They don't need to comment, have a little faith in the developers
there is so many good ideas, this being one of the best i seen in awhile, i would like to see improvements, etc. pay 100 ce to put blinks in your gh. or 1000 ce to get different fighting envioments (ice, fire, earth, shadow)
rofl.
@Hexzyle:
Oh, that kind of shotgun..anyway, yay for links.
@Alienf:

Its just a Iadder for scammers imo
Explain, please.
The Vault's sole purpose is to avoid scamming.
~Sev
Someone might invite 3 to 4 peopIe into the guiId, give them high hopes, and then when they contribute and make the guiId prosper, he kicks them :P
And, if they cannot be kicked from the guiId, then someone may contribute just 1 ce for a guiId upgrade then prevent himseIf from being kicked.
Anything invoIving money and sharing is a Iadder for scamming in my openion. If there were no scammers, i wouId definiteIy give this a +1
Well, let me address this...
What you're saying is that the money is donated, already used, then the donor is kicked? Naturally this would have to be after all upgrades are finished, otherwise it's not in the Guild Master's best interest.
So, once the Guild Master gets what he wants, he kicks the donor, ruins his reputation, can't invite anyone but new players (Which can't get scammed thereafter), and basically destroys his guild.
The only plausible reason for a GM to do this is if he's going to be in a Guild by himself. With which, most of the Guild Upgrades won't be useful to a single person.
The Vault's log tracks how much people donate, not just who donated, as is specified in the OP. Donating 1 CE will make you look a little dumb (Not to mention it states in the OP a minimum of 10 CE/100 CR is required).
Although, your post does bring up a point to me. Perhaps I should make the Log visible to everyone? That might cause other, smaller problems, but it'd allow members to see "Hey...this GM isn't donating a penny and we're all putting everything we've got into it". That'd be a sure sign of a scammer, or an extortionist at best.
I'll add that last part as a suggestion addition to the OP. Thanks for your input. =)

Ive met a Iot of crazy peopIe who wiII do anything to have a better guiId than others. Imagine, a guiId Iike.. suppose, "GuiId" has a IeveI 5 guiId upgrade and a dude who has scammed has IvI 20... Its kinda annoying. And there are aIways IoophoIes.
And your weIcome :)
At any rate, the prices aren't very high for each of the upgrades. Scamming would basically be hurting your reputation for no reason.

This thread has been alive for so long, i don't renember if i have posted here.
I know its lame when people only say "+1", but that's really all i have to say xD
so...
...
...
+1
I was chilling with a new guild member yesterday, and I noticed something very interesting.
The platform section that overlooks the clockowrks, not only does it have a 3x3 space on it, but on the minimap it has that coloured square chunky stuff around it that is the same as the elevator on the minimap at the end of a level when you're not in range to make the elevator icon appear.
Colored square chunky stuff? Sounds tasty
Holy c***, you must have your heart in this idea. Everything looks spectacular, all except the guild elevators. This makes it feel like you need to be a part of a guild to participate harder areas of the game, whereas some like not be in a guild because they don't people of the guild nagging them to come help them revive. Like I said though, I support the rest of your ideas completely.
I love your ideas, there is just 1 thing. If you look at the suggestions page there is a lot of them and the developers cant obviously read all of them. I suggest someone copies what you said in the first post and try find a spot for it in the actual 3 rings or Sega website... It has more of a chance then. well thats what i think.
well I was dreaming about guild training area or guild own battleground itself should be perfect!!!
"Within these records lie personal information (Not that personal, it's not a diary) of each Guild Member therein. For instance, upon clicking the Bookshelf (Or whatever interface it uses, probably the Action button), you would see a series of books. A window that would contain, in alphabetical order, books with all the Knights' names on them that are in the Guild.
Once you have clicked on said book of whichever Knight you wish to view, a little bit of information about that Knight would appear. Furthermore, there would be tabs at the side of the "book" interface which would allow you to switch to different tabbed sections. Allow me to illustrate.

