G for guild.

For example: typing g would have the same effect as pressing enter, then typing /g.

I'm lazy, I know, but I think it would be an easy shortcut to add in.

Any other shortcuts that might be useful?

Player Battle Arena

I think it would be a great new feature if there was a Player Battle Arena. How it would work: Simple. You battle your fellow knights (not to the death just a friendly match) to earn some of their crowns and energy. Anybody who agrees or disagrees, comment your thoughts below.

Fixing the "core experience"

From Nick's official response:
Ultimately, it's important for us that players that choose to craft their own items do not feel their experience can be easily matched by a player that decides instead to get their item from the Auction House or in trade. The progression of finding and crafting items is the core experience we built the game to provide for our players and we will not see it devalued.

Player/Guild houses

One thing that I would like to see in this game would be customizable houses or bases. That's it. Each player could buy property, chose a house style/theme, upgrade the house, and of course customize it with furniture! Or maybe when players form a guild, they are given a "base of operations" where they could meet. Some pieces of furniture could have special purposes like arcade machines with minigames or radios to play music. Maybe pets could be purchased at a pet shop. Houses would add a lot more customization to the game and make it more fun.

New Monster

Ive been thinking why make a moveble gunpuppie? it'll move slowly and do Half the damage as a normal gunpuppie.

it'll be like, a normal gunpuppie on tracks, picture it? and quite annoying! it'll be called, the "movable type".

I see where you are going with this, and find it uncomfortable as a play who was use to the previous system, but can see why this change was needed for the long term viability of the game.

For the unbind store, first I propose a mixed system where there is an option (checkbox or otherwise) to keep the current heat level of an item. This would dramatically raise the cost of the unbind.

An alternative to raising Alchemy CE cost.

As a business, Three Rings needs to make money to survive. The way Spiral Knights makes money is through players purchasing Crystal Energy. From the company's point of view, the more CE purchased the better. Thus it's in their interest to add as many ways as possible for players to spend that CE. However this needs to be balanced against the need to let players feel that they're getting good value for their money - if they feel they're being ripped off they'll stop spending actual real moneys on the game, and revenue will fall. So it's a balancing act between maximising revenue, and minimising outrage.

Suggested UV-System Addition: The Forge.

So, imagine that there was a new building in Haven, probably right next to the upcoming un-bindery. You step up to the guy, and click, and you can now forge up your gear. But it ain't cheap, and it has some requirements and side effects...

Here's what you'd need
-The item to be forged would need to be level 10 (complete!)
-You would need the recipe to make the item.
-You would need all the mats, crowns, and energy that would be used to craft the item in the first place (if you have a Levi Blade to forge, say, you'd need the stuff listed in the Levi Blade recipe.)

I'd like to actually read posts about gameplay, but the general discussion forum is full of children. Please make a subforum for gameplay mechanics.

Slight change to icon for Frost Gel / Chroma Tear

As far as I am aware, the only two materials that share a completely identical icon (no color change between them at all) are the frost gel and chroma tear. Changing the color of one or the other would make them easier to identify at a glance in our inventory and the auction house.

Corrosive acid / ecto drop and rock salt / warp dust are also very similar pairs.
