Axis was fed up with this, it was time to infiltrate Spiral HQ. He already knew they had a select few agents in already, but it would take coordinated assaults from both fronts to break through the knights and the Morai. HE went strolling through the battlefield all the defeated knights and Morai were now living batteries for the swarm to power and feed off of. He then called out telepathically "Kazam I know you're there." "Meet me in the town square, one last fight to decide everything." ANd like that a few moments later Kazam showed up with a vanguard party. A lot of them looked pretty tough, but just like that the twins approached, along with two snake vanguards. "One on one combat." "I can't assure you this will end everything, but I can tell you killing me will be a blow to the swarm." "Enough of this!" Kazam spat. "Axis what happened?" you were a great leader in the ranks, somewhat inhumane but still good, what happened?" "The swarm." Axis replied casually. "That's it." muttered Kazam. "You've disgraced your clan, your race, but most importantly yourself." "You've lost yourself in the dark." "But you're the one blinded." Axis sneered. "The knights killed most of my friends tortured information out of the rest!" "That's it Axis!" Kazam roared. He struck down with his sword, this battle would be tide turning in the war.

((Archemiday is still in the warehouse, somewhere right? If so, then shouldn't have we seen the Valkyrie Knights, or at least a glimpse of them?))

Trivoc

The moment his Peacemaker ran out of ammunition, Trivoc knew he was in trouble.

He pulled out his damaged, Vanquisher and prepared to make a stand. Chappers appeared to still have some spare magazines for his Pepperbox, seeing as he continued firing indiscriminately.

The fact that a sudden shockwave ((The Black Death's attack) had flipped their barricades over, didn't help either.

Chappers pulled out his own Calibur and copied Trivoc's stance. "For Isora!" Trivoc exclaimed as they charged at their foes. He managed to take one down with his Vanquisher, but several more charged at him, and the weakened blade wasn't doing enough harm. The same could be said for Chappers' standard-issue sword.

More and more came until Trivoc thought that none of them would be getting out alive. Suddenly however, a strange Knight ran into the fray, carrying a Defender shield, and told them to run.

Trivoc wanted to help the Knight, but he knew that he was not equipped to deal with anymore foes at the moment, so he and Chappers made a dash for the other side of the Warehouse, just as everyone else did.

Trivoc was sitting down in a corner of the warehouse, trying to nurse the bite mark at his neck. It still hurt somewhat, but he was just glad that he was alive. [If that brave Knight ((Archemiday)) hadn't come in and got their attention, we might all be Swarm puppets right now. I never even got his name...] Trivoc thought.

Thankfully, the Void monsters decided not to give chase. While they were relieved about the respite, it was still worrying, since it meant that The Swarm had another plan for them.

Chappers was standing close to him, still shaken from the skirmish. He wasn't saying a word, but as long as he manages to keep a hold of himself, Trivoc was fine with that. Arkus was leaning casually on his Perun, looking as if he hadn't just gone through a fight for his life.

While he was observing this, Trivoc heard the flapping of wings, ad looked up to see what it was. Fearing that it might be the Fallen Valkyrie King back for more.

Fortunately, that wasn't the case. It was Ikaros who seemed to be [... Tumbling down the Clockworks?] Trivoc asked himself in disbelief. Ikaros never struck him as the "Timid flyer" type.

The pink-winged Valkyrie Knight landed flat on her butt and groaned as she stood up and moved towards Gwen, carrying several pages of... something. She had passed Trivoc on the way, during which Trivoc decided to stop being afraid and just greet her. "Nice to see you too." He said, playing on the fact that she seemed to ignore everyone else as she walked in a pained way.

"Shut- Snipe- hole." Ikaros replied. Trivoc laughed, although half-heartedly. While he was sure that Ikaros didn't mean any offense with the reply (seeing as she was tired and all, and carrying a heavy-looking document) but he had to admit that he was a little hurt by the reply to his first, casual greeting with her. [Then again... I didn't really pick a good time to say hello] Trivoc debated.

She seemed to exclaim something at Gwen in anger, but Trivoc couldn't make out what it was from his position.

He decided to approach the duo. Gwen was looking over the long document, while Ikaros just stood there, obviously angry. While Trivoc was not the best at socializing, he decided to try and lighten the mood.

"For what it's worth, we wont tell anyone else about your little 'accident' " He said with a chuckle. He then continued. "Can I get you anything? I might still have some Mountain Jelly in my pack." He added, putting his hand to his neck as the pain started acting up again.

[I really hope that bite doesn't have any permanent effects...]