Serell has an idea :O
What if.. we could also edit our profile book?
I mean... it would show all the achievements and crap... but if we could also write our own Bio?
Just describe ourselves a lil bit to whoever is reading :3
But only you and the Guild Master would have the power to edit your own Bio.
That's not a bad idea. Though I don't think the Guild Master should be able to edit someone's Bio.
Maybe in the autobiography section there'd be a "Report Bio" for obscene language or other reportable content...but the GM being able to edit doesn't sound like a wonderful idea.
I'll add in a page for an Autobiography after I'm done playing WoW then.
~Sev
Dunno, thought it would be funny if GM could edit everyone's Bio...
Chaos... chaos...
You know... no... that's a bad idea... Don't know what GG would say about me if she could change my bio o_O
Well, a report bio button would be nice i guess :3
Judging by the table of contents on the first post this hasn't been said, but i didn't want to look though 7 pages to make sure.
What if there was a crest/badge, next to your guild name, that said what rank you were in said guild? Kinda like the prestige badges, but (hopefully) a different design. One for Recruit, Member, Veteran, Officer, and Guild Master. Not only would it be a small perk when you get promoted, but it could help people know they are talking to someone that has the power to invite you into their guild (Officer and Guild Master)
anyone else like the idea?
That idea hasn't been suggested, and it does sound good. Allows people to know who's boss in the guild :D
I like the idea, though it belongs under Guild Improvements, as this is strictly Guild-Hall related.
Aside from that, where would the rank go? It'd get kinda confusing if you had two ranks side-by-side, especially if they looked similar.
Maybe Rank is to your Name as Guild Rank is to your Guild's Name?
~Sev
"Maybe Rank is to your Name as Guild Rank is to your Guild's Name?"
That's exactly what I meant ^_^
Sorry if it was unclear :P
I think all of that is an extremely excellent idea!! I would like to see all of the above from the OP implemented at some point in the future. :)
Added to my Guild Improvements thread. Thanks!
@Nepthys:
Thanks for the support!
~Sev
"Once banned, visitors may not enter the Guild they were banned from for 2 hours."
This isn't enough for a persistant troll. The ban should be extended to indefinite, just like the ignore list. Should the banned players be visible on everyone's Social Panel? Perhaps have a "View Guild Details" option from the "Guild Options" button, that displays the crest, name, description, members (probably not necissary) and banned players.
Oh, and since this thread, I haven't seen Mwahaha and his fiery fingers of typing fury...
I'm sure there's a reason I put that in there...maybe.
I think I tried to differentiate "Kick" from "Blacklist".
But we could always do a blacklist.
Updated.
Also, I haven't seen Mwahahaha online at all (He's on my friends list) in a long time.
~Sev
I didn't look at every single post, so this may have been mentioned already, but how about the ability to design your own logo for the guild? Also, I love the ideas. +100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 to the power of infinity.
Woohooo!!!
Not sure how much my thread helped but...
STILL WOOHOO!
Looking at those patch notes...Nick's outdone himself this time. All 4 of those bold-print titles are very appealing. I haven't logged on SK in a while (Playing WoW), but I might come back for these.
Relevant to my interests.
~Sev
Well. Well well well.
My mind has been blown.
Assuming that this thread helped--congrats to everyone who put effort into this idea!!!!! ^^
Guess I should start playing SK again--haven't touched it for months.....
~Mwahahaha
Oh--almost forgot.
Hexzyle and Sev....miss me? xD
Fear not, my fiery fingers of fury are back and faster than ever!
~Mwahahaha
"The only thing better than a sharp sword is a sharper wit."
He came up with and filled out on so many ideas on this thread.
Due to the sheer amount of data he contributed, I only linked to his first comment on each page. (The majority of his posts were at least a whole screen's-height long, and even though I've read this whole thread, even I had to skim over some of what he said to prevent brain damage)
Permission To Spam Thread For More Pages Untill Devs Notice It?
:D?
@Psychodestroyer:
For some reason, I feel like I should be insulted--but then again, I guess my prolonged absence makes it hard to remember whether or not I've been here before.
Nevertheless, do try to keep up--no offense intended, of course :P
@Hexzyle: I think I'll take that as a compliment; I do suggest, though, that you browse the posts again--you might find, amongst the fury of typing madness, ideas or mentions you had previously missed.
@Eviloddish: That's really up to Sev, but personally I say permission denied--It's great that you have such enthusiasm for the ideas in this thread, but I'd personally like to keep the integrity of the thread as clean as possible. Yes, more pages equals more attention, but I'm pretty sure that (if you'll allow me to use an analogy) we'd like the visit to King Krogmo's Treasury rather than the Dark Lord Vanaduke Multiple Clone Test Chamber.
Savvy, mate?
~M
Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. When I read through Sev's guild threads, I usually just scanned through, having a lot of work to do in school and all, and being a bit pushed for time.
So I didn't notice your name, I apologize for my ignorance.
Mk I haz idea :3
Could you have Guild Member Of The Week/Day? Like, how much CE they contributed?
I was thinking there could be tokens awarded if you earned that place, but thats goin far, but maybe you could change the colour of yo book if you become Guild Member Of The Week? Or you could at least have a SHINNNYY badge.
Just a litttle idea, sorry if it has been posted or its rubbish >.<
Impressive! I like this whole guild hall stuff. It is pretty boring in there truth be told. We need furnitures and decorations in there! I'm with you 100% on this one. Heck, make that 200%. Also, guild sparring? GENIUS! Maybe it needs a guild shooting range @_@.........I like the whole guild vault thing. That is pure awesome.
BUMP!
How about being able to purchase a guild pet - like a mewkat or whatever, that runs around the guild hall!!!
Snipes/Gremlins sound fine, since they're already in the code, and could be in certain guild themes. But I don't think that idea should extend much further than that.
This is post 301. :]
Anyways, I think that we should record guild hall threads in the OP. It'd be a nice sort of petition of sorts. Kind of.
