Full ce drop? Eh.. no thx for now... but a great idea... provides ever more incentive to be in the guild hall. I'd drop it to 5-10% of ce used in alchemy machine credits the guild's ce count... just to keep the grind going.

Well, it's been a long, long journey, with many the rejected ideas and epiphanies of glory, but to that I say:
WE MADE IT PAST THE 100TH POST!!!!!!
Thank you to ALL the contributors who made this possible, and special thanks to Sev, Drac, Hexzyle, Triplescrew, and all other major contributors who helped mold this idea to what it is now!
Everyone deserves a good pat on the back! ^^
Don't stop there, though, keep adding! Keep thinking! Keep doubting, criticising, debating! We shall see this through!
End-of-Post Note: Sorry Sev, I suppose that was your role as the owner of the thread to post this, but I felt like usurping that role for a quick minute. You can have it back now.

My friend, if you took out all the superfluous text, your mini-walls of text would be quite short. But I, for one, enjoy your random ramblings and irrelevant suggestions such as levels after Vanaduke which has nothing whatsoever to do with Guild Halls. I thought we established that the missions system would be implemented into the Guild Hall, but specific missions were a little bit out of the scope of this thread? lol
You're welcome to expand on your ideas for a later thread though...
Now then...
I thought we established that the door to the Guild Hall was a physical place, in that one part of Haven that has been discussed (Where's a screenshot when I need it?). Also...what is this Coral you speak of?
@Post#2 (100th Post lol): I'm with Skold-The-Drac, maybe only a percentage. 5-10% may seem a little low, but with 75-100 Members, you'll end up having too much CE pretty quickly.
End-of-post-note: Sure, take advantage of my broken finger, just go right ahead. Post 2 more times before I finish this post.
~Sev
![Mwahahaha's picture Mwahahaha's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose1.png)
@ Sev:
I do quite realize that my mini-walls of text would be quite midget-sized in comparison if I happened to take all the randomness and incessant rambling out of them, but where's the fun in that? They just make all suggestions seem so much more interesting.
Of course, that's a rather personal opinion, which is coming from a knight who thinks that reading all posts with the above type of humour in a British-esque accent would produce hysterical fits of laughter for those fond of that sort of thing--but that's beside the point. As always. Right. Moving on.
Right you are Sev, I'll keep a notebook full of ideas for later implementation when necessary; no need to carry on elaborating on an idea that readers know will come in later when it is mentioned in the OP.
We did indeed; I was simply re-emphasizing that we have. In respect to the portals, I suppose one should suffice, with multiple locations with which to 'port to (selection menu could be present when one steps in, asking to go to Arcade, Bazaar, perhaps even Advanced Training Hall).
@ Post 2: I was going to reply, but had to move to a different location; reality is annoying sometimes. I completely agree with the percentage remodel, however I do believe that 5-10% is very low indeed. As always, I have another suggestion:
What if the amount of CE deposited in the GV from crafting were to vary depending on the item crafted? That way, if you were a small-time SK knight among others like you, and were crafting, you wouldn't have increments of, say, 1 CE coming into the GV per crafting performed.
End-of-Post Note: Well, if you insist........-waggles fingers, impish twinkle in eyes, wide grin on face-

If I read all your posts aloud in a British accent, I would likely be experiencing my own hysterical fits of laughter. Unfortunately that'd take a wee too long.
A menu for the portal. That's a good idea. Duly noted.
@ Post 2: As always indeed...
That's a nice idea. To have a ratio for each (*) of item. ALSO, if you crafted with Mist they'd have to somehow make it so that it didn't go to the Vault...I'd think anyway. That'd be like generating CE out of thin air.
So...something like:
1* (25 CE to craft): 20 CE Added to vault.
2* (50 CE to craft): 40 CE Added to vault.
3* (200 CE to craft): 100 CE Added to vault.
4* (400 CE to craft): 150 CE Added to vault.
5* (800 CE to craft): 300 CE Added to vault.
Just some examples, not necessarily the end-result.
End-of-Post-Note: ....I'll just do this for you.

