it matter very little, the forming of a Crystal on some ones back is the last straw. Its a game over in my mind for it means you have become the enemy. What I did ICly was kind. Now if you want to argue I am sorry but I did what I had to. And I will look over the Application, but Drill your reaching the limit of Apps from one person I want to see. Sorry but thats just a cold fact.
Hour’s Till Midnight (Open RP "Taking Applications")
My character missed the lift down with everyone else and is now out... Do I need to create another app or am I not allowed because of max apps?
Its not too late till Daud and Skotino Reach Depth 23.
The Engineer never left Moorcraft, besides if Daud and Skotino/a whole ARMY OF KNIGHTS made it down, more then likely the Elevators are working again.
Well, one problem is solved, another problem though, How is Molpos going to reach depth 23 without the lifts, he isn't an engineer and your engineer is most likely with you. Unless there is a giant pole which slides him to depth 22 and he needs to fight someone such as the Collector or not but I really have no idea how he will reach depth 23 in time...
Which Shadow Lair is the knight party going into? Trying to plan on an appropriate setting. Or are they just going into the Unknown Passage for a while?
They are going into all three, the Watch is and will meet up in the Unknown passage since the Passage is all the same and goes to the same place. However, you need to handle which ever gate the PC's go down. Skotino and Daud will be going down Gate Three, so don't worry about that gate. As far as it stands you just need to worry about Gates One and Two.
Since i made so much mistakes , i am going to ask question before i post now. And now for the question :
- Can ark make some kind of device that works like death mark , Once zombies are marked if a totem wave hit them they will actually die rather than come back to life
- should ark continue to the next depth or stay and ( maybe ) Help the recon ranger ?
- Should ark be offensive to the ranger and robo N8 ?
- Should i use past tense or present tense ?
- Should ark fight the swarm ? or simply just wander around ?
- Should ark have a slime company with him ?
- Should ark return to RJ palace ?
IN this case you are your own worst enemy here. The Story is taking the PC's down to Depth 23, the reason I alloud players to be any race they wanted to be was because I hoped they would all find a way to find a spot in the naritive of the story rather then just branch out into their own things. This is not what is happening, in this case I have had Two people try and diverge the story -No Names Being Named By Any One- and make their own. This can't happen for I have already gotten the story set how I want it to form.
Now as for what you can do you have some choices:
1.) Keep going down but you have to wait because the exit is blocked off by a gate thus you must wait for the Rangers to clear a path or attack you.
2.) Turn tail and return the the Jelly Palace.
3.) Anger the Recon and watch them turn a Jelly into a pile of slime. Or anger the Deadnaught, which is stronger then you think, and watch it turn Ark into slime.
What ever you pick you have to remember, your either fighting or running away to invent stuff. Much like an Engineer you are either good with your hands and a crappy fighter, or your a good/alright fighter and not so good at working on stuff. Honestly there is no in-between. And no, you can't invent something like that for it would not follow the lines of the Lore/what we already understand. Your a slime, not a Gremlin.
Quoted from Dark "This is not what is happening, in this case I have had Two people try and diverge the story -No Names Being Named By Any One- and make their own."
That's me, Deadly and Creeper isn't it... From what I can tell, it's us THREE...
Working out who tried to diverge isnt important Robo. (Wasbt really hard to tell either).
Its the fact that you did, when you shouldnt have.
Just leave the story to Dark & anything you want to try and "add" to it,
run it by either Me, Dark or Potato 1st.
Ok , i will just make ark 'Unconcious' because the dreadnaught throw him. Then maybe make him follow the ranger silently , are you alright with that ? oh also can you correct me if i get offtrack ?
Name: Akeun Tahaeris
Rank: Vanguard
Role: Cobalt Knight
Appearance:
-Gender: Male
-Height: 6'3
-Weight: 132
-Age: 26
-Eye Color: Purple
-Design Color: Purple

-Scratch across the left eyehole of the cap
Equipment:
Chest: Skolver Coat
Legs: Skolver Legs
Helm: Skolver Cap
Weapons:
Triglav

Shivermist Buster
Wyvern Scale Shield
Bio: Despite his light-colored armor, Aekun is actually quite silent and cold, this being an effect of a traumatic event. Soon after the Skylark crashed, he and his friends were take hostage by King Tinkizar and tortured, then forced into the cruel shackles of slavery to to help build pars of the Clockworks. When one of Aekun's friends rebelled, Tinkizar ordered him to be put to a slow death by acid. As he was being loweered in, he shouted to Aekun and the rest these words:
"Never forget me! Always remember my sacrifice! You are the Knights of the Spiral!"
Aekun, after years in slavery, devised an escape plan. It almost worked. The King's forces managed to kill everyone in the party except Aekun, who escaped with his life on the line. After crawling out of reach of the enemy, he collapsed, only to be found by another group of Spiral Knights, who saw that he was clutching a white baby drakon that he had saved.
