I'm going to go drown myself in a jelly cube (very hard to do, btw).
Literally laughing out loud and groaning at the same time right now.
Ok, so I email the man who taught me Java (he works at Google and developed his own toolkit and everything. he's pro). I asked him about what to do and he said that it would be pretty stinkin' complicated, which I discovered after about an hour of failed experimentation:

So yeah. We gotta figure out a better solution. I'm thinking of a couple of things, such as using what we do know about the anagram (there are no j, q, x, or z's) and do some quick scans of everyone's work (I will build a program for this and send it to you, Tev). In any case, its kind of going to be a race for numbers.
Just as an admonition for everyone else: don't waste your time on this. Yes it was my idea - admittedly a bad one, now that I look at it (20/20 hindsight). Do what you can and don't waste your time. There are better things to do in life then scouring the SK wiki for every Vog-forsaken word in the world.
For example, I spent 30 minutes and sent in 100 phrases, including:
- Tev's Great Big Contest
- Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm out of mist, so can I get ten from you?
- Guns should not have wings *cough* Argent Peacemaker
They all work, and no you don't have permission to use them.
Anyways, yeah whatever. Go waste your Vog-forsaken lives. I'm going to build a Java program to test your crap.

EDIT: You could also make it so that one invalid word makes the entry DQ-ed. It's cruel, but it will force everyone to test their work for quality, slow them down, and make the judges' lives easier.

Yay! ^_^ My first entry :D Sorry if its a bit long :P (for the text box I mean, I don't know how to make a forum page :\)
The entry is supposed to be humorous, as I've seen there seems to be a lack of in the fiction category of this competition, and it seemed like a funny idea to write about...Here it is :D Hope there aren't any grammatical/spelling/formatting errors. :(

THE SNIPE
"Ugh…" I groaned as I tried to push myself up from the floor, shielding my eyes from the sun. Whoa…Where am I? I thought to myself, as I looked around, missing the sound of the snipes' wings beating the air, only realising it was there when it landed right next to me.
I gasped with shock, immediately getting to my feet and reaching for my sword, then coming to my senses and noticing it was only a bird. It was bright orange like autumn leaves, and its eyes were and dark black, in contrast to my light turquoise ones. "Aw, isn't that cute," I said to myself.
It makes sense that I was completely stunned when it opened its yellow beak and squawked in a very birdlike fashion, "I absolutely hate it when people call me cute!"
Now openly staring at it, my jaw dropped to the ground. Almost literally. In response to me it then said, "I don't understand why people are so shocked when they hear me speak. Ugh, some people."
"Uh...So…" I started tentatively of which it immediately replied "Just get on with it!"
"You can...talk?" I asked.
"Well obviously I can, I thought we established that already!"
You can tell that my first impression of this bird -which I had no idea what was- is not exactly a very good one. I must have believed it a very impatient and conceited bird.
"So, what exactly ARE you?" I tried.
"You impudent and ignorant girl. I am a snipe, the holiest of all creatures of this planet!" Definitely conceited, I thought to myself.
I eyed it curiously, not believing that a bird of such a small stature would hold the title of 'Holiest creature of this planet', this planet must not have many then, I theorised.
"Oh, on the subject of this planet, where exactly am I?" I enquired.
"You are on the planet of Cradle, shipwrecked and all alone…" It said rather melodramatically, putting one of its wings on its chest and its head pointing skywards. Perhaps a drama queen as well?
"Well, except for yours truly. And some other trifling, unimportant, insignificant, petty, especially petty," the Snipe remarked with a haughty voice then continued "irrelevant, annoying, stupid, meddling. The list could go on, and on," it sighed.
"Also, I forgot to ask your name…"
"Are you expecting an answer?"
"Well ye-"
"I'm sorry to say -though I'm really not- your expectations cannot be met. No one addresses me with anything other than Your Majesty."
"Oh, that explains it."
"Explains what?" The Snipe looked indignant, at least, as indignant as a bird can look.
"Oh, never mind" I sighed and tried to brainstorm ideas of what was actually happening:
So, first, waking up in this strange planet which was apparently called Cradle? What a curious name.
Second, meeting this bird who claims it is the "Holiest of Creatures on this planet". Like I believe someone so self-centered would be named this.
Third, oh wait, I forgot that it could freaking talk! Anyways, third I am alone except for this bird, well, at least according to what it says.
My circumstances don't look too great do they?

The-Knightwalker, if you want to reduce the amount of repeated text on this 13th page, there's an edit button at the bottom left of all your posts. Click the Edit button and then delete all your word. Replace it with something like "oops! double post, sorry!". That will clean things up considerably.
Also, go to the "Forums" button up on top. Click on the Treasure Vault folder (because that's where fanfics go). In the top right, there's a button called New Topic on the top right. You can post a link to it here from your post there.

@Knightwalker: Thanks for the entry! I'll add it to the list. To clarify: if I have to merge categories due to lack of entries, it does not count toward your "One entry per category". So if someone already has a drawing of some various clockwork creatures, and then submitted a gremlin drawing but was the only one in the category, they could both be judged in the Artwork: everything else category.
Unfortunately, being the judge, I can't give feedback on any of the entries, considering that anyone may make edits to their entries up until the end date.

Tev, friend, I suppose such is rather obvious. However, if I'm not mistaken (I often am, so I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't correct), the Java IDE compiler is different than the Java Runtime used to run games, watch videos, and the like.
EDIT - It appears that I have something close to a Gel Core for a brain. .class should solve it. My very bad bad.
Also, while I previously thought that the Java program could regenerate the .class file on its own, I might possibly be mistaken. I have emailed you the .class file, which goes in the bin directory of your workspace. My apologies if this is what's been causing the problem the entire time. >.> <.<

Now I know for sure I won't be winning the "Short Fiction" category T_T
Anyways, really good entry :D The name of the fiction, being mysterious draws the reader in. Another thing that adds to the quality of this piece, though somewhat common, is your capitalisation of the first letter of the word "time" makes it seem like something godly, or just someone/something that has a lot of influence on things, which I take was the point?
I would like to ask though, the poem at the end, is it written by you?
If so, I have to ask, is the "Something inside this heart has died, You’re in ruins" supposed to be the same person/character in the story?
Also (am I being too harsh a critic? >.> ~ <.< ~ >.<) the second paragraph could be divided into two parts, though it is your work, so it might have been intentional as it is supposed to fit under the "How did it get this way" caption...(p.s. The part of that paragraph I thought the new paragraph might start is right before "Now he sits, day after day, in the Haven square" as it isn't too related to "How did it get this way")

@Oatmonster - Yeah, I realized that after I submitted it. I did the first ten at one point, and then the last 90 later and forgot that I had it there. So... 99, not 100. On one of them, I meant to put 'ftw' but it says 'fwt' as well. I'm ok with daz stuffs.
