Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Spiral Knights should add more new furniture

Hi Spiral Knight Admins,

I'm a fan of guild furniture and so are my friends, but lately, I've realized how dull and limited the furniture supply have became. The furniture are all the default ones plus those in Halloween and Christmas.
So, is it possible to create more new furniture?

If you want to consider this, then I've got a few suggestions for you. My suggestions shouldn't be very tedious to make it real if you really do decide to try them out, because the graphics and models can all be based on old items that already exist in Spiral Knights. My idea, however, is new!

Add the Padded Set to Mission Rewards

Having to buy 1* armor for 6k from vendors, which many new players don't even use, coupled with the recipes not being in HoH, makes it very unlikely that new players will actually use or even know about the content that was just released after a supposed 13+ months' work. It would be good if they got a free set in the early missions, around when they get the free Cobalt set, so they can learn about this alternate choice that's incredibly versatile.

Suggestion to make shields worth heating

So far all we get from heating shields is a pinch of extra defense, practically no incentive to heat 5 star shields exist at all.

Why not provide a buff to all shields in the game?

At level 5 a shield provides +1 HP

At level 10 a shield provides +2 HP

Allow us to choose which UV's we want to gamble with.

I've made this suggestion before, but here goes again.

Current Method: ~10% crafting chance at a free random UV or 20K crowns at single, random UV we are unable to choose.

It's a crown sink, that's for sure. But for 20K crowns at a random UV we can't choose, where's the incentive to gamble?
If you wanted to have a Defense Max or Status max of your choice, the probability is still a toss up between all the other garbage uv's you don't want.

Whenever you reload some guns, you see little bullet shells in the floor. When you use a grim repeater, which is all black and dark, it leaves behind black bullet shells, but when you use a wintergrave, which is similar in coloring, it leaves behind normal shells. Think you guys can change that?

Also I feel like the halo on one of the seraphynx's ultimates should follow it's head when it turns. Not go through it it's creepy.

Catalyzer suggestion

In my taste It would be better if the weapon could stay the way it is now but instead of detonating orbs by shooting the charged attack, It would be good If you could remotely detonate them by only charging the attack. That would translate into bullets you can detonate anywhere you want, something that may be a good idea due to the catalyzer's bullets slow speed

Level Construction

This page is obsolete. That is a shame and possible one of the most saddening things about this game.
With Battle sprites eventually came the loss of creating gates with combinations minerals. For me, this was the loss of a unique aspect of this game, and an excellent way to pass time/wait for mist to recharge/ end the day: By putting a little bit forward for what could be a new or familiar experience. This suggestion intends to bring back functionality for minerals and create a fun mode of play for players new and old.

Press Fire to Activate Emergency Revive

This is short, simple, and to the point.

This game is extremely connection demanding. Major T3 means that a half-second's jitter could maim or kill you, depending on your situation. Previously I had awesome ping and connectivity and had to watch others with net hangups and drops get their butts whooped helplessly. Then I moved and got less-than-ideal service from an ISP.

cooldown orbs. on pickup, it instantly resets sprite cooldowns.

Character Types (Missions)

Alright, alot of people don't like the new changes. I have found a solution. Character Types would be a great way to handle this situation with the arguments with "Take away missions!" and "No missions are great!" When creating your character and you pass tutorial, you would get prompted with the pop-up and text box (To prevent accidentally choosing wrong type.) saying to type either "Mission" or "Arcade". I for one like this idea, if you choose Mission, you can use the missions to progress through the game as is.