They brought him to Haven, where he was mended. After waking up, he named the drakon Mokko and swore revenge on Gremlins for their killing of his friends.
Over the years, he accquired the armor he has now, and leveled Mokko up to 100, and to this day is working on a plan to destroy King Tinkizar once and for all.
Declined because of Bio. Reason:
The Lore of Spiral Knights already gives us a reason for the Skylark going down, we don't need a new one caused by a Knight. Please revise.
Declined because of Bio, Reason:
Avoid talking about the skylark or giving it a reason why it went down. Remember, the Lore states the core blew. That does not mean you need to give us a reason. In fact its best if you skip the Skylark insdent all together since we are currently not talking about getting off the planet.
May be better to just cover the bare basics for the bio,
Then reveal more of the story through RP prompts.
Would help form a nice character & story.

Although he seems rather fragile from afar, up close, he is the meanset old cuss you will ever hope to find. His sharp intelect has keept him alive well past his prime, with a plethera of various mechanations designed specifically to keep him out of the ground. Though he personally couldn't defend himself, using his hammer as a cane mostly, he is a master of jerry rigging, and has been know to turn a mound of scrap into deadly mechanations with abnormal speed. His time is valuable, and he WILL let you know it, along with how much he hates you. Because lets face it, at this age who are you trying to impress with manners or chivalry? (No one) However, should he be able to survive his next mission, he has been assured that his pension will be re-instated for another century.
App, Accepted under grounds of:
Remember, Techs/Engines/Bio-techs are non-combattens unless forced in to an emergency situation. Enjoy yelling at everyone trying to protect you from dying.
As a gremlin, I start out in emberlight, yeah. but Am I meeting with the Darkwatch or staying here, wheres the path to?
Which lift are you talking about in your post? You said "Concrete Jungle" but all of them are basically the same except the second part. I am guessing it's where Count Bleck because (from my memory) it's the only one in that sector that broke down...
Everything is fine but the Bio, Reason:
Your making yourself out to be some kind of hero or some one of note. Try just making a simple, not overly complex yet interesting Bio. I am not asking you to be the flaming sword hero I am just asking for a rough backround of the character.
Also Sin, he is stating on a different level, your elevator would be untouched it nothing else but a lost power for a moment before coming back to life. This means that if you where on the elevator leading to Depth 20 from Depth 19 your ass would be quiet dead and or gone. As it stands your alive and currently stuck because...Honestly you broke the elevator, maybe if you use the Console of the elevator Bomber's Gremlin character might be able to help. Maybe.
Here comes the random nature of the Clockworks. To be cycled in and out at random, it seems the next level for Depth 19 will be...
[Depth 19: Treasure Vault, Fortune Smiles on the Greedy]
Well...Random Number Generator helps when making these levels. Sadly it seems the everyone currently on Depth 19: Concrete Jungle has a battle on their hands which is blocking them from getting out of the level. I hate to be the one stuck on a out of cycle Depth.
Made it so they got out of 19, but:
Instead of escaping, Alexander and co. are now in 20 (No idea what level that is).
Have some serious shockwaves from an elevator hitting the next depth pretty hard.
Would have replied during actual time constraints, but I have RL things to contend with.
Alright then. Dark, do you want to choose the next level, or should one of us?
Should Robo N8 battle the Dreadnaught since the rangers just left him or should he rush to the lift's location?
You COULD say you stayed (SUICIDE/GAME OVER)
Or you COULD say you had left with them (STORY CONTINUE)
Depends on how ya feel towards your devilite
Count Bleck is still stuck in between depth 22 and upwards to depth 21. Count Bleck can't leave until the lift reaches depth 21...
Hes a Robot at the End of the day.
Undead wouldnt take interest, metal isnt that tasty.
Robots arent affected by poison/Toxic Gas.
So you could just wait it out until the lift comes round again.
Randomly generated depth connected.
[Depth 20: Candlestick Keep, Burning Blackout]
Lets see how well our rangers and .co deal with there new kat friends.
Not exactly understanding the whole "4 Gates" thing here. After choosing, are we locked off from the other PC's?
Much like there ingame Counter parts they are locked off by chains which the Head-Warden is holding. As for the Four Gates each one has scaling level's of danger as well as Swarm activity. Gate 1 and 2 are less active, while Gates 3 and 4 are more so. Gates 4 are the most active while Gate three 3 is some where in the middle. Its best for lesser ranked KNights to take Gates 1 and 2 for they will run into less powerful Swarm, while Gate 4 is the most powerful. Gate three is a blind making it ideal for Skotino and Daud.
You will be Alocated a Gate once you reach the Depth and talk to the people in charge. Outside of that you have to survive Potato's Gaulet devised by him till you reacht he Unknown Passage which is down THree Depths after entering the Shadow Layer. Once in the Unknown Passage the monsters endlessly spawn but move slowly. YOur goal is to reach the Sanctuary, from there a new Command post is needed to be built as well as research. In this place you will be sent out on missions to map out the unknown Passage. Remember, everything the Swarm does will be dermend by Potato.
