Post your biggest fails here.
When I was new to the game, after buying myself a Beast Basher I started to buy the recipes for and craft the 2* "Kozma" suit (the typical stuff that's always available: Calibur, Blaster, Cobalt set; no bomb). My friend bought me an Owlite Shield before I made my Defender, and I used that in the meantime. I thought it was ugly, however, and it didn't fit with my Cobalt Helm and Armor so I totally disregarded it and raised my 2* Kozma suit to 4*. Thank goodness for the awesomeness of the Calibur, or else I probably wouldn't have been able to do it. I only realized how much better the Owlite Shield series is than the Defender series when I had all the materials, crowns, and energy for the 4* Great Defender. I was itching to finally get into T3 so I made that shield. The 2* Owlite Shield is still sitting in my arsenal.
Also twice already I have accidentally alchemized the first recipe on my list (Calibur) instead of the one intended because I was so eager to have the item.
As for revives: I did spend 155 energy in a failed solo of the Roarmulus Twins (whom I was able to solo the day before and the day after that try, both times with 3 revives), and not long after I could get fairly deep into T2 I tried the RJP with the friend who had bought me the Owlite Shield. We did not have ANY knowledge about what to do, though, so when we finally made it to the Battle Royale, we found ourselves running around the perimeter, shooting only one of the regenerating blocks to make it to the next "cell" and trying to kill the jelly cubes that were chasing us. We weren't really able to dent the king at all. Fortunately we realized how hopeless it was and didn't waste anything on revives.
One mistake that corrected itself: last night I was trying to get Hardcore and Gold Survivor solo [all my previous T3 runs had only been material gathering in stratum 5, so I had never actually seen the Core], and got a graveyard in depth 26 of the King gate. Not wanting to die, I ran to the end without touching the zombies. The next depth was either an arena or a clockworks tunnel, and I didn't want to go through such deep an arena (I am only 4*). I find myself coming up to the elevator surprisingly fast (there were no gates where you had to kill all the zombies before continuing), but unfortunately it displayed the arena symbol. I was waiting the elevator, but the phantom spawned in the area and I started kiting to avoid any damage. To my horror, I accidentally kited myself to the elevator, and had to go through the arena. Luckily for me it was just a poison construct arena, so it was simply a matter of avoiding retrodes, using the charge of the Ascended Calibur on the puppies and scuttlebots, and waiting out the poison if I happened to get hit. I made it through with much more ease than I'd have thought (the danger level was red for the first time in weeks), and was able to wait out the elevator to depth 28 until it was a Deconstruction Zone, where I cowardly ran through without laying a finger on the gremlins. Tonight I did the exact same thing starting from depth 0, except instead of accidentally going to the arena I purposely went to the arena, and attained Cradle and All and Dauntless Diver.

I was using Divine Avenger at ths time (and I'm a gunner yeah I know) and had no elemental gun because I was leveling the DA's to lv10 heat.
A partner and I both died at a T3 graveyard level. He paid for my rez because he felt I was a better player. Soon after trying to reach the other guy I was met by a phantom and 3 zombies, shieldpush failed and I ended up getting hit three times and die again.
Our party was kitted with 2-4* equipment, and we were happily romping through the grasslands (to snarbolax), when suddenly we heard a clicking noise. GUN PUPPIES! Annoying but no biggie. Oh wait, what is that they're shooting? MISSILES? OH GOD WHAT
First time we had ever seen rocket gun puppies, and that was a prompt wipe.

I shield bumped an attacking tree then ran into the attack.
Biggest fail is not being able to create the most ultimate weapon / armor set in spiral knight!

I just obtained T3 access two days ago, and using the mist tank right away I reached The Core in the same night. I started paying a friend's elevator cost half-way through, I didn't use the mist for revives. So you see I know how to play the game.
Then the next day I decided to try to solo Roarmulus Twins. Before that I mostly run Jelly King for tokens, and had only fought the twins twice, both times in a party, and I was never the dedicated switch hitter.
I reached the boss level without dying. It took me some time but I was able to bring down the left Roarmulus to the bomb-dropping stage. But then it got more and more difficult... I found the boss never malfunction again for me to hit.
I kept fighting on... slowly but surely, I was stuck in a war of attrition and my health dropped gradually. I even submitted a bug report about the boss never become vulnerable.
Then a friend logged in (I have few friends in similar time zones), and I found the time to ask. He told me I need to let them shoot each other in the mouth with rockets... turns out I did that to one of them without knowing, but when it started moving in the second stage, I couldn't do it accidentally anymore.
I looked at the time... I spent at least an hour in the boss level. I was so tired and felt so beaten up learning the answer, I returned to Haven.
I guess this at least proved my ability to dodge...
Spaghetti and crusader take the cake in my opinion for biggest fails ever, mainly spaghetti. However crusader was quite bad also.
I only spend tokens on trinkets if i have decently more than 100 primal, and I end up making 10k cr off of it cause I have enough primals for the mats I need.
As for reu, seems like you had an alchemer, which could get you out of a situation like that. You shoot the alchemer downwards to an angle and the second shot will shot back towards you in a different angle enough to hit the blue block.
No energy wasted, no fail required.
One of the plus sides to the alchemer sets. They can get you out of situations like that, whcih no other gun can do.

