Just testing a new subject.
My subject is simple and looks cool.
That's the back story behind mine.
The story behind mine is that the forums hate armor games and I had to make an alt and put my main accounts name in the subject
Oh thanks Nightmare.
*Sips tea*
If I can remember. My back story was me playing FPS as a 2 years old.
I'm still wondering why I even have stuff for it, along with the items in my inventory.
Also, I want dat ocarina.
http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/a8f6/?srp=1
I'm planning to get that sooner or later. :)
You should get the larger ocarina instead. You can play more notes on the larger one.
You mean the 12 hole one, or do you mean "The largest ocarina in the world" one? I'm mostly going for this one, due to not being too skilled with instruments (besides drums) anyways. More of a vocalist who's looking for great beats or songs that have great orchestra like Shadow of the Colossus.
I made a Ocarina for a HS physics project. It's actually pretty easy with bake-able modeling clay. Tuning was a pain though.
12-hole. It's honestly not that hard. There's guidebooks, and I figured out that it honestly works good if you use it like a flute only keeping your right thumb down all the time. Or you can just bring Ocarina of Time for the 3DS and/or Majora's Mask for the 3DS and use Link's Fairy Ocarina/Ocarina of Time.
@ DK
I use pretty much bake-able clay myself, though I'm mostly into making tiny figurines and decorations like little clay snipes or some christmas decorations for the tree during the middle of december.
@ TF
I pretty much brought both for my Wii (and still has the same prob with controls... much retro lol), so I don't necessarily have it on my 3Ds. Just to mention of flutes reminds me of those bloody recorders back in 5th grade more than a Ocarina. And I would like a physical one for collection reasons, being able to go with my posters, figures, and other nintendo merch. If you do know a store either on-line or off-line with the 12-holed ocarinas that has good service, I'd like to know then. Not too trusting with Ebay or any of those bidding websites.
My older sister got her 12-hole from Umacon(or however you spell that, I haven't been there, I wouldn't know).
You mean Youmacon? I don't really go to those sort of events, so yeah that's off my list as well. :P
Oh my gosh, what a heartbreaking game. An amazing, awesome game, but crushing. Can you imagine the drama and intensity if the overtime rules where slightly different and Rodgers and the Packers had one possession to tie it up again? That would have been phenomenal!
I sadly missed that game. Mind giving us a recap?
Almost all my friends are Seahawks fans (well, at least they like them better than Packers). My Facebook feed is filled with "WOOT", "OMG, YESH".
Packers up 12 points and implode in the last several minutes allowing the Seahawks to take a 3 point lead with about 1:25 or so left in the game. Rodgers marches the Packers down the field to tie the game with a 48 yard field goal with 14 seconds remaining.
Overtime.
Seahawks win the coin toss and march down the field and score a touchdown thanks to two 30+ yard pass completions by Russell Wilson.
At least the Packers covered the spread. Although, that is small consolation when your heart gets torn out and your soul gets crushed :P
Aye, I watched the last couple minutes...Packers...ouch. Totally did not choke under the nonexistent pressure. [/sarcasm]
Yeah.... One of the greatest collapses I have witnessed.
Snow day today. :)
Didn't even know it was supposed to snow here (was supposed to everywhere else), nice surprise.
You get snow?
Where I live the only thing this time of year brings is potholes......
@Nightmare Hehe! That's funny how you phrased that :D
My area got hit with a decent chunk of rain yesterday. I didn't know it was supposed to rain, so I was a little surprised when I was leaving school and I walked outside to find the ground all wet.

Yay, finally made my last 5* sword!*
In order of memory...this'll be good.
DA, GF, Glacius, BTB, DVS, Lionheart somewhere in here, Hammer somewhere too, Triglav, Winmillion, --battle sprites--Acheron, Combuster, another Winmillion, OE, Fearless Rig, WHB, Sudaruska, CIV, Voltedge, Furious Flamberge, and lastly Final Flourish!
I probably forgot something, and that is definitely not the real order, just a general idea. (WHB, Rig, CIV & both FF's sitting at level 5, Volt level 7, Suda level 9)
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
*=Leviathan blade is covered by Lionheart. Not including promo items or reskins (Node Crushers, Celestial, Candy Poker).
No. But I had to include because it deserves to be 5*
It's just that good.
Has anyone been watching some animes over the time? I've been looking for some that tend to be around the 50 episode range (either by 1 season wise or the whole series) and have been wanting some suggestions. I got several down that I've found (Soul Eater, Yu-Gi-Oh Arc V's episodes so far, Persona 4 golden series, Deadman Wonderland) , along with my bro's suggestions (Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple, SAO seasons 1 + 2, and several more on his list). And the anime's I wouldn't watch would be one's that practically have total all gore lore fests... just ones that would at least show blood, not shredded body parts or anything like that. So medium horror is okay. I've also heard that YGO Zexal was good, though many would say it's ruined because protag has 'plot armor'. I do like the music (Got almost all the YGO openings/endings downloaded on my comp/itunes), though I'm just wondering if it's good by other people's perspective is all.
