She just goes wherever Jurak goes. She's not afraid of the Swarm.
Hour’s Till Midnight (Open RP "Taking Applications")
Sorry Thin. I didn't exactly know how to react to the wink, and then someone shot someone in the head. I'm not sure how Gradus can react to that, though. It's not like people wink at him everyday, you know. I'll try to think of something.
Then put down that Gradus didn't know how to react. It's a perfectly plausible reaction.
Alright, I'll input that, but not in a new post; I'll edit my old, since I'm still waiting for Creeper's reply on Molpos's injury.
Why are you in such a hurry to kill your PC?
YOU JUST GOT SHOT IN THE HEAD AND SURVIVED!
Any normal creature would be down for the count, even with the splitting head ach that would follow. However even if you woke up I am sure you would have snapped back to reality.
In any case, I cant shoot him in the back of the face again.
Right side in tatters, and all that business.
*cough* heal please? I'll be a good ranger :3 *cough*
Uh, just changing it and it really won't be solved until the next depth.
Ok,
Also that was aimed at Sandwich.
*ahem* Heal me! *ahem* ...please o3o.
Please no...Just no, no. Anywhere else would be fine but not there. I want that to be out of reach for right now. There is a reason I don't want people going in there. No Gremlins, none of that. Having her just find it after so many year's even with the Swarms help, I don't want this please please please change it.
Now Edo, remember to soothe your trigger-happy self.
Daud, I'll just assume that some Iron Slug ammunition was in the Treasure Boxes, unless you say else-wise, and that Gradus collected some off-text.
The next level down did not change, its still a Deconstruction Zone, Emberlight Outpost. The only difference is now are back one Level. But I suppose minor ammo could be found.
He is only a NPC who is there to try and get Molpos back on the gremlins side. Not to meniton, he is similar to a gremlin scorcher and it's somewhat based on a failed app...
If it was failed, don't bring it into the RP. In any way shape or form.
It's only his appearance that was similar, not his attacks. Attacks are new and the appearance can easily be modified. Somewhat like a Mini-Boss until he is awakened...
Thin: Thank you, I have something planed for that later and I hate to ask you to edit your post it was kind of nice, but still.
Creeper: No, it was not accepted please don't. Specially when you put it like that. Just don't.
You're welcome.
You are invited to create the environment Gwen finds herself in. Otherwise, I'll have to think something up. I'm still brainstorming ideas on what she found down there.
*Swarm lair?
*secret Core passage?
*hideout for semi-infected people like herself?
*some other kind of control room?
*some kind of great power?
*maybe a portal to Apocrea?
I dunno. Feel free to add or remove to the above options, or just take the initiative and create an environment for Gwen yourself, as suggested above.
A Terminal, like a Computer space that has been hacked. One of the ways the Hacker has control over the Clockworks. I mean the Gremlin could use this to get them back on track.
Just trying to think of something and I know for fact that a brain injury can cause insanity which everyone is seeing Molpos doing now.
If nobody minds, I'll be introducing a new item: the Moonstone Alchemical Graviton Emitter, or MAGE device. It uses focused graviton beams and warp bubbles to induce alchemical reactions and levitate light objects (like vials or small crystals). Higher-tech versions of the device use an artificial telepathic link to let the user control it with mental commands. Gwen uses the basic version.
Visually, the device looks like a simple rod with a moonstone crystal contained in a three-bar cage at the end of the rod. It's made of redwood, so it's not likely to break during proper usage, but it's unlikely to stay in one piece if repeatedly used in combat situations (for which it is not designed).
Thin: A Wand Harry.
Creeper: You know what else a Brain injury cause? Death aside, it causes the user to suffer from muscle control loss, some times Palatalization of full body. Loss of sight, loss of mind, loss of hearing, loss of feeling, loss of taste, loss of muscle control (2x), loss of memory, loss of long term memory, loss of short term memory, loss of energy, death of brain cells, inability to get stiffy up in El pants, inability to remember who one is.
In a since a Head shot (10% suitability) could kill you but always leaves the person who was shot in a comatose state for a long time. Not getting up and JUMPING AROUND LIKE THEY ARE FULL OF ENERGY! If anything you should be on the ground, not moving, not remembering anything. You should be out until a Medical personal states other wise. NOT FLIPPING OUT LIKE YOUR HIGH...
Sorry for yelling if that's what you think, but use your head for something other then growing hair and a hat rack. Not trying to be rude.
You might want to look at this. Getting shot in the head isn't always fatal, and doesn't even always result in a comatose state, but it *is* crippling (though recovery is still possible).
You get shot in the head, in the heat of the moment you can move and do things, but not to the degree of being able to move around like a ninja on steroids. Still that is a moving story, if you don't cry or feeling anything, your spoon done fell out of ya bowl (In honor of my High-School Band Teacher this joke/medifor was made).
The Hallucinations were over-ruled Spirals.
Even so, only Creep's OC was seeing them from being shot in the back of the face with a high powered rifle.