Uh...
Noobowns, you could have made a ton more buying a lot of monster bones.
In The ah, put 50 of em up. SB 8k CR B/O 15k CR
So there us a fail.
Just saying.
As for the Alchemer, what on earth do you mean?

Or you could have done it with buhy tails or even better, the now useful unstable cores.
1.1k*20=22000
i never said anythign about monster bones or bushy tails. what r u guys talkin about?
NVM, i see what you guys mean by your comments now.
Well then, I put in my fail for application for biggest fail yet. Though I do nto think i beat spaghetti or crusader.
I was waiting to craft my Grey Owlite shield so I unequipped my Wise Owlite. Waiting for 100 mist energy, a notice pops up in Haven. As I was advertising some recipes, I thought it was some random person so I accepted it. Turned out, it was an invite by a guildie to a fiend area and with no shadow defence or shield, I had to just kite the entire level (not fun with no shield) not to mention the level was almost finished (why invite me at that time? :<). I was fuming.
Common fails would be in AH where I'm in a rush and I don't work out my sums properly and end up selling things for way less than the cheapest buy now price. The biggest fail in this area though was buying a Grey Cowl recipe for 26k Cr thinking it was a Grey Owlite Shield recipe. Ended up selling it for a big loss as I had no crowns left.
in the first room after the elevater in auora isle 2 i belive, with all the gun puppies and chromolisks. i was pretty beat up from the last floor, so i had about 3 pips of health left. i walked on in, got shot in the face and lost a pip. so then i go into a frenzy and start trying to kill everything, works out pretty well until i get a puppy next to a crate. so i charge up my temperd calibur and unleash hell on it, opening the crate and instinctivly attacking whatever pops out. turns out to be a love puppy. that dies in 1 hit. my first love puppy, and i killed it. than a chromalisk walks up and kills me.
fail 1- killed love puppy when low on health
fail 2- killed by regular chromolisk

I hereby list my unfortunate fails..
1. My first try at T3 happens to be a Shock arena before the Quiksilver nerf. I enter the premises, I step on the party button, I get punched in the face by a Quiksilver, I leave the premises.
2. This fail is also in an arena. Everyone dies and of course, I decided to show off and solo the arena. After clearing the area of everything besides a Gremlin Healer, I start bragging to my friends and before you know it... karma decides to pay me a visit via Gremmie Healer. He walks up to me from behind and gives me a whack on the head and I drop to the floor, dead... :P

Giving my friends about 200kCR worth of Swords, Armor, & Equipment, only to realize that they Quit days after I give it to them...
Spending 40 CE revving on Jelly King and having him die at the exact same second
Solo-d JK for the first time with 3* stuff, died when he was melting. Rev was 40, so I just waited for my bro to join and revive me. Alt-tabbed, then when I went back to SK, I was in the Haven.. =.=
Mini Jellies are evil little Ninjas. 99% of my deaths in JK fights are do to them, while the king does no damage at all...........

Getting hit by a Fire-mechknight in an arena , forgot to put my shield up.
Put my shield up, died of fire damage. All under 5 seconds of stepping on the party button.
And then on this Ice Wolver level I somehow got hit by fire damage and got the fire status. Died thinking WTF?!
Busting over 2K CE on revivals against the Royal Jelly...only to give up at the end.
... Yeah. Not doing that again. Ever.