Also, I am not evil, the Random Number Generator is evil.
Is the lift to depth 20 still locked or not? I am not sure, if it is locked, Robo N8 can attack the dreadnaught and if he kills him, the gate unlocks?
At this point Sin, you either get left behind in a Level that is shifting out of cycle and get lock in there for the next couple of ingame days or we say you feel threw with them to Depth 20. Edo state they made it, he is a mod thus is ruling calls stand threw. So taking this inmind you decide.
A) YOu went threw with them taking some fall damage because the elevator is not damage and requiers the Gremlins to fix it once it goes out of rotation. (Alive)
B) Get stuck on Depth 19 as it cycles out into the vast expanding void of the Clockworks where Robo N8 is lost and more then likely deconstructed by the Gremlin Colonists. (Game Over)
C) You Sacrifice yourself by staying behind to make sure none of the Zombies fall threw to the next depth before the level shifts, see Option B for the rest of this. (Game Over)
D) YOu too fall damage on the way down and are now in need of an Engineer/Friendly Gremlin's hand to work again. (Alive)
Reguardless if you pick D or A your going to take some damage. You a falling robot your not going to make it out of this unscathed. No one is, and on Depth 20 I am going to be throwing some thing special your way. YOu still have three days before the Shadow-Layer will be locked up due to the ammount of Knights going into the depths to bring supplies as well as astablish a Head-Quarters.
I will write a post and also, me and Creeper are working on this one, we are discussing in-game as I type...
Since he is riding Robo N8, he will jump off a little bit before the ground so he doesn't suffer much injury and yes, we did talk about this in-game...
Hello everyone! I'm back. Sort of.
Normally, I'd have joined as a normal player, but I'm listed as a "Pending" moderator, which I don't object to. So if I'm to assume that position, I'll first need to know what's expected of a co-moderator. You know, what kind of story you want to tell and all that.
In the event that I cannot be a moderator, that's totally fine with me. I have a character I'd like to play.
APPLICATION
Name: Gwenivere
Faction: Spiral Order
Rank: Researcher
Role: Biotech (alchemy)
APPEARANCE
Gender: female
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 125lbs
Age: 23
Eye Color: Silver
Hair Color: Silver
Markings: under her right eye is a vertical hair-thin scar (about two inches long) with an unusual crimson hue (i.e. not pinkish or white like most scars)
EQUIPMENT
Chest: a fine Silvermail vest underneath her loose silken dress.
Legs: a tight-fitting pair of shorts, just in case something happens to her dress
Helm: none
Weapons: a seemingly endless collection of vials, shield bracelet, and flare gun (Spitfire)
Personality: Gwenivere is a rather curious young lady. And by curious, I mean it in both senses of the word, in that she is both unusual and inquisitive. She is remarkably stable, considering her tumultuous past (which will be revealed in the story), and delightfully cheerful. She tries to brighten the lives of everyone she meets with flirty greetings, surprise gifts, and even an occasional peck on the cheek.
She isn't all roses and sunshine, though. She's quite dedicated to her work, and her contributions to alchemical research have been invaluable to the Spiral Order's scientific endeavors. While battlefield action fails to impress or faze her, she loses her cheerful attitude in such environments. Her somewhat impulsive nature does not bode well for her survivability in combat, making it both exciting and hair-raising for those tasked with escorting her.
Dark : Err... you said 3 days but do you mean three days in the fanfic or in the real world ?
Sandwich : I have a feeling ark and gradus will be freind XD
There should be no way you're done with The Last Story, not to mention school, work, your Magecraft CYS that I want to retitle, and the Liminal Academy.
I can only hope you can truly juggle ALL of this.
I finished The Last Story during winter break. Dat ending. Woo! :D
Welcome back first off. Secondly:
Your Application has been approved for starting when ever you please, just start in the recommend starting zone.
Does it have anything to do with this Story line? If not I must decline it, lets try and keep whats relative to the story on this thread as much as possible. I hate to be rude but ya...
If only I have know in advace, I woulda named my grouchy old gremlin Hawkeye Gough, ah well. Moreover I don't know where it is you'll be starting at, but I do need to move Jurak down. It's dangerous to go alone, take this...old man with ya
Oh yeah, and for those of you who don't know what danger close means, basically, it's close by, so keep an eye out
I don't get it .. what do you mean by console ? did gradus go underground and change cloakwork contraption ? or do you mean party button ? please explain it for me...
*Sigh* Not much to do with Count Bleck or Robo N8... Robo N8 is waiting on the Emberlight lift down and Count Bleck is trapped onto the lift up to depth 21... As for Drilldigger, Ara was pointless and for Aisha, it was somewhat your fault for starting that cut thing but it was uncalled for Daud's engineer to kill her. Granted, her mind might have became a trojan but, she might have still had her old memories...