And I seriously can't get over this fact while watching Arc V episode 12/13...
Lots of anime fall into ruts pretty quickly and it gets old fast. Zexal grates on my nerves, the battles last mere minutes while the actual story slowly grinds along.
My favorite anime (to date) has only 5 episodes and a single movie.
You could watch the OBAN Star racers series.
You do not understand how long I've been looking for that one, OBAN Star Racers. Thank you.
That's why I've pointed out how my bro suggested SAO seasons 1 + 2: pretty much starts to go off track and all that as the anime goes on. So I can watch season 1 up to a certain season with some animes. I've also heard Bleach got some fillers, yet it's all over the place so I don't want it for the school time. Maybe over the summer I'll try searching for some long animes like Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, etc. etc.
I usually look for character build, along with how battles role. I DEFINITELY love how Arc V actually describes the actual cards in-game when you play it. I even have some of these cards and they're pretty much right on the spot so far. Example is how Entermate (Performapal in english) Whip Snap can once per turn swap a monster's DEF with its ATK on the opponent's side of the field. Also giving me advice on how Pendulum summoning would work, along with Synchro, Fusion and XYZ summons.
And come on... tangible/real monsters with quick action spell usage ( #AttackOnTitanSuperDodgeWithAHippo )?! That has to at least make you look into it at least once or twice!
Though, I guess if the story drags way too dang long in a given time of 'In a ratio of once every 2-3 episodes, we would only explain about the plot and get back on track of it for at the most 5 minutes AND THEN DO SOME OTHER STUFFZ', then it'll lessen my interest.
Hmm... I haven't been too invested in Anime movies myself (Well... we all at LEAST have seen Hayao Miyazaki's work like Spirited Away. Great Movie btw), Though One's i have seen that were pretty much my favorites are Summer Wars or Hellsing: Ultimate (watched all 10 episodes in one go during WB lol).
I'll take a look @ OBAN Star racers whenever I can. Caught my interest, due to reminding me of Advanced Wars art style.
"Do you have AT system on, bruh?"
"Yeah man, I got to swap on Anti-Tank system to take out these guardians."
/Prepared to take on enemy's tank
Derpy LD responses from me. :P
I don't watch anime, but I have seen Spirited Away at least...10 times (seriously watched it 5 times in one day when I was like, 8).
On a side note I'm looking forward to doing these new vanguards missions...tomorrow!
I'm watching rugby right now... Even though I'm not entirely sure what's going on, it's entertaining :D
I was going to watch a college rugby match once with a friend and my dad. We got there and couldn't find where to go/maybe it was the wrong day/who even knows at this point. Instead we went to some café and got lunch. xD
Spirited Away is excellent. Definitely my favourite Studio Ghibli film.
Were you watching rugby league or rugby union, Markus?
@Zeke Haha, that's all you did? I hope you didn't have to travel too far just to get lunch
@Atlas Nah, it was not one of those. It was some tournament in the United States. U.S. sevens rugby or something like that. I remember the New Zealand team dismantled the US team, and NZ was going to play Fiji for the tournament championship.
Sweet. Got last Monday off for President's Day.
Then Tuesday for snow.
Then Wednesday for snow.
Then Thursday for snow.
Then Friday for snow.
Heheheh. Too bad we're getting 15 minutes added at the end of each day for 1.5 months to make up half of that.
Haha, that's awesome! Except for the +15 min. part My area finally got a good snowfall yesterday. Well, not anywhere near my house, but the mountains surrounding are finally whitish.
Oh man, I went sledding with friends one of the days and there was this plastic ramp sitting there. So we set it up on the hill and one person went down (and after we all noticed it wasn't very stable we decided not to go off of it). Then some younger kids pressured their friend into going off of it (he looked...7). Heh...he flew off that thing, several feet at least. He's okay though. :P
Funny/awful at the same time.
I started reading this and it reminded me of alice in wonderland
Alice in wonderland, how so?
Also, I just took a multiple choice test and there was a question that could have two different answers depending on how it is interpreted. Of course, there will only be one right answer, but I hate when two answers could be right depending on how the exact meaning of the question was intended by the test writer.
@Xteri
That's because we're all mad here.
@Markus
What subject? Sounds pretty damn unprofessional for them to do something like that. It should be clear to them that such questions aren't testing the participant's intellect at all.
Ah, we are all mad, got it!
The subject is economics. I mean, it's possible that I'm analyzing it too much, but I talked to another student, and he also was confused and thought the question was vague. We both agreed how the two answers could satisfy the question depending on the intent of the author, but it turns out we picked opposite answers. Either way, one of us will have the wrong answer. Hopefully the teacher either catches the error or listens to our case.
Are you going to confront the teacher about it? Hopefully with more classmates who hopefully had difficulty with that one.
