good letter bro
6963
Good one. Now that we are at the final stretch, we should make use of it the most. Honestly, I feel like the game created a bond between us, valiantly fighting to the end. We're gonna make history in the SK forums.
Speaking of which, which song fits the best for the final stretch:
this one, this (timestamp: 5:35) or this?
I like second one the most. But always when someone starts sharing their songs, it tempts me to immediately throw in some of my songs too. And so, I'll send one: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/193466
The number's 6965.
Somebody planned to count over to 6969. That number is about to get counted.
i can do that i know what i'm going to do
6967
I had a plan too but... There it goes. :D
It was a tiny thing anyway.
The number's 6968.
I kinda expected that, heh. So let's paste here what I was originally going to edit in the previous post before anybody responds (and I actually did it, hence the time on that post).
I got seriously trolled by reCAPTCHA on the wiki today. You see, I was going to make 9 simple redirect pages. Nothing difficult, only paste following 2 lines:
#REDIRECT [[Chaff Pack#Cool Chaff Pack]]
[[Category:Accessories]]
...change Cool to Divine, Fancy or whatever was needed, save, do the captcha and save again. Done, another page. 30 seconds at most.
But unfortunately, Google decided I'm a robot and started throwing very long tests in which, thanks to the nature of captcha tests, mistakes were almost guaranteed to happen. In the end I spent 3 minutes on average per page. Really, really annoying. Just gave up when I done the final ninth and started watching YouTube, because there was obviously no way to continue like this.
The number's 6970.
You know, I thought of making a RPG, akin to TechPlay, except it had a different plot and would be less complicated. Whatcha think? And what would you love to see in it if something?
Also had in mind to self-RPG for some reason.
I thought you were talking about making a game (.exe) similiar to TechPlay, so I opened YouTube and searched what TechPlay is. There were relatively many channels listed for a YouTube search, but no TechPlay game. So I tried to stick word "gameplay" at the end, but to no avail. I checked your post again to make sure I'm spelling it right. Spelling was correct. So I opened Google and searched for "techplay RPG". First result: Spiral Knights Forums, TechPlay - A Revamped RPG by Matikclocker.
I personally have no opinion about this. I don't want to join any RPG, I'll be only a spectator.
That Pi's song is pretty neat in my opinion.
The number's 6973.
Yes, that TechPlay.
Like, a forum RPG about crashing into a planet and trying to survive (and eventually get off the planet). Could use some more story and characters from my unspoken faraway worlds...the planet Megaton and the Vanguard Galaxy (which Megaton is part of). I will try to make it simple and have a deep story. That is, if I manage to think up of a good one.
Hello! It's half past five over here.
The number's 6978.
Meanwhile, where Nitronicx lives:

The number's 6982.
I like how simply and yet effectively it's flipped.
The number's 6986.

I'm logging my log in adventures here: https://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/120292
It's quite heart-warming to me when I see these weird and unintended things. Unless you can't do what you originally wanted. Then it gets slowly more and more irritating as you realise your inability to do anything about it.
The number's 6988.
This broadband barging in thing is irritating me now
It's like "LOOOG MEEE INNNN" and I be like "Go away pls".
Also I have some music for when we hit 7000, that is if it won't end in an anticlimax...
The number's 6991. That's pretty close to 7000!
The number's 6993. 7 numbers remaining.
Also, logged in on my first attempt, yeah!
6995 is the number. Now there's only 5 numbers left. I feel like we'll finish this game today.
Perhaps tomorrow, considering my timezone...
My final number is number 6999.
Thank you for playing.
Dang it, I was going to win steal.
The number is 7001.
EDIT: Apparently past me put some sort of easter egg somewhere in this thread and while looking for it, I found out that apparently at some point I threw some food in a box for when 5000 came. Well I guess now would be a good time to open it...
Oh...
EDIT: I found the easter egg and it's not even anything cool...
Other than the fact that we counted 1774 numbers in 2 and a half months. Hard to imagine doing that now.
If you're planning to win steal it, then at least do it in style.
