How many people even wear their proto gear. I mean I do all the time but I don't see many others rocking that look. I was curious about the changes so I tried the new character creation and the only accessory I liked was the ribbon. My proto gear has one already and I bought it for less than 5k crs. (I also have vertical vents equipped too and so I couldn't accessorize my helm even if I wanted too). So not a big deal...
Ok, the eyes.... Eyes are cheap on the AH. What is it, less than 25K crs now for some styles? I don't obsess over prices so I might be spit balling a bit but at current payouts that's like 5.8 JK missions or 3.5 KoA missions... big deal. You could do it in a night. (I also changed my eyes already so not super interested in a freebie).
Finally, the height, it's all about the height... The really noticeable changes, extra tall/small are still out of reach for most players who don't get lucky. What is it like 2000+ ce for each? But come on, the tall and the small heights are pretty reasonably priced and sold by Vatel. In fact, at current payouts it takes ~11.5 JK missions or 7.1 KoA missions to earn the crowns to buy the height Mod. It's not a big deal... prioritize your spending, have fun running levels in the game and work towards what you want.
This change doesn't mean they hate old players, I know I had benefits starting out that new players never got. Oh heck yeah, CE hit 3k? Buy, buy, buy. Do you hear veteran players complaining about this? I crafted 4* before costs of crafting doubled, do you hear me complaining that I should have paid more? I sold a couple unbound bomb heads for a [poop] load of money. All benefits someone else starting the game now will never have. It's all about balance and perspective.
Anything that makes the game easier for new people to play leads to a more healthy and sustainable game for years to come. More people = more money = more programmers = more content...

just to re-iterate: As much as Strudul shouldn't have made an over-summarised "It is stupid anyway.", it doesn't mean you should mock him/her and rub the post at his/her face. Just because s/he says the idea is stupid doesn't always mean the person who made it is stupid.
Why not ask "how is it stupid?" That would have cleared up a lot of things. I don't get why do you all get so personal on the internet. It's things like this that makes you bullying targets.

Considering that items can be given a time limit (cake tokens, pumpkin tokens, etc.)....
And that accessories can be easily automatically mailed off to players (Pumpkin bomb bandolier, parrying blades, etc.)....
And that it should not (this is just an assumption I've come to from the aforementioned points) be too troubling to implement....
I think that it would not cost OOO any considerable resources to simply mail time-expiring accessories to the playerbase, which would be a good show of promotion of equality and fair-ness to it's loyal (debatable) playerbase. Thanks in advance, OOO.

I agree with this. I mean seriously though, I'm at tier 3 and I would LIKE to get those accessories but I'm not going to pay 50K for each change. That's basically a upgrade to a five star weapons. And I feel like a lot of people feel the same way and we probably won't buy the height and stuff for a long time but we will be upset about it