Wasting 1500cr on a proto bomb when i first joined. :P
T3, beat up a mob with only a hurt *running away* mender left, i had 4bars life and 3 full'ish heath pokeballs, figured i'd go for the mender INSTEAD of taking a pokeball incase he dropped hearts, he shield bumped me onto spikes~

did a jk run and it costed 300 ce to revive me and 1200 ce to revive all and i DIDNT beat it.
When i went to join a party, the party already went down the elevator, so i got stuck on the level. Then i got kicked and it was a whole pitch black screen, no loading :( wasted 10 ce
went to FSC without my shield

LOL.
I went to FSC earlier today without my DA.
/cry
lol pro! i never bring my DA anymore cuz i usually use my Polaris :I
I played this game.
not really.
Well....
-I kept carrying people through Vanaduke even when I kept telling myself I'd stop.
-I ran Vanaduke with BigfootM.
I sometimes craft stuff for people for free. I'm usually left scrabbling for what I can get afterwards. I give away free materials, and ce sometimes. Mostly to noobs and friends.
My biggest fail? Well... today I went to the AH to buy a spiral demo helm. But instead of bidding on it, I accidentally clicked on buy now.
I lost 3100 cr.
/cry

1. I did all my knights in the Clockworks in order of left to right.
Of course, when I reached my first knight I was out of energy. Sent at least one bug report, then figured out that ME spanned all knights of one account. (It might have been that someone told me, but I doubt it.) The next day my report was replied to:
"ME spans all the knights of one account, as does CE" or something similar.
Normally I'd be in a rage, but it was a confirmation to my guesses.
That was months ago.
2. In T-2, there was a gate (this happened today) with an undead stratum before the jelly.
I told myself I'd learn to switch equipment at Terminal, put on Shockburst Brandish and Skelly Shield, went through Terminal, the next thing I know I'm being battered by jellies and finding it harder to kill them because I forgot to switch.
Again.
Will I ever learn? Or will I find myself having to use Twisted Targe even through the Undead/Other stratum?
Oh, I forgot a part of 2. A few minutes before the second run, which was the one with the Skelly Shield, I went to depth 11, forgetting the FSC expedition of the day before, and using my Nightblade.
When I reached it, I realised that it was an undead, and worse, whoever it was had left, leaving me soloing.
All attempts to invite failed, so I boldly continued, activating an easily destroyed Mecha Knight, spending 5 energy (a lot to me) and getting over halfway through, including a clash with four gun puppies, before some zombies showed up towing a Silkwing (where I used the energy and mecha knight) and even worse, it was a freeze level.
I. Hate. Freeze.
3. This one is stupid, and often found. Someone offered to craft something for me, in return for materials (and possibly cr). After giving mats, and I was wise to take away a 4*/5* mat, he vanished.
I remember posting here stating a different fail of mine, and saying something about other people having the biggest fails. Well let me say I officially take the cake after tonight.
I am about to do a vana run, and I am chilling in the terminal, with a friend of mine, a friend of his, and some random person. I have red bar lag btw, but I am only using mist energy tonight so I have nothing to worry about when it comes to wasting energy even with lag. My friend decides to put on noob costume on, and for the sake of a joke, I join him in it. Everything seems fine, but I tend to be catching fire a lot more than usual. I think it is just the lag catching up to me.
Later on, I realize I have a purple eye in the corner of the screen, and am wondering why I do because I never do anymore until the core. I check my outfit, only to realize instead of equipping the sallet as a costume helm, I accidentally equipped it as my regular helm instead of my vog cap.
Yea, I think I have the worst fail here now.

Nice fail but mine is still pretty bad. Selling a max shadow wolver cap for 15k CR?
Btw I sold it to hollafamer. I remember now. WAY back.

had a lot more fails. forgot most of them. heres some
1. Remeber in my eailier post about buying the super blast bomb recipe for 4.5 k? i traded it for jelly mail (worth about 2k.). i stil have it.
2.sold my cobalt helm when i got my magic hood. shoudv'e kept it. need it for jk runs.
3. few weeks ago, did a run, ended up at dark city plazamonium at the final battle. then realized no shield or weapon equipted. fortunatly, there was another guy to kill things for me. lucky me.
4. did jk run with other dude. entered red carpet runaround. had to leave and save mist energy for brother to use. we both died. acidentally pressed revive all instead of return to haven. busted 120 ce and me. had to mail 80 ce to brother. about 150 ce down the drain.
5. equipted snarble barb (now twisted snarrby) in jk run. fortunately had khorovod or grintovec as well.
Man that all musta sucked.
My teammates had a pretty bad confidence fail once.
I was doing a JK run with 2 buddies, and we got to the boss stage. We came up with our plan, then attacked. We all pretty much did our own thing, only co-ordinating vial attacks to help out. Eventually, they both died, as did I a while later.
I got pissed, then revived once and ran to attack in my normal pattern. After a few minutes, I still had most of my HP, my teammates started screaming at me to revive them. One even said, 'Psych, rev us, you're fighting a losing battle.
Next thing he says is 'nvm.'
Then I realised I had just killed JK. Proudest moment of my life ^^. In SK anyway.

