd person (E.G. Count Bleck hates knights), laughs at the start of a battle, loves working with other creatures that use staff's that don't ruin him.

-Punch: Acts like a slightly faster Giant Cleaver.
-Jet feet: Uses his feet to go up higher and then land on foes.
-Ground Pound: Crashes his hands into the ground after coming down from the jet feet.
-Guided Missiles: Launches 2 missiles which home onto 2 enemies (Lasts for 5 seconds and deals elemental damage. Cooldown of 90 seconds.)
-Failed shock: Gets shocked every 60 seconds and lasts 5 seconds.

Bio: Robo N8 was created after the other 7 N series failed. Robo N8 walked to the depth below and managed to fend back rouge gremlins from entering Emberlight and ruining the place. The rouge gremlins where from Seerus to capture the remaining gremlins who where listening to him. When he came back, the gremlins where happy with him because he defended them without much problem.

Since then, Robo N8 has defended Emberlight a lot but he has been struggling recently due to the forces being stronger. One day, a devilite with a white cloak and top hat entered Emberlight since he wasn't a threat and helped Robo N8 during a recent defense. Robo N8 often walks around Emberlight while waiting for an adventure or the next defense...

@Sin: Declined, it is too strong for what it is. Its a Council member, they are not strong and thus rely on there brain to win a fight not there muscles or weapons. This is a critical over sight and I can not let it pass till this is fixed. Think with your class not your gear, at least think what your class would have before you try and make it over powered.

Anyone who wants to make a Recon Ranger can start up in Emberlight as one of Alexander's Rookies.
The Gear is Auto-Gun/Calibur with 3* Cobalt, but you can pick things up in your travels for your own use.

-Chest: Has a darkened, leathery version of the Snarbolax coat but the arm sockets are missing (Not the gauntlets)

-Legs: Has a darkened, leathery Version of the Snarbolax set but only the shoes remain

-Helm: Has a darkened version of the Punkin king's hat.

-Weapons:

-Scythe: Swings a heavy scythe that deals shadow damage (Similar to lvl 10 Gran Faust).
-Floating Scythe: Tosses his scythe and spins in the same space for 5 seconds
-Body Spirit: His spirit leaves his armor and if his spirit touches anyone, the armor comes alive and slashes at anyone in the road or he touched. However, he can be still be hurt if his armor is hit.

Bio: Raven used to be a strong gremlin helping the assaults on Emberlight and most of the time, it was successful until Robo N8 finished him off. He was resurrected but became a spirit. During his time as a spirit, he floated to Moorcraft Manor and the Spookat's where able to help him create armor and a weapon using his spirit energy.

During the creation of the weapon and armor, black kats attacked Moorcraft and it was Grim Raven who went and got the documents back from the black kats. After he got the papers back to the Kat vendors, he was alone again and remembered about his past life. He got sad and also decided to visit graveyards to help the undeads because of rough enemies and knights.

Currently, Grim Raven is waiting at Moorcraft Manor waiting for something to happen...

Personality: Lonely, shy, doesn't want to attack unless an undead (not swarm) or someone he likes is hurt, is very quiet, often seen alone and becomes sad if he remembers his old life.

I'm working on filling up an app, but I just wanted to let you know beforehand that I'll come on board.

Name: Gradus. No last name.

Rank: Darkfang Mender. [Officially KIA. Deserted.]

Role: Medic, light combat support.

Appearance

Gender: Male.

Height: He barely reaches four feet, rendering him unimposing. Lucky thing too, since he only fights directly when attacked.

Weight: Eighty-seven pounds.

Age: Age? What is that? After what he's seen, how much longer he's lasted, time has lost its meaning. Keeping time? All that he cares about is that everything will end eventually. But a little unceasing number at the back of his head continues to count on, after his conscious self has discarded all thoughts of age. Four-and-ninety winters.

Eye color: Once an emerald green, they seem to have faded into a light cerulean hue. He stands out even among his Emberlight peers.

Miscellaneous: His fur is much lighter than those around him, casting small dots of the light back onto the walls and dark cracks as he walks along. Even when matted with oil and grease and sweat, it seems to never lose its light tone.

Markings: A small patch of black at the tip of his left ear; "Cow's Tail" his raisers told him before their deaths. In addition, he has a jagged scar coursing from his left side's hipbone to his navel, and another one lining the area between his eyes, extending down to his jawline. Both are a startling dark red, drawing attention away from his light brown fur.

Equipment

Chest: Underneath his clothes is a modified Sinister Skelly Suit, sacrificing some Shadow Defense for Piercing. It's covered with nicks and scratches, but Gradus finds that it somehow outlasts even plate mail in combat, possibly because it allows more mobility than the bulwark of iron plates. In addition, in case his healing fails, he's smuggled a Health Capsule into it somehow that triggers when even his healing barrier breaks.

Legs: Armed with jagged and wicked claws, though you actually never really see them in use except in desperate hand-to-hand combat.