((You know, you'd think that Jellies would be eaten raw, as opposed to being crushed, grinded, and squeezed into juice... That mental image isn't very inviting either ._.))

Ikaros

Suddenly i forgot how tired i was. Just those few words, "I might still have some Mountain Jelly" made me more energetic than a little snipe learning to fly. I ran up to Trivoc and hugged him, "I love you!" And backed away blushing, "Well, not literally." I thought i saw Trivoc's face flush as well, but my attention suddenly went to the Mountain Jelly can he had. I guzzled everything in there and rubbed my belly, "Thank you so, so much..." And lied down on the floor, resting.

(( well azure, if there were walking mountains of peanut butter walking around, would you eat them alive? I'd think you'd do something with them (put them on a sandwhich) ))

Axis cruelly smiled. The queen was succumbing to her wounds nicely. And with the arrival of a new knight a devious plan formed. After Kazam's act of rage, each fighter would be given 10 minutes of rest before the actual competition started. He telepathically talked to his men that were present "Get to the warehouse swarm the valkyrie. proceeded to try and control of the knight (theo)." ANd like that the twins with the two snake vanguards went to greet the new arrivals.

As my sword slashed with my alter ego, he started to get the best of me. My form of justice had been corrupted and was fighting against me. A knight had slashed a sword between us and told us to break it up. He then asked the Valkyrie what happened.((Lim, do you want me to act like I've known dagoon before, or do you want me to act like I've only seen her when I buried her?))

Ikaros

After I drank the Mountain Jelly, i sunk to the ground and lied down. Later, I could hear voices in the background. "Guys! Have you seen that weapon? It's obviously not a Spiral weapon!" I sighed and covered my ears. I needed rest. Now.

And no one was going to deny me my sleep.

Trivoc

Trivoc was confused, and so was Arkus. How were they supposed to figure out who was telling the truth.

Chappers had approached the scene by now, and seemed to comprehend the problem. "I think I have the solution." He said. Everyone looked at him. "What?" They all asked.

"The Valkyrie Knight gave the "swordlute" to this Knight." He said, pointing to one of the double-Knights. "But, this one has the Defender shield." He said, pointing at the other one. "Back at the skirmish, I saw how he saved us. He pulled out the defender, and volunteered to block the incoming enemies. The clincher is the fact that I am 100% certain that the real Knight did NOT have a Brandish. For, if he had, he would've used it instead of simply blocking." Chappers explained. "But, what if he picked it up off of a fallen Morai?" Arkus asked. "Ah, but none of the Morai fell during the fight, and Morai love their weapons so much that they would never be so careless as to drop it in the heat of battle. Likewise, if The Swarm infected them, the weapons would be forever bound to their bodies."

"Therefore, He, is the real one!" He said, pointing to the Knight with the Swordlute.

Trivoc was surprised by Chappers' sudden stroke of genius. "Well, is what he says true?" Arkus asked the two dopplegangers, and Valkyrie Knight.

((I didn't get home in time to simply point out I had made the swordlute for Archemiday. Well, I'll just say that Thrynn was knocked out by D Archemiday.))

(Sadly, Thrynn is only a Battle Sprite.)

((much like Seatus, since they were created by the Core, and anything else Core-made, the Core's stability is an important feature for them to live. If something effects the Core, their sixth sense opens up. They are able to tell something's happening, just not what's CAUSING it to happen. And Seatus is only aware of a sixth being in the Core, just not what it is. He can't even tell what family it belongs in, nor it's power.))

*Anubis floats up, energy glowing in his eyes and in the aura around him. He lifts off the ground, and speaks in a robotic voice, "Core Stability: Unusual. Strange, new brain wave activity detected. Proceed or Reject further information?" flickering blue letters appeared over Anubis' head, Reject

The phenomenon stopped, and Anubis fell to the floor.*

(( @thin: You sent Thrynn to find out what happened to Kirito. Post 422 entails both why Kirito called the Valkyrian Council "dishonorable" and why Gwen couldn't understand WHY he said that. It also shows that even bad guys usually start out with good hearts. I also thought writing it would be a good way to pass the time, since some people were semi-inactive at that time.

I sat down next to the three knights, a sprite, and a sleeper and pulled out my bookbag. "Peace at last.". I said.i took two boxes of ammunition out and put it on the floor. "Enjoy, you need it more than I do." I then set out a red and white checkered blanket and set it down. I took out six rocky cores and cut five. I handed the insides to the knights and the sprite, and put a whole core next to the girl. "Haven't had one of these in ages. Now, after saving you twos lives, I'd like an explanation of who everyone is and what's going on. And where is Anubis?"