Portals sounds too high tech for Spiral Knights. We use elevators to get into dungeons, and the whole place has a steampunk design. What can we do with that? There's got to be something...
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
Gremlins are behind it. No, really.
The Knights didn't make the Clockworks, the Gremlins did. It is pretty clear based on our equipment that we have superior technology to "Steam"-powered items and such...since we have/had the ability to travel through Space, synthesize items that shoot beams of light (I mean, really...what?), etc.
I don't think Portals are too advanced, but since we didn't build Guild Halls EITHER (presumably), maybe we can work with your "steampunk" ideas.
We could just install a Willy Wonka elevator to the Guild Hall, and say it goes all directions, so it takes you to the Bazaar and the Arcade. lol :P

Sounds like a plan. I wonder what that would look like.
![Nacho's picture Nacho's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_mob-clerk.png)
There should also be a small corral with little cows.
![Orangeo's picture Orangeo's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_item-mob.png)
First off, I want to credit you for giving credit to other people. And +1.
" Only the Guild Master may purchase things from "Rudkin". "
Multiple guild masters? Even mcdonalds was started by two guys. That, and having one guild master seems contradictory to the "Democratic Inspiration" mentioned.
"Bulletin Board Idea #2" Seems like a guild forward button/reply function for the mailbox. +1 for sure, but that seems like more of its own thing.
Lastly, I have an idea for the display case. Why not display actual gear? Kind of the next level of full inspect. Getting arcane salamander max curse soon, and I'd love to have it sitting in a nice glass collecter case, on one of those wooden heads the accesory removal merchant has. After all, I'm not going to wear it untill I get my very high shadow UV arcane salamander suit. Hopefuly with prismatic dragon wings, and....
See I could drone on. Precisely why I'd dig gear display in the guildhall.
And another thing I'd like to submit, is guild crests on sheilds, and more guild crest types. Why not crests on sheilds? I'd assume that would have been in the first comment. Plus, why not just allow all of the elevator logos in? Like the crown, the pawn, the knight, the lion, the eagle, etc.
![Mirtsmak's picture Mirtsmak's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-coat4.png)
I wished it was possible to make all of the ideas come to life, but sadly that would a lot of work to do, i agree the hall needs more, its like they just adbandon it all together.
How about adding a juke box?
or its personal PVP area?
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
1) Hold on a second while I read my own post. LOL. ----A representative will be with you in 95 minutes. *elevator music*
Oh, so you're saying I never mentioned that a second Guild Master (promoted by the original) would be able to purchase items from "Rudkin". I meant that whoever held the rank of "Guild Master" would be able to do that. I'll edit it to make it more clear.
2) Well, it would likely reside within the Guild Hall for one. Also, #2 and #1 are practically the same thing, but in different formats. Finally, the Guild-exclusive missions system would (or could) exist on the same board. So it's a bit more useful than that.
3) There'd obviously have to be more room for one..but it's not a bad idea. With limited space, people may resort to "reserving" spots, which could be a bit annoying...so I'd suggest having maybe a rank limit. Or, since you're not actually physically *placing* your gear inside the case, merely displaying it, Guild Masters would be able to remove it (or its hologram). Tell me what you think.
4) Crests on shields? Neat idea..but it may make certain shields look identical and indistinguishable (Aegis/Crest of Almire).
I'm not sure where you read that there weren't all elevator logos? I meant in the OP that there would be *ALL* Elevator logos, except for the ones you could unlock. Not so the ones you could unlock would be the only ones...lol. Maybe I can edit it to make it more clear on that point too.
@Mirtsmak: The OP contains a personal PvP area, actually...and what do you mean by a jukebox? Like a sound test?
@Nacho: Hmm...I'll think about that.
~Sev
![Hexzyle's picture Hexzyle's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_mob-puppy.png)
Do like the idea of a jukebox. I was sitting in the town square the other day listening to random songs
(cough) random song link (cough) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ5LpwO-An4
And I was thinking "Man it would be awesome if everyone here could hear what I'm listening to, so that they know where the random crap that I'm /zone-ing comes from"
But that's besides the point. Being able to change the song playing in the guild hall would be pretty neat, even if it was just the songs in the game.
But if it wasn't...
Create a knight called "Makarov"
Create a guild
Play song on jukebox: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaQM8IXkykc
Proceed to invite matching player names to the guild.
???
Profit.
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
(I have no volume on this PC atm)
I'm once again, assuming he's talking about a "Sound Test" area that would let you play any Spiral Knights Track within your Guild Hall. I'm not sure if that's what he was suggesting or not, and as long as I'm unsure, I'm not going to put anything up on the OP.
Still waiting for Orangeo's reply to my post as well.
~Sev
![Hexzyle's picture Hexzyle's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_mob-puppy.png)
Ok then I'll suggest it. Have a jukebox similar to the one in Animal Crossing where you can choose from a list of songs in the game and have it playing as the background music. Perhaps the jukebox could require 5 crowns to change the song, to discourage players from repeatedly switching it back and forwards X) Re-re-re-remix!
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
AKA Sound Test. :P
Sounds like a good idea, but it'd be sort of odd to go to the Guild Hall and hear Battle Music or Boss Music, don't you think? Especially since Boss Music tracks are like 30 seconds long, and would loop incessantly. lol
~Sev
![Hexzyle's picture Hexzyle's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_mob-puppy.png)
Well then let the player choose how many times the song loops, up to a maximum of 5 times, 5 crowns per loop. Once a player has spent 25 crowns on the machine, they can't select another song for the next hour.
I know these are minor details, and you don't have to add them to the OP, but just thought we could discuss little things as well.
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
I don't mind adding them to the OP lol. Minor details are always nice, but where would the Jukebox be? Would it be like a machine that you Right-click near it and it brings up the list? What would it look like?

