Biohazard charge damage

I'm in the process of making a gunner set to keep things fresh, and atm i have a shadow driver and 4* catalyzer..which i find far more fun (though whether superior is debatable) for my shadow guns. Anyway, my plan was to get 2x 5* damage trinkets along with it, but someone was telling me the other day that the biohazard charge doesn't benefit from any damage modifiers? can anyone verify if this is true with a quick damage test perhaps?

Is a High Freeze Defense UV on a Skelly Shield useless or valuable

Hi!

I'm quite new and I didn't understand a thing about UV.
Skelly Shield, according to wiki, came with a maximum freeze defense after crafting.

So how does a frezze defense UV apply here? Is it completely useless (since the freeze defence is already maxed), somewhat valuable (since UV stack a little over maximum defense) or high valuable (since you will have an incredible ultra mega super high freeze defence)?

In other words: if I want to sell a skelly shield with UV, will I get more money from a high freeze defense UV or from any other high defense UV?

Shoot-pause or full clip?

Does anyone have any actual numbers on this, with and without ASI, for various guns?

I tend to think full clip has higher DPS and shoot-pause is safer, but I haven't done any testing.

Does helm make any difference in protection from armor?

The subject line seems... confusing, I guess? Let me explain.

If I get hit on the head by say, a lumber, will my equipped helm be the only thing factored in to the damage I take? Like.. if you get hit on the head, does it make a difference what armor you have? Likewise, if you get hit below the "neck" (I don't think we have those...), will the helm you have make any difference? Is the damage calculated as 2 separate values (one for head, one for body) that get added to calculate how much health you lose, or as one value based on your total defenses?

How do raise sword over head trick

Ok alot of people ask me how to do this trick and I will tell you how to do it. (oh and btw if you don't know what i'm talking about, its the trick where you charge ur sword over ur head like a bomb)

Prepare. You will need a bomb and a sword. equip the sword on slot 1 then bomb in slot 2. Then turn your mouse wheel or whatever you do to switch weps and swtch to bomb. then you are ready.

step 1: Hit and hold tab
your character should appear and thats fine.

Stats

I've been wondering two things..... the Gran Faust has greater Speed than the Divine Avenger, but it's still the same pitiful two-swing. SO what does Speed do?! O.o Also, my Master Blaster has like 3x more Power than a Calibur(or a Blast bomb), but does the same damage. So, does Power apply to the weapon type, like Power in Comparison to Others of this Weapon Type?

some random gear questions

I have some questions about how a lot of the gear I am planning to get works.

1. Does the Iron Slug deal stun in any of its attacks? On the wiki, it says it doesn't deal the stun status on its charge or normal attacks.

2. Do different shields take more of different damage types before breaking? This is kind of confusing, because I'm still using a 2* defender in T2 and I'm just wondering if any other shields take more shadow/piercing/elemental damage because of their stats.

Unsure about what to get after unlocking Tier 2

So I headed into Tier 2 for the first time with my 2* gear, expecting it to be like Tier 1. Well, I was off by that one. My party got to the terminal, but because we were doing the Roarmulus Twins, on the very next level, the dot in the upper right hand corner turned red and I began getting owned. I'm guessing I need at least 3* gear for finishing Tier 2. My current stuff is:

Calibur
Blaster
Cobalt Helm
Cobalt Armor
Defender

Antigua line akward damage (PLEASE READ)!!!!

ok, so i just came back a month ago from quiting on grand opening cause all my stuff goes down the drain, i played and got the wolver line, owlite line, calibur line, and antigua line. I just got to 3* and my sword and gun (Blackhawk) is 4*... when i realize, IT CANT DO EFFECTIVE DAMAGE!

Blackhawk : Shadow and Piercing:
Against Beasts, Piercing is effective, Shadow normal -> Damage dealt is normal (Could've been effective)
Against Jelly, Piercing is weak, Shadow should be effective-> Damage dealt is lower (Could've been normal)
