They all have to do with Spiral Knights in one way or another. The answer itself may not be directly involved with SK, but with the question, it is.
One Down is actually directly from the game. The clue is an allusion to the description (there's a clue? where?).
What I'm not getting is Two Down because I can't think of what the second word is - so many things seem to make sense and fit, but none make me see it as a pun...

Well...
Sorry I didn't get to try the contest last week. I didn't even enter a mini contest because who could beat "Philososnipes"? Latisan deserved that one. School is driving me up the wall.
So here I am sitting on my wall, trying to use the keyboard. It's extremely awkward, and then using the mouse, too? Forget it! Curse you gravity! XD
Anyway, I'd like to say nice work to all of the entries. You guys are awesome. This is the first time that I'm legitimately a part of a gaming community, and I'm now realizing truly how creative everyone is. Incredible.
I've also given up on my post title: "1 sheep... 2 sheep... 4923 sheep...". I'm just too lazy to type it in every time :P, especially when I post from my mobile. It was an inside joke anyway that only a friend of mine and myself understood, anyway.

Really, I don't want a prize or anything, I'm just seeing if you guys would like it or not.
The phantoms were getting quite boring now. Even though there were literally dozens of orbs suspended mid-air next to the striker, he showed no signs of excitement anymore. The graveyard had become his entertainment; half because of the buckets of crowns he could collect from the dead (a very immoral decision, tisk tisk), and half because he could satiate his sadistic impulses. Torturing these violent souls had been his only form of entertainment, ever since he had reached the Core. He wasn't going to stop now, not ever. If there was a purpose other than to be a mercenary for the bastard "knights", he would've been spending his time in the asylum back at the home-world. An orb suddenly expands, and a phantom hits the ground running. This one in particular was his favorite, mainly because it seemed to return to him every time he entered the graveyard. The phantom looked like it was building up tears, desperate to free itself from its hell, but the man in white would not tolerate that. No, he easily dodged the swing, and literally deflected the phantasmal blade bare-handed like a rotting stick. The striker, with inhumane speed, only knocked the phantom down with a shoulder tackle. While the spirit tried to stand up, he leaped onto its arms, pinning it down. He only giggled in excitement, for he had never toyed with a spirit before, not even the same way he did to Vanaduke. Slowly, with great relish and savor, he lifted the helm off of the phantom. A feminine face was revealed, sobbing and angry at the same time. He only grinned and pulled out his Acheron, slowly making tiny scratches on the ghost's face. He then lifted the blade of madness with some strength, and proceeded to bring it down. It was by a matter of milliseconds when the striker's hands were severed from his body. He didn't notice, not until his right rib cage was snapped clean in half by Triglav's charge attack. He was too broken to even stand, and he only laughed like a madman when the golden light radiated from the guardian. The giant blade shattered the striker's weak armor as it went down. The sound of rent flesh and pummeled bones echoed throughout the cemetery, followed by silence. The phantom stared in disbelief, the orbs ceased to vibrate, the air become denser. With a spit and a stomp on the already-flattened corpse, the guardian walked on, uncaring that he had killed one of his own. The phantom fitted its helmet, now cracked with misuse. The sound of the elevator broke the silence, and the screams of the striker's tormented soul now filled the air...