In other words, VICTORYYYYY!!!
(if still counting: The number's 7002)
I mean, the whole point of win stealing is to make it as anticlimactic as possible, so...
Also, I guess I'm on this account right now.
The number is 7003.
We're supposed to be counting to 7,000 though, so isn't counting above it counterproductive?
The number is 7,002.
Well I mean, there's no reason not to.
The number is 7005.

lemme make a new topic :P
Wow.
I remember when I first heard of Spiral Knights. I think it was on miniclip that I saw it first, sometime in Fall 2011. I didn't start playing until January 2012, and from then on it became my happy place. This was my first multiplayer game ever, and I was blown away by the community. I've always been a fairly shy person, and even more so when I was a preteen/young teen. I didn't have many close friends that shared the same interests as me until I found Spiral Knights. These people welcomed me, laughed at my jokes, helped me, and guided me. I grew as a person because of the people I met and the experiences I had in this game.
I'm still in contact with many of the friends I made through this game, and I know that they're friends of mine for life. I began to become bored of Spiral Knights as a game mid 2014 and quit altogether by the end of that year. Several times I came back for short periods of time, but it just didn't feel right without all of my old friends. I would have completely abandoned the game entirely if not for one single thing...
I was a very active member of the forums... I witnessed the growth of the forums and of the community through many different events and threads and... podcasts (lol, anyone remember Latisan-Sklay?). I found my niche in the Treasure Vault initially, and the constructive criticism and advice I received on my writing there was invaluable to me for improving my writing ability. There was one Forum, though, that I really shined in in the Forum Games that I created. Yeah, you guessed it.
Gremlin Chatter.
Yeah, Gremlin Chatter was the place to go for Forum Games before The Arcade was created, if any of you remember that. I created games like the Before And After Game, the Knights Vs. Monsters Game, the Buy the Dirt Game, the What Do You Think of My Name Game, the Fortunately But Unfortunately Game, the Guess the Next Poster Game and—of course—the Count to 5,000 Game (which later became the Count to 6,000 Game, and then the Count to 7,000 Game). Both of the previous two games were very popular for some time, but it is almost comical that the one thread that I created that stood the test of time was literally just a game of counting numbers. Like, come on. Who could have possibly guessed that a thread like this would reach 143 pages? That it would become one of the (if not THE) biggest threads on the entire Spiral Knights forums?
[Side note: I'd actually love if someone would go check that for me. I can't imagine there could possibly be too many threads that could rival this one in length, but there might be one or two (maybe that really old Crystal Energy Trivia game... Question of the Day I think it was? idk).]
I started playing Spiral Knights before there were even missions, guys. I can't believe that my one single remaining attachment to this game is finally complete, because I've been here so long. For years I've kept an eye on this forum game, watching as it has developed, occasionally chiming in with random comments about the new wave of people playing it. In the past, when it reached its counting goal, I simply raised the goal. I didn't want the game to end... Seeing as I can no longer edit the OP since a little under a year ago I migrated my Spiral Knights account to steam...
This is it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
To the people here since the beginning, like Usevn, Hero-Of-Cheese, and Thowardz.
To the people who brought the game new life and even helped to manage it once I left, like Markus-Aurelius (who did so, so much for this game in general), Brother-Zeke, and Pipipipipi.
To Poomph, who was the first, true winner of the game as the person who finally counted the number 5,000, almost a year after the thread's creation.
To Falminar, who was the second winner of the game as the person who counted the number 6,000, 2.5 years after the thread's creation and 1.5 years after the number 5,000, and also (funnily enough) the third and final winner of the game as the person who counted the number 7,000, just over 5 years after the thread's creation and 2.5 years after the number 6,000.
To those who stayed with the game until its last, dying breath, like Nitronicx, Crazee-Pi-Forum (who is apparently Pipipipipi... I actually just realized that while writing this post... whoa. That's a freaking long time to stay with this thread), Ze-Epik, and Matikclocker.
