I said it before but i dont like the fact that this thread that has so many comments and didnt take a response from a GM.I dont say to make these changes but discuss a little with us to see what is it possible right now..Instead they developing different style of wings...It is sad because u see what is their priority...U must rename the suggestions to trash because u dont even read them...
Guild Hall Upgrades - Fully Updated (Seerusly).
Somewhere around June of last year they decided that they had a large enough player base so that they didn't need to post on the Suggestions; or, they just weren't as important anymore. I think like up to 5-months after the game's release, suggestions were posted on a lot by Devs.
Anyway, they read them from time to time, you can see that from the Gunslinger armor set buffs that are goin' on right now. For whatever reason though, they have decided to post on them very uncommonly (Though Nick commented on 2 suggestions a few weeks ago).

Great idea, but does anyone know if this is going to be implemented? I really hope so i love the idea :D
I don't know, but I bet half the community wants it =/
Come on Nick, you know you wanna! at least give us a yes or no
Be reasonable. This thread has been up in the suggestions forum for ages, is huge (i mean six pages huge) so obviously one of the devs HAS read it, as for implementing it, it's extremely likely, seeing as the guildhall is rather useless and barren, they must have SOMETHING in store for it.
Developers usually just comment when something is under confusion.
This isn't confusing, it's dead obvious it's going to be implemented. All we can do now is wait for that day and continue refining our ideas....oh. Already refined. WAITING IT IS!
It sure would be nice to get some dev feedback on this... you put quite a bit of effort into writing it.
This suggestion's power level... eh too lazy for the meme...
Just a thumbs up for now... I'm a bit meme'd out.
Good, idea for the training hall for testing the new recruts ^^
what will be funj a PVP area to train in the guid
Great idea ^^
Really want this, our guild hall is empty and apparently useless, we might as well use the training hall instead.
+1 just for being the longest post ever created that has a valid and legit purpose.
I din't read it all, but I'm working on it!
I'm not totally sure if I read it all.
Maybe I just closed my eyes and typed.
Thanks for reading (in the future)!
~Sev
But u know whats better than me ramblein. a devs comment P.S. plus 1 P.P.S. HIDDEN BUMP
You're reading the comments? You're awesome, my good man.
So...you put "Hidden Bump" in ALL CAPS. Very discreet.
You could at least say it in the coded Bork language.
Heeden buump-a.
~Sev
Wow, I think this is a grHIDDEN BUMPeat idea Sev, awesome work.
I'm not a Buddha, so I don't have the patience to read through that whole wall of letters. I'll just say this:
I support: any efforts towards helping guilds express their individuality through aesthetics, any efforts towards improving in-guild communication and organization, any efforts toward making guilds more fun.
I oppose: giving any gameplay advantage (other than communication) or gameplay content to guilds that are denied non-guildies.
Shame, shame, my friend.
Let's see...does practicing PvP fall under gameplay advantages? Nah, that sounds like it'd fall under organization.
Do Guild Elevators fall under gameplay advantages? Hm, no, they have reduced crown rates.
I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would do that.
~Sev
Hey, like I said, I didn't read the whole thing. I was speaking in general terms. If your suggestion does not contain anything I am opposed to, then I am not opposed to your suggestion.
That said, I had some coffe and took a closer look at your suggestions and it seems solid. Guild Elevators was the only thing that could concievable threaten balance, but if they are tweaked to have lower rewards than standard gates (in exchange for the bragging rights they give) then there is no problem, as you say. I doubt non-guildes would be jealous of the ability to do harder runs for a lower reward.
I would still rank rank guild elevators as less good than most of the other ideas you got, though.
~Tilde
Guild Elevators are something I put there just cause I like doing SLs.
SLs are really fun. You get to obliterate hordes of enemies, and unlike most levels, they're a good deal more challenging. So I was thinking of some ways to do a similar "Huge Battle" effect without throwing out of balance the fact that normal SLs require a shadow key.
'Cause like I said, I've done SLs, but I've never crafted any SL gear. I just love doing them.
The only thing is that most people wouldn't do it if it had absolutely no rewards, so I just decided to reduce them (In this case, cut them in half). It's just a rough estimate on how much they should be reduced, point being they should give much less than normal.
~Sev
Just briefly skipped over the OP and realised how much credit you've given me :$ ....I'm feeling really shy now....
love it. I know where the haven to guild door would go and how it would work. And i love your different guild halls as well.
for townsquare, it would be below the crafting area with that Grey stranger. then a list of all guilds in [Europe] would come up. You could go say look at the American list but it would be separate.
How about a watery guild hall? or boss guild halls. And just a damned different plan!

