Even though I am content with how my character looks, I do think we should be given the choice. Perhaps give current players an Item that allows them to redo their starting armor appearance/look/etc. Untradeable obviously.

Easy fix. Mail to each knight created before April 25 2012 one voucher for any of the eyes, and one for any of the heights, from the vendor who sells them in the bazaar already.

Any designer worth his/her salt knows that you don't ignore some part of the game. If you do something for the people who start, do something for the people later on. If it's the other way around, do it.
Here, both need to get this if you'll include it. You don't want to punish people for joining in before some unexpected patch.
The price tag on 'pets' is also rather absurd to me for a five day only event.
Again, that's punishing people who did nothing wrong.

Fwas the new players, I know OOO is trying to reel them in but they're leaving us out in the cold.
To be honest I rather expected this.
Also a quick search of the Rescue Camp and other new players seems to show that the more popular accessories are Helm Monted Displays, Helm Guards and Bolted Vees.