Thank you to all of those people and the countless others who participated in this forum game. I grew up with Spiral Knights (when I started playing, I was 12 years old!). By that same token, I grew up with this forum game. It's fitting, then, that now, as I draw closer to turning 18 and becoming an official adult, I should finally say goodbye to my time with this game once and for all. I'm still fairly active on—you know—the interwebs, so if any of you would like to contact me or play a game with me sometime, you can:
Add me on skype at live:artistbma_1 (Artist Bma).
Add me on discord at Artistbma #0267.
Add me on steam at Artistbma.
If you do want to add me on any of the above, please like... tell me who you are, lol. I'm not gonna accept requests of people who I don't know or recognize in the slightest. Just like, tell me your IGN or something.
So, yeah.
That's about it.
Thank you to everyone. It took 5 years, but we finally counted to 7,000. And I think, in some weird number-worshiping way, we're all just a bit better people for having done so.
Sincerely,
Artistbma
P.S.: Please don't move this thread to the graveyard, GMs... it belongs in this forum.
I'm gonna add you!
On discord, I'm matik2002#2746
and on steam, I am matik452002 (nicked as 'Protonight')
Also, it's truly amazing how many time passed since the game first started. I think I first began in 2015 when I was 13 years old...now I'm like, 16 and stuff. But yeah, the road to the top is finally over and we should be proud of it!
Also Ze-Epik has decided to continue climbing up to 8000 and then to 0, but guess I will take a small break and probably think of some adventure RPG of some sorts.
Boy, I remember Buy the Dirt. I don't know why I remember that one in particular, but I do. Maybe it's because the title just sounds different or something, I don't know. I mean, "How I Broke My Knee" also feels a bit notable to me so probably.
I'm just going to put this out there after so many years of having this account that I am also Pipipipipi because apparently I like talking to myself. I'll probably go change my name in a couple of days so it's more obvious, so just in case you're reading this after I do that and are confused as to what's going on, I was Cupcake-God.
I don't know how nobody guessed it back then considering all the evidence pointing towards it but the most likely explanation is that nobody really cared.
I was a weird kid back then...
You got to give me some credit though, I was here since page 3 (although looking at it I only posted once in a blue moon for a long while so I don't know if this would actually count) so I technically was here since the beginning. I don't know why I'm still around but I guess I'm here forever.
Some of those names do bring back some memories, back when there were more than just 5 people. I think Usevnsevnsixfivfor sometimes got annoyed because I called them Use and not U77654, or something like that. Markus-Aurelius and Brother-Zeke talked so much that I made a thread just for them, and considering how much they also talk, maybe there should be one for Ze-Epik and Nitronicx someday.
There is one thread I know of that definitely surpasses this one in length, though it's just about spamming so I wouldn't really say it counts.
I should probably stop editing this post sometime, it's been nice writing whatever comes to mind though.
(I've sent a request on steam. It should be obvious that it's me.)
Dear Count to 7,000 Game,
I do not usually write you, but I have one urgent request I need to make.
You have been around these forums for a very long time. 5 years, to be exact. Actually, you had your birthday only few days ago. Since your creation, many enjoyed what you had to offer. They have made a lot of posts in the space you gave them. Many faces joined, but many left, too. Although, some do occasionally show up. Now, as you can see, it is mostly me, Ze-Epik, Crazee-Pi and Matikclocker playing. We are not as many as here used to be once. But we really like counting and that is the only thing that matters.
It has been some time since we last needed a new page. I know, you gave us many pages to play with. But all of them are now used up and there is no space left. And we are so close! Ze-Epik's last post had number 6,961, that is only 39 numbers away from 7,000. With only one additional page, we can reach our goal and maybe even have small discussion afterwards. This way, we could utilize those 11 posts that will be left over after we finish.
And so, I would like to ask on behalf of all of us: Would you be so kind and grant us one final page to finally reach number 7,000?
Thank you in advance.
Sincerly,
Nitronicx

P.S. to people posting below: Feel free to sin my attempt to write a letter. Also, sorry to everyone that was named to like counting and actually dislike it.
