Fudge, that took forever! For some reason I thought I recalled you saying your team, and it was in the AFC. Oh well. Now that I know your team, I need to return to the mock draft... Aahhh, Luke Skywalker --a very nice pick!
So why do you dislike the Steelers so much?
I also liked the Seahawks, and I'll respond to that later...need to sleep-track meet tomorrow
Yes! I would like it if some more people joined :D
Any particular conversation you would like to chime in on?
No, nothing in particular.
I'd like to start my own topic:
What's your favorite pokémon?
I never got into Pokémon, so I'm afraid my answer will be rather cliché. I would say my favorite is probably Charizard.
I have a few favorites. First gen is Kabutops, second is Scizor, third is Aggron, don't really care as much after that.
Why do I dislike the Steelers...cause it's pretty bandwagon and in that superbowl vs the Seahawks I swear that guy moved back up after he had been tackled to cross into the end zone. Don't ask farther than that.
Alright, I just thought it was strange that a Vikings fan would dislike the Steelers so much. Of course, I have my own strange dislikes in sports that wouldn't make sense if you just looked at the teams I root for.
Aegislash is OP, but not my favorite pokemon
My favorite type is steel and it looked nice (better 2nd evo). The ridiculous defense/attack with a -2 attack protect is a nice bonus.
I went to one of my classes today expecting a review session for an exam... and learned ~15 minutes before class that it was, in fact, the actual exam, not a review session....
Me too.
I felt like I was guessing on half the questions, so who knows...
:c
That count to 5,000 stuff was insane. But we did it, and 10 days before the thread is 1 year old!
It was a ton of fun! I am still going to try and record the thread's info. There are a lot of skipped numbers still... Espically on the page where we hit 5000.
We still need to continue the legacy and keep on counting. It's still fun, although people might just drop out since we hit 5,000.
So...
I checked my e-mail. I currently have 1313 unread e-mails and a grand total of 2212 e-mails in my inbox.
Favorite and Least Favorite from each:
Classic Sonic Era (Genesis and related)
Dreamcast(?) Sonic Era (Adventure - Advance 3/Heroes)
Modern Sonic Era (Rush - Now)
Classic Mario Era (NES, SNES, 64)
Modern Mario Era (Gamecube and beyond)
Top-Down Zelda Games (Link to the Past, Minish Cap, etc.)
3D Zelda Games (Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, etc.)
Pokemon Games (Self-Explanatory)
I'll give an example with Modern Sonic:
My favorite is actually a tie between Generations and Unleashed. Go ahead, say "Unleashed Sux" "The Werehog was a Bad Idea" "F@&# SEGA FOR MAKING UNLEASHED!!" but I actually enjoyed the game as a whole. Probably enjoyed the Night segments more than the Day segments. But I really loved the path SEGA went with Generations, bringing back both of Sonic's Classic and Modern gameplay and combining them into one game. For that, I respect them. And because they published this game.
As for my least favorite, it's pretty obvious. Sonic The Hedgehog 2006, or as it's better known as, simply Sonic '06. That game was bad in many ways, from designs to bugs and glitches to... the Silver boss. Ugh, my god.
I haven't played enough games from the categories to choose a favorite and least favorite from each category. However, I could choose a favorite category and least favorite category.
Favorite: Modern Mario Era --Mario + go karts and soccer = Epic fun
Least Favorite: Pokémon Games --I just never got into Pokémon
Alright, then as an option, instead you can tell us your favorite and least favorite out of the categories.
Dreamcast category: Power Stone (might be #2) and San Francisco Rush 2049. That racing game (San Fran) is so ridiculously fun, you need to play it.
NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Los Angeles Kings vs New York Rangers.
Are you rooting for a team and will you watch any of the games?
NBA (Nobody But Aurelius) Finals: Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs.
Same questions as above. Are you rooting for a team and will you watch any of the games?
I watched Gladiator last night... thought of you. :)
I stopped watching dem games when the Leafs got out. :()
Heat vs Spurs...
I won't watch it, but I want Spurs because Heat is overrated and better than the Spurs.
I have seen part of Gladiator, but I have not watched the whole thing.
I don't typically follow hockey, but I am rooting for the Kings and will try to watch as many games as I can.
Yep, I'm rooting for the Spurs as well, but I plan on watching all the games.
/e tackles Markus-Aurelius and holds him in the air. Markus-Aurelius is suddenly 3-feet tall.
I KEEEL HIM!
I... have no idea what's going on...
This hockey game is pretty good --getting real intense.
Hmm, Gremlin Chatter hasn't seen much activity over the last couple weeks. Except the role playing game --it is receiving regular visitors.
Anyways, someone in Pi's thread said that you can put any single vowel between the letters "b" and "t" and form a real word. But then I thought about the letter "y." So my question is do you think the letter "y" should be considered a vowel, a consonant, or both?
The same can apply for "p" and "t", but that's off topic.
I think it should be both.
Yeah, I realize there are other examples, but the cliché vowel chant ends with "and sometimes y." It had always baffled me why English like to complicate things. I just want to know what other people think. If you were king of the English language, what would you do with "y?"
Well the supposed rule is that "every word contains at least one vowel", but then obviously words like "my" are exceptions. Basically "Y" is treated as a vowel if there are no other vowels in the word, I think.
Yeah, English is silly.
Yep, English is very silly :P
So how would you classify "Y" if you had the final say, Atlas?
It shall have a category all to itself, and shall be henceforth known as a "vowelsonant"!
u lokd att meh tred?
were meh nic flufy dowg?!?
I classify "y" specifically as it is in that song--sometimes.
In "Yellow" the "e" and the "o" are the vowels.
In "Sly" the "y" serves as the vowel.
So really, sometimes.
Also is it German Chocolate? I don't like anything too dark, and German Chocolate isn't dark at all.