Well, you seemed to have taken a lot of time writing this, and let me just say I love these ideas for the most part, however, in the past it hasn't really seemed like the devs really listen to us very often, so I wouldn't get my hopes up any of this would ever be implemented.
![Korakc's picture Korakc's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-hood4.png)

Yup, if you read the entire 1st page (Which I doubt since most people can't even read the entire OP), you'll see that I don't have a lot of faith that it'll get implemented, but I have some hope and a lot of confidence that there are some good ideas in there.
@Korakc: That's what I'm sayin'! Thanks for support :)

I'd like to see some tools to help guild administrative works:
1. Better Security Controls
Guild Master can designate what access rights each rank gets.
e.g.
- Guild Masters can reserve the right to appoint new Officers
- Veterans can invite, but only Officers can promote
- New access rights should be defined for other new suggestions in this thread
2. Logging
A log that Guild Masters and chosen ranks can read. Currently invite/promote/demote/remove actions are instantaneous, and doesn't leave any trace of who performed it (perhaps only to those online when it happened). I've heard of horror stories of an Officer gone rogue and kicked everyone else from the guild, or officers taking contradicting actions (one kick, another invites back, without any logs/proof of who did what).
3. Export functions, or listings where you can copy from.
e.g. In guild hall you can get a text box containing the current list of guild members, their ranks and join/last login dates. You can copy the text into clipboard for use in elsewhere (e.g. guild website or forum)
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
You, sir, are my new best friend. ;)
@Evilnut: I truly appreciate your contributions, but the majority of your ideas do not have much to do with the Guild Hall. While they may be very useful, this topic is specifically enhancing the GH.
To point 3): Where would you receive this text box from? Like, perhaps under Guild Options, Guild Masters would have a Guild Management page? But that also does not apply to the Hall. Maybe to fit it into the GH, it could be an additional tab to the Bulletin Board? For the proper ranks only, of course.
~Sev
![Evilnut's picture Evilnut's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_art-box4.png)
"@Evilnut: I truly appreciate your contributions, but the majority of your ideas do not have much to do with the Guild Hall. While they may be very useful, this topic is specifically enhancing the GH. "
Ah... I imagined the way to implement those functions are by adding objects in the guild hall. Like those bookshelf you can find in Candlestick Keep, or those devilite office desks and books. Those models are already around, might as well put them in the guild hall...
But yeah, perhaps they could be added as new options in the "Guild Options" menu... I'll go stick those in a new thread.
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
Bookshelves....:P........Stupid devilites. xD
Good luck with it! :)
Side-note: Apparently people like the Jukebox idea quite a bit, so I'll add it to the OP later. Not much time at the moment.

Everyone wanna be a jukebox hero. Wha's wrong with that?
Jukebox = ME GUSTA!!!
I also suggest the above song be put in the jukebox :D
Edit: Should have put a /joking tag on the last sentence
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
Hey now buddy don't go too far out there with this stuff. As far as I know, OOO only has the legal right to play their own creations in there. I kinda doubt they would put anything else in there, whether for legal reasons or just because it doesn't really promote their own game.
EDIT: Jukebox is officially on the OP.
@Your EDIT: Yeah I sort of figured but I don't have my speakers on so I wasn't sure what it sounded like...USB Speakers can be both convenient and inconvenient at times.

Thanks, my friend from Scotland. Let me know your synopsis once you finish reading it. :)
@Skold-The-Drac: Don't see why not, as long as you make sure you have a decent amount of them before just posting a thread with like 3 links. :P
~Sev
![Skold-The-Drac's picture Skold-The-Drac's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_item-statue.png)
Just look at how this originated! You had like 6 suggestions at least sure but now it's a wall! 3 links is... ok... for a thread like the one I'm talking about. XD
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
Um...I think this thread is an exception...it was pretty large to start. xD
It was probably like half the size it is now..which isn't too small. It is a lot better now though, I think even that troll Alphacommando wouldn't have anything bad to say about it now. :3 Skyber also contributed to this idea by drawing up an illustration. Props to him for that.
3 Links wouldn't be bad I suppose..but no less than that I'd say. Maybe with short little descriptions on what exactly they are. :P
Off-topic: Does anyone else notice that even when there are unread topics in a forum, unless like the whole first page is unread, the forum won't say "New"? Just a lil odd.