Your slimey guy wouldnt see them at all, yet alone a hallucinated Snarby.
Currently the Lady Marksman that we saw before has been sent back toward us, with a needle/bullet containing some bad chemicals.
Her job is to eliminate someone from our Team (Im suspecting Gwen).
We dont know that she's coming though, so keep your eyes/ears/slimey-bits sharp.
Could you please edit your last post based on these facts?
Thanks o3o
Anychance I could control the gremlins in the outpost, and how they interact with the group?
Deadly, the robot is as of now able to operate on a decent manner; it lacks some combat skill until it can be fully repaired, but that's all.
Blessid, is Jurak construct enough to not have internal bleeding/quickened recovery? Considering that the Dark Retribution kinda shredded some of him.
@Sandwich
I suppose it depends on how potent the medical packs we got were.
Whether they were Light Supplies (T1), Standard Supplies (T2) or Premium Supplies (T3).
Id imagine if it was the latter, it'd hold all the squishy bits in til we got down to the outpost.
Blessid: Err, let Potato, Edolas, or my self take care of it. Other wise this will get a bad message across to the others.
Edolas: They where Standard Supplies (T2)
Dem Puppies are now programmed to unleash the full extent of their ammunition at once at threats. Picture a Gatling Gun that's able to shoot all of its bullets in a 10 second span. Yeah, that. The programming usually is reserved for emergencies only, as the firing nozzle overheats and explodes if too much ammunition is shot too rapidly.
Wait, the Swarm is coming in already? I'm really not sure what'll happen when Swarm meets Swarm-wand of Gradus. Hmm.
Title mainly says all, the boss I would control would only affect people who have suffered an Hallucination (Molpos, Spiral's character and Player's character). This would be chaotic since the others could try to damage him but it would be useless. As for the Shadow Lair's, there should be a exclusive mini-boss everyone lair has before the main boss. E.g. In Gate 3 (RRT), the mini-boss should be a much stronger and faster version of Robo N8 called "Deus EX Knight".
I have been thinking about it for a while and also, got bored...
I thought Gwen was still coming up the elevator, or at least behind the door. In a sense, i was heading towards the gun-runner who was tracking Thin
I thought Jurak was addressing Gwen, which would imply that the elevator had finished its ascent. I'm fine with that; I wanted that.
Creeper: The Answer still remains no. I only want Moderator's or my self in control of Boss battles or Mini-Boss's. This is done for a reason, even so I want Bosses controlled only by those I said can do it, other wise I will take care of it. Outside of this, I will not allow any one else to control a boss of any kind for the sake of all involved.
Do you think it would be kind of Mary Sueing if Gradus carried around a medical kit which contained some adrenaline shots?
No so much Mary Sue as it would be breaking the current settings. Maybe when you get down to the next level ya. But outside of this I don't think it would be a good idea.
Tell me, what do you see happening to your character by the story's end? Answer that, and your path will be clear.
You could go out and scout to make sure there's no more Swarm traces outside the Unknown Passage. You ARE one of the elites in the order.
Player: Give me some time alright, I need to think about whats going to happen next.
Dark, you made the mistake that Alex was alone. Muhaha.
Sorry if I was rushing you. :3
In the meantime, I'll try to enter a Matthew Break every now and then.
Potato: Perhaps, but at the same time, your dealing with a gun that has more weapons training then your Gremlin. And the Ranger is own so your not much of a threat. (Also I did not see that thus I had to make a quick escape :L GG Potato, GG)
Playerman: Alright thats fine. You can start heading down, just be warned, you will be with a group and Thin will be all over ya like white on rice.
Wouldn't the Emberlight Gremlins kill her if Jurak or Gradus radioed that she was a major threat?
I suppose this is more towards Thinslayer, than it is to Darkwatck or Sandwich-Potato. (Edit: Or to Edolas, you're a Mod too. :3)
Once I'm down there in the Shadow Lair, will there be a beginning "Safe-Zone," or am I vulnerable to ambush at any time?
Also, I should be heading down into Darkfire Vanaduke territory, correct? This feels like more of a useless question, but juuuuust make sure. :3
She could have shot Alex in the head, she shot him in the arm instead.
Love's a' Blooming I tells ya!
With an exchange of bullets instead of flowers is all.
Also, The Ranger is down for some passed out sleepy time.
There is no such thing as a "safe zone" in a Shadow Lair. If the Swarm hasn't moved into an area, then there's something else living there that's fighting it off. If you want a safe zone, you have to make one yourself. That said, you're less likely to be ambushed in non-Swarm-infested areas, since monsters don't communicate with each other nearly as well as the Swarm does.
Well i am gonna make the hallucination as a sign of a slime growing up... is that ok ? if not i am gonna edit my post. However now i am just out of idea what reaction should ark give in the middle of a bullet fire.
Thin: Damn your right, sorry I keep forgetting she is a Civiy. Alright next post will have more care to have her in mind. Thou I ask this, why is she heading down that deep :L
