Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

I just thought of this... (Shield abilities)

What if, instead of a shield bash, shields got abilities? (I may have suggested this already... xD) This is intended to liven up shields a bit, which are all defending against things and such...there isn't much like for 'em.

Abilities get stronger when heated up or alchemical to the next level. (Denoted by this text format) There will also be a UV for enhancing abilities.

Readd the ability to join a party, regardless of difficulty.

The other day I was feeling particularly helpful (and on a recruiting spree), so I decided to check the Royal Jelly Palace and the Ironclaw Munitions Factory for any parties, as I also was trying to get an Antigua. Here's what happened:

-I first went to the Jelly Palace, clicked Join Party on Normal. Nothing.
-Switched it to Advanced. Got into a party of previously 3.
-Did my run, got a recruit, etc.
-Went to the Roarmulus Twins.
-Joined party on Normal and Advanced: Nothing. When I hit Elite, I got into a party of previously 2.

Lockdown Trash-Talking Solution

-Pre-selected flavorful public chat options while players are waiting to respawn (removal of public free-chat, AKA toxic trash-talking)
-E.g., One-click chat options, like "Curses, X has vanquished me!", "I will be victorious next time!" and "Good game, friends."
-Free-form chat only shown to other team members

Example:
-"Curses, X has vanquished me!" would be shown to all session participants
-"c'mon, bro, you can do better" would only be shown to other team members

Team chat messages would naturally be color-coded to distinguish them from public messages.

I just solved Lockdown

Problem 1: Heart trinkets are OP.
Problem 2: People using heart trinkets hate auto-target.

Solution: Make a trinket that reduces the effect of auto-target. If you wear two, nothing can auto-target you.

Anyone ever notice that in Haven, you never see idle Strangers and knights? Don't they ever eat? Sleep? Go to the bathroom? I'd pay to implement Stranger children. Perhaps they'd run around, chasing Snipes with gleeful abandon?

Same could go for the Arcade. In those Wolver Dens, perhaps you could see some more critters in the background, lazily sunning on a rock, play-fighting, etc. For example, there could be a, say, Voltail poking a Quicksilver, prompting the latter to spazz all over the place, provoking a growl, etc.

Daily challenges!

I have been thinking about daily challenges that can give you rewards for completing them.
I got a couple ideas already:

Killing a certain amount of enemies (for instance 50 gremlins).
Collect a certain amount of materials (for instance 5 brute core).
Level up a certain amount of weapons/gear.
Win a certain amount of lockdown/blast network games.
Complete a certain mission (maybe more than just once).
Alchemize a 1/2/3/4/5 star weapon/armor.
Collect a certain amount of minerals.
Complete a certain mission without having to revive.
Deal a certain amount of damage.
etc. etc.

Defense fix

We all know that some "outdated" equipment doesn't work well enough now, a good example of this is the ancient plate and plate line which is supposed to give the players a "tank like" gameplay.

So, I've been thinking about a way to fix that, first you need to understand how the current defense system works:

More Variety weapons

Weapons that you hold with both hands, like it is a bit stronger from a standard weapon you wont be able to block/use your shield.
OR maybe weapons with a different function for example: pistols are ones that shoot fast.

Like a great sword or claymore and spear for melee.(because there are already Hammer like weapons just like Thwack Hammer.)

A shotgun or maybe sniper and bow/crossbow for guns.(Auto-Gun and other guns have different functions)

I just like to add variation to weapons.

Danger Mission: Lunar Inspect

Haiya!

The Cradle has got a Moon by it, doesn't it? Why not to make a danger mission where we build a rocket and fly there for inspection? It could look like that:
1. Lunar Inspect-Rocket Research - in the first zone, we go to a kind of deconstruction zone, where we have to get all the pieces of rocket together. They will be locked alongside with encaged Knights.

Little Shield Suggestion

You know how when your shield energy is depleted, the shield becomes utterly useless? Well I have a minor suggestion to fix that. We could have the shield act like the Mecha Knights shields when the energy is gone: only able to block from in front. Now I know I'm probably going to get a bunch of posts saying "no, this is stupid, raw raw raw" or "this will break the game even more than it already is" but I'm just throwing things out there. If you want to see a worse thread, maybe check out some of the dual wield threads or maybe even a "remove auto-target" thread.