So once I was herping around in an undead level with a firotech and a fiery vaporizer. Expecting all the healers to be Wings, I was surprised to come upon a Mender. Both my weps dealt elemental. I activated a mechie to help kill the mender but then a zombie leaped on it and bit its head off. I had to go back to Haven and get better equipment. FML
Also one time I was herping through a devilish drudgery and a teamie shot a row of explosives when I was right next to them. I died.
Also tried to run RJP w/o shield.
Also bringing Super Stun Gun into lower T2.

Was in an arena with grem scorchers they weren't attacking for some reason so my friend reved me and then what do ya know they let it rip and shot me.

1. Died on the spikes leaving an arena with no enemies left. Done that at least twice one time I was new with a guild master, the last time I was solo.
2. Was slumming out by the auction house in proto-gear. Got an invite to an arena with a message that said need help quick. I joined thinking I had "costume" proto gear. Showed up to see two corpses that I quickly joined.
And then there are the other numerous non-remembered fails.

I have a vague memory of making a CTR Med Haze Bomb and selling it for the price of a normal haze bomb.
Yesterday I went AFK for a bit in a construct arena, and was tricked into doing the third room because I thought it was the second. And most of my party was noobs. >_< Wouldn't have minded if it was the gremlin arena on the last level, but I wasted 6100 on reviving energy because I needed my Bark Modules. Whereas if I hadn't I could've finally gotten my first 5* recipe.
Was told by two friends to accept an invite to IMF and go solo so they could come. I then invited them, and they said they wanted to come at the boss elevator (I was at the beginning.) I was a total noob then, and they assured me that I could solo it to the elevator. I died nearly instantly, and one friend came to help me. He later informed me that the whole thing was planned, a prank, the other friend's idea. I forced the other friend to pay me for the CE it cost me though so yay me :D
Oh. Big time fail. I realized I was a Gunslinger after I already had non-battle style oriented 3-4* armor. So later I'll have to start over with Gunslinger gear. XS
One time I was invited to IMF. I accepted, not thinking about my gear. I had just finished playing a game in AT with my friends and... I had no shield and only a Punch Gun for a weapon. Yay. So they let me do the switches.
Now that I look at it, most of my fails are IMF-related. o_o
Edit: Just remembered another one. Was playing Blast Network, had one mist energy and some recipe CE. So I decided to throw the mist energy into the bribe meter, which was at 0. So I clicked the button once, and suddenly it filled and I had 24 less CE. I pressed fill it up instead of add 1 energy. >_< IIRC it was 3 coins to every player though so good reward.

ugh, this just happened a couple days ago. I feel like such a tool.
I'm doing some mat sales in AH after burning through most of my mist, thinking about how my CE I'm going to need to buy for these two item's I'm building to 4*,
INVITE! I look where he is..
FSC!
yay! I never get to go there! I fix myself up as a bomber, neglecting the heart trinket and adding the Mad Bomber onto my Vog...
10CE + 500cr later, I'm surrounded by 5 slags, 2 trojans, and 3 dead players.
AWWWWWWWW it was a rev run. I manage to get one guy like....8 bar of life from my pitifully small HP band before I'm trashed. that guy immediately dies too. I wanna be a good player, so I buy a CE rev at 40, get hit again, give someone 2 whole hp bars, then die again. I feel bad, but it's obvious I wasn't gonna get anywhere either. these guys were getting tooled. I leave and log off.
Come back in a few hours and restart the mat selling...
INVITE! Okay, JK. No problem, I can solo this stuff.
I head down, still in bomber gear...rev run again. :\ Well, i do it, and we continue on. We make it to t16, and at the top-right gate I hit a lag spike, and get pummeled by dem Lumbers. I now watch as the rest of the group die on spikes or from doggy bullets. I get pissed again and use my last 20CE to rev myself...and I lag right into the spikes and die. There we all are, getting spiked. Nobody's hitting the rev button.
I realize I'm a tool and leave.
Lesson learned, however. Don't casually hit the join button anymore, even if it's someplace easy, your team will kill you faster than you will.
-I ran Vanaduke with BigfootM.
I lol'ed at this.

new fail!!!!
in blast network, suicided bajillions of times because i was to stupid to move after I planted a bomb. i just stood there like the bomb was not there. have no idea y.
another one a long time ago.
was about to do an arena. noticed one of mai friend doing a jk run. or so i though. i left the arena and joined mai friend, where it turned out he was somewhere worthless. i wasted a perfect oppertunity to get lots of phat lootz.