![Ztype's picture Ztype's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-jel3.png)
Why not offices for senior guild members? Also why not create you own ranks?
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
Not exactly sure what you mean by "offices", a literal office or a position...
Creating your own ranks is something I suggested on a different Guild thread, this thread is about the Guild Hall specifically and so creating your own ranks is a little irrelevant.
~Sev
![Mwahahaha's picture Mwahahaha's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose1.png)
Good to see that the thought process has continued in my absence. A huge pat on the back and a couple mugs of root beer (pretty sure most individuals in this forum are underage) to those who kept this thread going!
@Sev:
As a pre-note: Do read with a British accent; I believe I wrote this post with that purpose in mind (mind you I was rather hopped up on cold Tylenol and orange juice--a bad combination--when the composition of this very post was underway).
My apologies for not being present (in writing) in this thread for the past while, but I was (and still am) under a large pile of assignments that refuse to get up off of me until my hand stops attempting to light it's obnoxious arrogant backside with a hot poker, some gasoline and a match (in other words, a makeshift Fang of Vog--yes, I realized I need a break from playing SK). Again, good to see all the positive feedback!
I do realize this is a little late in coming, but here goes a new idea:
It came upon me one wintry night, sitting in a lonely computer lab at university (bored of looking at the same page for the past 4 hours), to take a peek at the SK forums to see what new ideas had been cooked up as of late and came across a perculiar post that mentioned a bookshelf.
Of course, having looked at educational material without pause for what seemed like decades, I immediately felt the instinct to, as one puts it, ragequit and hibernate until July, but my creative senses came to bear and an interesting idea came to mind.
Now, before I get into the intricacies of this idea, let's step back a bit and look at a few background ideas.
For all those who are in a guild, you all know (or at least have a somewhat of a clue) that guild members come and go; some stay, loyal to the guild and it's members, others stay but leave in a hurry as they are afraid that the only girl in the guild will hunt them down and give them cooties.
Regardless, when someone checks the 'online guild members' tab under the social button, one may see a variety of names, but with one exception--majority of them are labelled simply as members of the guild, regardless of their skill or experience in the game. Now, if you were looking to find someone to join you in a Vanaduke run, or plow through a Jelly King run for fun, or even mooch off of because you're too lazy to go into the Clockworks and make your own money (which, by the way, is much faster than hanging around the Auction House waiting for a random passersby to throw you the occasional green shard or crown), how would you know which of those members could help you without either individually talking to them or guild chatting and hoping you get a timely response so you can at least complete your goal before you miss your bus/burn whatever you're cooking/fall off a cliff?
Well here it is: What if there were to be a bookshelf (or object of sorts) that could help you do that, and possibly quicker?
The bookshelf would hold information regarding the status of each guild member; for example, if you looked up a guild member, you would see their username, their position in the guild, how long they have been part of the guild, how long they have been playing SK, their average activity per week, etc.
In this way, one would be able to find members within their own guild who would be more in favour of their interests, and more able to help. It would also decrease the chance that, upon inviting a number of guild members, a new knight would accept your invitation to help you out in defeating Vanaduke, and consequently throwing you into a fit because two others did the exact same, and you have a party full of 'Proto-knights' save for yourself.
It's quite entertaining to watch really; I wouldn't say the same for participating though.
Let me know what you think!
~M
Superfluous text?
What superfluous text?
--Mwahahaha
![Severage's picture Severage's picture](https://forums.spiralknights.com/sites/default/files/avatar_selection/sk_kn-rose2.png)
Yeah superfluous text, thanks for defining that for me.
Anyway, while I do agree that that could be quite a useful feature..I also have to say that traveling to the Guild Hall to check, then ask specific people, could get a wee tedious. Although the current system (Whispering and interrogating/"Joining" to inspect) is a lot more tedious, I'm not sure how useful it'd be to have to go to the Guild Hall.
Still, neat idea..Darn Devilites and their bookshelves.
@This statement "...if you were looking to find someone to join you in a Vanaduke run, or plow through a Jelly King run for fun...":
Actually, I do Jelly King runs much, much more often than FSC...because strangely, Jelly King runs have a higher payout. The only reason FSC would have a higher payout is for the recipes, but then again, it's harder to find a (cooperative) team in FSC. So, now you know why I do JK much more often.
BACK ON-TOPIC:
According to Skyber's illustration, he...for whatever reason...put in a Rec Room area with sofas and bookshelves, now, that just screams "DEVILITE!" to me. So, this idea fits in with his illustration. Not that we're trying to fit our idea into his illustration, it's rather the other way around, but your idea just reminded me of that.
So, in a nutshell, it'd be easier, but not super convenient. I think if you could just do the following, you could do it easier:
Guild Tab V-
Guild Member 1,
Guild Member 2,
Click Guild Member 1, and you'll see the options: "Tell, Invite, Join, Ignore, Add as Friend, Profile".
Click Profile for Guild Member 1.
Information: Joined [Guild Name]: 12/15/12. Joined [Spiral Knights]: 10/08/12. Tier Clearance: Shadow Lair Level 2 Clearance. Language: English. Timezone: GMT+X/GMT-X, etc.
I think it's a tad unnecessary to have it within the Guild Halls. Might wanna suggest the above on that other "Guild Administration" thread or something.

