It's still broken! I decided to read through my databanks trying to find anything to help this.

Malfunctioning shielding can cause the shield itself to vanish, putting the chassis at risk of damage. If something strikes the energy shielding during a malfunction, it may be possible that the shielding will burn everything in a short radius, drastically raising the chance of an overheat. Repair is nearly impossible, without replacing armor.

Hmm. Overhearing the Fallen King, I decided to correct him.
"There is no such thing as a pirate king. There is only a pirate captain." I told the Fallen King.

((I should clarify. You use only one Heat Level for things like Speed and Ease of Use. There's simply a cap on how many times you can take it (resetting each level), to keep people from rolling 12-Combo-Speed Sudaruskas.))

"The pirates' captain is operating a good distance away. And if what I've heard from Nalki is correct, they're after Mist Energy to jump-start their ship... something to do with getting a reward from 'Morai' for the discovery of the Isorans on the other side of the planet. I suspect they've crash-landed, same as the Isorans."

"You'd think they'd farm the energy themselves, but nooooo." Nalki sighed, rolling her eyes. "They try to steal it all. The Refuge is a Quicksilver-infested scrap heap as it is, and then pirates show up..." Nalki looks over at Ignem. "I WISH we could take these jerks alive. We tried, but... well, the Torchbellow Clan is short on fighters, and it's tough to subdue something with five arms."

"Ah, Plumbing Access. Nalki, this is it." Nautilus opens up a hatch, and a little water leaks out.

"Eugh. You know what's in there, right? The... plumbing. And you know... what goes into the plumbing."

Nautilus comes as close to grimacing as a cycloptic robot in a diving helmet can get. "One... must make sacrifices for the good of Cradle. Nalki, I'll maintain communication via that terminal... MSC-517, correct?"

"Yep, that's the number." Nalki starts operating the computer, while Nautilus gingerly lowers himself into a flooded roomful of piping.

"The rest of you, watch her back. I'll be out as soon as possible." Nautilus shuts the hatch.

Nalki looks toward the Machinauts. "All right, keep an eye open. Say, you guys might wanna have a few attacks Charged, just in case something DOES show up..."

(Introducing: Charge Holding! What's Charge Holding, you ask? Well, if you've got nothing to fire a Charge Attack at, or for some reason don't want to fire as soon as possible, you can hold your charge attack until a later turn.

If there are no enemies, but you're allowed to Charge, you won't Instacharge, unless the attack has a delay like the Bottle Rocket, or produces a field effect like the Haze Bomb.

You can also use lulls in the action to activate items like Health Capsules.)

Machinaut Name: SEE-4 (Search, Extrapolate, Exterminate)

Personal Colors: Pale red (Main), Cyan (Trim)

Preferred Fighting Style: Very cautious; typically wields guns, but knows how to use bombs. Sometimes joins the fray later than optimal. When it cannot reason with its foes, SEE-4 focuses on direct damage.

Other Information: A fourth prototype created in the creative process of a mysterious creator, SEE-4 slow and careful. Despite having its memory scrubbed, it still clings to its original behavior pattern: Go in, get the scientific data, and get out in one piece. Because of this, SEE-4 is constantly aware of its surroundings, and tends to put a dark spin on them.

Being one of the Eternity Terminal models, SEE-4 has been built in with some knowledge of how to use bombs. It is slow and precise, making SEE-4 ineffective in sword fights but a deadly gunfighter. It can speak in binary and English. SEE-4 values Freeze Resistance above other resistances. Since SEE-4 is a prototype, it lacks many of the abilities of its newer relatives.

Stat requests: Moderate preference of Accuracy over Reflexes.

"Right. Can ya patch it up?"

Nautilus chuckles. "Of course. Initiating submarine repair procedures..."

Nalki shrugs. "Guess I shouldn't be surprised. But... man, you were gonna work on a submarine!"

"Who knows? I still may work on one yet."

"All right. I'll mark the other leaks on your radar... WHAT IS THAT NOISE?!"

In the distance, far out of anyone's range, a lone red eye gazes toward the Machinauts. From afar, the voice says...

"Buried alive. Buried alive. Buried alive. Buried alive..."

"Because THAT doesn't sound insane. Or... creepy..."

Then four Slimes drop from the ceiling! (Well, three slimes, one Klepto Whelp, but... yeah.) "Aaargh! Well, THAT'S not annoying!"

"Buried alive. Buried alive. Buried alive."

"Nalki! Am I required up there?"

"No, no! These guys should be able to handle this!" Nalki looks back at the computer. "Prove me right, guys!"

Cobalt did not register the strange sounds, but instead honed his attention on the oncoming enemies. Poison seemed to be the greatest threat, so he aimed his bomb at the Toxigel. The new machinaut alerted him, but he quickly realized that was a good thing, hopefully better than whatever was bothering Nalki.

It was only then that Cobalt noticed the eery crimson eye. Instinctively, he stepped towards Nalki, but outside of his programming, he did not know why. Was he scared? Worried? Could he even feel those emotions? He didn't bother wondering.

I had a small sense of being watched, but I didn't know what it was until I looked around and saw a crimson eye. I stepped back a bit, before looking back at the Artillyp and tossing my Bottle Rocket to it.

(( Somehow , i get the feeling that in turn 9 - 14 , a freaking big boss that is too op to kill will show up. And we have to stand our ground and try NOT to die , until nalki is done doing her business. of course that is just my theory , a random theory. ))