When I was fairly new to the game and didn't really know how anything worked, I bought a Great Defender recipe from Kozma (god knows how I had 4000 crowns). Needless to say I had no idea which shield lines were good and which were bad: I thought piercing defense protected you from being one hit killed by certain attacks due to the description of the Mega Magnus. In fact, I recall thinking the Great Defender was some kind of armor. (Yes, it was pathetic. I know.)
When I finally crafted the Great Defender, I was lucky (or unlucky, actually) to get a UV on it, and although it was just low increased normal defense, it was enough to continue my faith and belief of reliability in this markedly mediocre shield. By the time finally I realized it actually kind of sucked and was more or less useless compared to other 5 star shields (with the exception of Royal Jelly runs) I already had an Aegis (It seemed to evade me that piercing defense in Tier 3 was as about as useful as a Purrfect Katnip Pouch). I had missed my one chance at salvaging my Mighty Defender by not upgrading to a Heater Shield (though, truthfully, I doubt this would have been of much use either.)
Now my goal for a new shield (which is a long way away) is the Crest of Almire. Carrying shadow protection, shock and fire resistance, and a somewhat cooler design, this is the kind of shield I wish I'd gone for in the first place, and thankfully it doesn't involve starting from a 2 star shield like the Grey Owlite does. Still, I may get the Grey Owlite Shield after all. Why? Because as of right now, I have 5 Almirian Seals. It's a tough life.

I still dont know my SK teminology
SOMEONE please tell me what UV stands for? T.T *grabs dictionary*
went into a danger room with AoA, planted, stepped on button then BAM~ oilers... i didn't die but it was hard~

Once, in the arena before JK, the fire one, I killed the last wave of Mechaknights in the 3rd part, with only my firo Mk2... And all 3 of my party memmbers dead. We continued on. At the last level before JK, I did that same trick again. Lots of enemies, wide area (relatively), kiting and Firo, All members dead, Still won.
And when we finally got to the Elevator, And got on it, And then my wi-fi dropped out. And after all that, When I spawned back... I spawned back in Haven.
I was solo'ing the Jelly King going with no deaths at this point but my shield was getting pounded. I strategically threw my viles at perfect moments. 3 pils/3psn/3curse/3stun. I was equipped with a skolver set and barbarous thorn shield for max dmg and 2 elite sword focus trinkets. Had my FoV for fire dmg on JK. I still didn't die till finally JK caved in. I had no viles left or pills, but i let my guard down for those few seconds waiting for JK to turn into juice and didn't realize i had half a bar left when a tiny jelly owned me with the big Jelly Gem staring in my face as the pop up window telling me "You have been defeated." Quite the failure.

Buying a VH ASI cutter for 12k crowns and reselling it for 5.5k CE...... wait a second..... that was awesome! (actually happened lol)
(1) With a friend on Aurora Isles in t3, friend dies on the spikes, I laugh at him and tell him that sucked hard... and when I go to rev him I lag and land right on the spikes, DEAD. lol
(2) On depth 17 in RJP and just as the royal jelly is pwned I pay 10 CE for a rev...
(3) Today me and a friend has just started a vanaduke run (we were at depth 18), and we think we are hot so we try on one of the new danger rooms. We both got owned in less than a minute, lost 15 energy on the failure run. -.-

Well, I've had my shares of fails. One being: 3T flame lash arena, jelly dungeon, never bring an ash of Agni *face palm* ended up igniting all the oliers in range, lucky I had my archeon. Another fail would be, just a week before the new price patch up I spent all my money buying uv's for my gear. Had about 50k left and decided to use it on my divine veil, first UV I got was elemental low. Didn't want that, so tried again, got shadow protection Med.,stubborn and wanted something better, tried again and got curse low.*sigh.*.one last time ended up getting shadow Med.,again. And last, finally lvled up my miracle hood to lvl 10, was so happy that I was finally able to turn it into a grey feather cowl, ended up making a second divine veil, luckily I called for help and a GM replaced my noobish mistake. Mew kat says mew! =^.^=
Lag blox!
