I was just wondering, which path is best for the Demo Helm? I think I like the Volcanic Demo Helm, but I want some opinions. VDM, Mad Bomber, or Bombastic?

I have gone through crises and arguments and persuasions and revelations and everything in about 20 minutes, and it occurred to me that I'm not going to rage about the crappy statuses (or lack thereof) on gunslinger gear, or complain about sword damage being overpowered, or why bombs suck or guns are backup or any of the rants that have been cycling through everyone's heads for the past several months.

I just want to know why 5* gunslinger gear is comparatively so much worse than other class gear, and if it will ever be fixed so that it is on par with them.

I'm trying not got raked over the coals by buying recipes from the Auction House. I'm having a ridiculous time finding the following recipes in game.

Ashtail Coat
Elemental Hood: had one made for me :(
Miracle Hood
Glacius: assuming will be in the 3rd tier
Any of the Snarble stuff.

I spent a lot of time looking for my ideal setup (and already asked in this forum, thanks to those who helped me), and I would like to have some feedback. My goal would be, as a first step, to have a versatile 5* gear which would allow me to go anywhere without too much trouble, mainly as a swordsman (yeah, it's easier)
So, starting with the weapons, I plan to use 3 weapons, one of each type, without status effect as i don't like random :
- Barbarous Thorn Blade as a piercing weapon against Beast and Fiends
- Acheron as a shadow weapon against Gremlin and Slime

Should I turn it into a Cautery Sword (it only goes to 3*), a Nightblade, a Fireburst Brandish, an Iceburst Brandish, or a Shockburst Brandish? I'm currently thinking of Fireburst now. It looks good. But here's what I think:

WHAT I WON'T TURN IT INTO:
Nightblade

WHAT I MIGHT TURN IT INTO:
Cautery Sword (Damage bonus vs. Slime high, does 5% more damage on slime then Tempered Calibur, but goes only to 3*)
Shockburst Brandish (Good chance of causing strong SHOCK)

WHAT I'M THINKING OF TURNING IT INTO:

I'm a gunner and use a sentenza on vanaduke.

I do 90 damage because I have two elite trueshot modules = very high gun damage. I think that's about 25% more dmg.

The problem I've encountered recently, is at the 5th and last stage of the boss, I do a black damage of 49...

I'm unsure but my memory is good and I'm pretty sure it was always 90 before, the whole way through. Maybe after the patch, or something I have missed is making this happen. AP users told me they didn't lose their damage at the 5th stage and I don't want to get an AP because of that.

I haven't bought CE for this game, and it's going to stay that way. So this is a rather crucial question, what should I upgrade to 5* next?
My current 4 and 5* items are: Swords: Ascended Calibur, Avenger, Silent Nightblade.
My style is swords, though I'll use my gun and bomb a good amount.
Bomb: Freezing Atomizer.
I was going for Shivermist but then this update comes out and make's freezing vana a lot harder, so I'm at a loss.
Gun: Gigawatt Pulsar. (This question really lays at bomb or sword.)
Armor: Vog Cub Coat.

i rarely ever see anyone with that set. why? is it because divine set has more resists? divine set has no normal defense so shouldn't grey feather set be better? answers appreciated:D

i currently have a striker and am planning to make a venomstriker, then a dreadvenomstriker. but i read on the swordmaster guide that it is a bad wep. for tier 3. is that true? help appreciated, thanks:D