My dear Baodur,
Thank you kindly for the compliments; I would like to point out though that creativity is welcomed, I'd rather not be mimicked......takes the originality out of other's posts. Just a thought. The humour was much appreciated, regardless.
@Sev:
It's not necessarily punishment if one simply happens to type rather fast and delightedly....the burning of the fingers is an unfortunate side effect; I'm sure my fingers don't mind when they're done producing a rather interesting idea for others to see. They'll waggle it off. If not, I need a new set of fingers. Any offers?
On a back-on-topic shift, let us get back to the books. So to speak. No pun intended, of course.
I do agree that perhaps the profile option under the guild tab would be a nice addition, but I believe it might make a nice addition to GH, to have an interactable (if that is a word) object where one could leaf through the records; perhaps not just to find a knight to help complete a Jelly King run, or a Vanaduke run, but I suppose it could be more of a.....well, for lack of a better description, Guild Info Book .
Along with information about the knight, one could add photos to the book; for example, a time where you came across a blue Soul Jelly, or found an impostocube...perhaps a time where you swung your sword and somehow got it stuck to your head, and so had to walk around like that for the run, unable to use anything but a shield...moments like that, yknow?
It's an idea in the making, so any input is welcome (as long as it isn't along the lines of flaming the idea then running away, afraid to get arrested for arson)!
Good reading!

lol.
Okay, I hate to mention other MMORPGs on this forum, as I've stated before, but that really...really sounds like the "Adventurer's Log" from RuneScape. Whenever you find something rare, or defeat a boss, or put up a photo, it's logged in there. Basically, a personal event feed (Which is already in the game, just across all friends/guildmates).
Honestly, my mind is void of ideas for it at this point. Sounds like a solid enough idea, if you meant for it to be a personal event feed. Unless I misread it and you meant that you would only have your Screenshots of when you found an Imposto, Soul Jelly, etc... As in, take them yourself and upload them yourself.
@Serell: Thanks. =]

We have so many suggestions, comments, topics(this is the best topic in my opinion) about guildhalls and a game master never post something so we can discuss what they can do to improve it...It s sad...what should we do to hear us...:(

Thanks for that, and I agree (Although I didn't know at the time of making this thread) that there are many, many Guild Hall threads (Or were) that deserve attention. Let's hope OOO wasn't just trolling the Suggestions forum when they put up the Feedback Poll question "Would you like to see Guild Hall customization?".
@Canine-Vladmir: Probably because I'm not 18+. Haha. It would be an awesome job otherwise. Thanks for your support. =]

@Sev:
I've personally never touched Runescape, or any other MMORPG, to tell you the truth; SK is the only one that I've took time to play and liked. So, I'll take your word for it that the log still exists. Regardless, I still think it would make a nice addition. After all, who DOESN'T want to laugh at the one knight who was insane enough to challenge Lord Vanaduke in proto gear (if they defeat Vanaduke in proto, it's even more memorable)?
@Thorfinns: Thank you very much! Your feedback is graetly appreciated! :) Although we have heard of no response from OOO as of yet, we're still keeping positive! Both Sev and I (as well as all the other major contributors, see main post for full list of acknowledgements) hope this will come through! ^^
@Canine-Vladmir: I'm sure many others ask themselves the same questions, but I'm sure that if OOO wanted someone to be a GM, they would have spoken to them. I must admit though, being a GM would be incredibly amazing! Thank you for your support, your comments are always welcome!
To any new readers, as well as previous posters: keep contributing, keep critiquing! Hopefully these ideas will reach OOO's ears! May Eurydice be with us! :D

Thank you Drac, your comments and suggestions are always welcome! ^^
I still need to work on my speed typing, it seems....