Helm: A Rock Jelly Helm; Gradus chose this over the Sinister Skelly counterpart solely because the Rock Jelly one is a lot more resilient. In a Gremlin workshop, that's something no self-respecting Gremlin would be caught dead without.

Weapons: A modified Wrench Wand that bestows unlimited mends, at the cost of a much longer required casting time. In addition, his healing barrier only works once a day with it. It is unable to fully bring allies back to life; they shamble as a husk of their former selves, memory rarely intact if present at all. In addition, casting the spell takes the better portion of a day and no pausing in-between. His mends have a noticeably more effective healing process, often healing hundreds more of damage than a normal one would. It's capable of debuffing opponents, lessening their blows and in the case of Constructs make their systems malfunction. On organic creatures, it slows down their movement and thus their hit power. The Wand is rather balanced, with a heavy crystal in one end, making it a formidable club, though nothing compared to the damage a real sword would create. However, it is strikingly pitch black, the crystal crimson red.

Additionally, he has a sort of Iron Slug-like gun, but has little experience using it. He has exceptional accuracy, but takes quite a while to absorb the recoil.

Bio: Gradus was born in the richest family line in the city save for the Crimson Order's. Growing up, he was fascinated by how an adept Mender could seemingly repair mortal wounds in seconds and even bring his fallen comrades to life with a simple incantation. He soon trailed from the mending to the wound, and the wound to the process, and his parents commissioned a tutor to teach him the arts of basic swordplay. Needless to say, he was rather bad at it, and though he improved, he quickly went back to learning the art of healing.

Now, usually Gremlins are drafted into the army every twenty-five years; however, conflicts with the Spiral Order gave enormous amounts of casualties, and a new draft was called a decade ahead of time. Gradus and others of his age were taken and put into the Tenderfoot Clan. After surviving his first encounters, he soon progressed to Ironclaw, and then Darkfang, exhibiting a greater and greater ability to heal. Noting that his mending skills were exceptional even among the elite, he was selected as the Gremlin main cleric to explore the Unknown Passage.

In there, the poorly-informed and equipped squad was nearly instantly cut down, only lasting a bit longer by the frantic reviving of Gradus and his fellow Menders. As they began to fall one by one, Gradus continued to resurrect his peers by himself, witnessing each and every brutal and pain-filled death. He continued on for hours, the only witness to the innumerable screams and cries of his companions, incantations falling silent, war cries now whispers.

Inevitably, Gradus's wand was too broken by the Swarm's assaults and he did the only thing he could; run. But in an open area, with no difference in surroundings, he was completely and hopelessly lost. He staggered through pools of dark, subject to the Swarm's constant whispers, losing fragments of his insanity gradually. He fell, face first, tears cascading, onto the ground, sobbing and gasping and mumbling incoherently. And then all was dark.

Unknowingly, Gradus, upon falling unconscious, had automatically walked towards the Sanctuary, drawn by its aura of restoration. When he awoke, his surroundings now white instead of black, it wasn't hard to believe that he had been whisked away by divine intervention. Even so, the old Gradus had died, replaced by an internally-broken, exterior-fine husk. Though he would still look and behave like himself, his actions at times seemed brutal, almost violent. After witnessing thousands upon thousands of deaths, deaths which he could not prevent, failure at his duty as a Mender...

I quit.

He fled to the safety of Emberlight, away from those who had sent him into that fateful tunnel. From the Unknown Passage he had one relic; the dark, twisted parts of his Wrench Wand, coated in midnight.

Never again to fail his duties. Never again. Never again.

Hmm...personally, I don't think this is the zenith of my career. Feel free to propose changes.

EDIT EDIT: Awesome, I get to be in control of the parasite infector. I'll try to make it more than a generic "omg zombeeeees boom pew paow baamz" thing. Am I allowed to take control of uncorrupted mooks and corrupt them? No one important, just a post now and then indicating the Swarm's continued growth?

Well as it stands

I wanted every one to give there character a little exspsision. But it seems that everyone wants to speed up to the fighting. I don't want this, see this is more like a Zombie thing, the enemy(Zombie) Is not the interesting part/s. Its the people who are there that make it interesting and tell the story as it stands. But rushing into a conflict makes it bad, bad bad. Think about it like this, your in a Swarm(Zombie) Filled world. Make the characters interesting because rushing into a fight just kills the mood. Showing off here only gets you killed.

In other words SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY THE MOMENT. Its not about fighting or rushing the time line.

As for you Potato, you are good for the United Mind of the Swarm, our Zombies if you will. As for anything else, I will take one more App since I am asking you to be a Moderator and cover the Swarm's parts. Yes, I am giving you full power of a very deadly enemy. Be creative, be bold, and above all else, be interesting.

As I want them to be seen, the are locked below the Shadow Layer Gates, but they must get corrupted creatures some how. As long as the 'open a rift anyware' is conserned. Only do it in spots of corruption other wise they are stuck behind the Gates.

Also, Elevators are not everywhere on Cradle. Only in citys and Fortide area's. You can not summon a Gate/Elevator from thin air unless it was stated to be there via Moderator of the RP.

Outside of those new added Stipulations have fun.