A toggleable option for everyone's weapons to be able to be used in the guildhall?
No wait... that wouldn't work. An area with weapons drawn requires different programming to an area without. Plus with 20+ people in the guildhall, it could begin to get miiighty laggy.
And the ultimate lag: 100 people in the guildhall all firing away with Polaris. SERVER CRASH! :P
But seriously now. Any ideas on this topic?
There can be a mini training area in guild halls where a few people can derp around in, but no weapon use outside this area.
As Luguiru has pointed out, if many people were in the Guild Hall, including visitors, visitors could really get annoying by trollarising and lagging like crazy.
This would be the only place to use weapons, so Beaoo's idea already exists, though in a lag-free form.
Well, less lag, anyway.

About you "non guild people", namely sacrontine... the game is tied together far too tightly already for you to suggest that non guild members be saved the tyranny presented by guild only gates. Guild chat and coordination- which would exist with or without actual guilds- already break up the game for "loners". The game is based on cooperation, and cooperation will always beat out individuals. I see no reason the game shouldn't further reward players for using guilds, should inhibit them, or should not facilitate teamwork in every possible way. Not being in a guild should and does make the game a lot harder.
On guild gates:
First and foremost, a guild gate would be a hard beast to tame. It would require the guild to get a large amount of minerals, and would require them to coordinate much better than they already do in order to accomplish something more useful than the clockworks- although to be honest, I don't know what this would even mean any more, with missions.
Secondly, there is the implication of what the guild is to make in it. Who gets to have a say? Who coordinates it? Things like this could inhibit the teamwork that guilds uphold, and foster arguments amongst the members. It wouldn't all be good for guilds. On top of this is the actual construction- how would it be different from any other form of a gate, and what precisely would it do? Why would people use it? It must give SOME advantage to itself. And it would be crossing the line of fair to non-guildies if it were to be TOO good, but it would be another worthless feature if it weren't good enough.
Lastly, there is the point that single players could start their own guild of X and then proceed to play solely in it, simply to make their own gate. Compound this with my 2nd point- single players would benefit somewhat from an update like this. They'd have a harder time making it, and an easier time deciding what it was to be. And of course, the lack of guild control over the clockworks would allow for single-players to amass minerals and control those gates with ease.
"Form Powerful Guilds
Guild alliances allow greater influence over the world. Amass powerful minerals to transform the Clockworks!" -Game Features on guilds
UNLESS ITS A MISSION
Thank you for that.
On a small note, my Guild is a personal guild for true friends only, and has 3 members (with 1 reserved spot for a friend who hops between guilds).
Obviously, I don't want Guilds to dominate everything. Because then I'd be at a disadvantage. Being the creator of this, I really don't think I was just trying to make Guilds "overpowered".

i would really like to have beds in the guild hall, also i would really like tho get pets, like bechemel has that mini love puppy, and i would rreally like a table so you can have a meeting.
For beds, see "Furniture and Decorations".
For pets, see Graveyard.
For meetings...see Guild Hall.

=)
@Derpo:
Why, ty. Though half of what's up there is due to feedback responses..if I had written all that without a single revision, I might actually consider myself a genius.
On an unrelated note, I've updated the Summary (Support List), we're now at 65 Supporters. =D
EDIT: Final bump for a while, due to this.
Thanks!

Arise!
Alright, that was one word, but you get the point.
Hello everyone
I'm make more guild hall models on lego digital designer and this time they're theme. I've already started making a jungle theme. Are there any themes that anyone want to suggest?
These ideas are great, now we just need Nick to implement them! =D
Im amazed not a single GM has posted on this yet...
The only GM I've ever seen post in suggestions is Nick... and that was directly after a release.
Can we start a count for the numbers of times guild updates have been suggested?
LOL. That would be nice. And links too.
But about Nick posting on threads. Most suggestion threads that Nick posts on pretty much die out. We don't need him to post here to know that he's acknowledged our pleas. It's downright obvious that he's already read this thread. I don't know a single (regular) forum user that hasn't.
A long time ago, someone posted another thread of Guild Hall upgrades. In response, someone put up I'd say at least 15 links to previous similar threads.
That's the biggest list I've ever seen. :p
~Sev
I shotgun post 301.
Also, Hi severage.
Also, bump.
*hands shotgun*
Not sure what you meant by that, but here, take one.
...
Ammo clips are $500 a pop.
~Sev
I think he meant something similar to calling the shotgun (front passenger) seat of a car. If he's reading this and no one posts after me, he can still fulfill that claim.
Ha, yes. I showed off my /shout MANALICIOUS;
Jelly suit to him with the lovely bombhead and lil jelly crest.
I've talked to Hexzyle several times in-game. :P
Still off topic.
EDIT: Added a ToC (Thanks to Schattentag for template).
