Darn, Astraea is hot! xD You did a good job there. Her facial expression and body language seems to say a lot about her.

I currently have Ni-Chan drawing a commissioned version of Gwenyvier for me. I will provide Gwen's app when the picture is ready. As-is, Gwen looks really epic. I can hardly wait to display her. :D

Do you want me to do Kirito's app for you? I can try to find his original RtC app.

@Thin: Thanks for the compliment! I asked my best friend to pose for that pic, and i think it turned out nice. Shes like Astraea in many ways. in fact, I modeled Astraea's personality and entire character on her.

I saw Gwen already. I wanted to compliment Ni on his work, but I haven't got the chance. She looks pretty cool, although slightly (don't hurt me!) childish looking for her age. By that, I mean her proportions make her look younger than I'm guessing she is.

As for Kirito, I've come up with a separate application for him. This is earlier in his life, so naturally he would act differently. I'm almost done with his app, and I'll have it up in half an hour (probably)
____
Edit: Kirito's app!

Name: Kirito Sakurai

Nicknames: The Bringer of Death, Angel of Vengeance, Heaven's Wrath, *insert equally intimidating name here*

Gender: male

Age: 24

Faction: Valhalla... Or is he?

Species: Archangel

Appearance: moderate height, spiky, untidy jet black hair, and a playful smirk permanently plastered on his face. He may appear a typical boy at first glance, but his blazing red eyes bore into one's soul and suggest a far darker side to his personality.

Arsenal: Valkyrie set, Grey Owlite Shield, Divine Avenger, Combuster

Abilities: easily one of the strongest Angels in existence, Kirito's combat prowess is second only to Astraea and Gwen's. He is the best swordsman in the entire Council and has both courage and strength worthy of his Archangel heritage. He can't fly as fast as Astraea (nobody can), but can sustain his maximum speed of Mach 1 for a far longer duration of time. He is a cunning adversary and will use any tactics necessary to win, unless he deems them dishonorable. He is a brilliant military strategist and is commander of the Heavenly Legion. He happens to be a Command And Conquer addict, and, at first, he gained all his military strategies solely from playing said game.

Personality: Kirito puts on a facade of kindness, cheer, and friendliness, but although he likes people, he has only one thought on his mind almost every day of his life; to take vengeance on those who took his family from him.

Biography: Just like Astraea, Kirito was born and raised in Valhalla. He was more fortunate and belonged to a prestigious family of officials. The only people who didn't like Kirito's family were parts of the Valkyrian Council (IMPORTANT DETAIL!). He had a good life; for a time. He was always a valedictorian, awesome at sports, and an overall likable guy. That all changed when he was sixteen. One day, he walked (or rather flew) home from school and found his family brutally murdered within their own mansion. He found no trace left of the killer other than the trademark symbol of a particular family of Valkyries. (Guess what? This family is whatever one Gwen belongs to. PLOT TWIST!) Kirito was rational about his ideas; he had only one piece of proof as to who killed his family, so he had to gather more evidence. And the only way to do that is to gain power and authority. Naturally, the White Council was the perfect place for him. After years of backbreaking work, Kirito was finally appointed to the Council. However, his methods if dealing with enemies and/or working on acquiring evidence to use against Gwen's family are... Unorthodox. He was smitten at once by Gwen and the two eventually became lovers. However, Kirito had vowed vengeance, and if Gwen's family WAS the one that murdered his own, he would not hesitate. Kirito would kill even the girl he loves for the sake of revenge.

Yes, I did notice that she is a tad childish. I don't mind it much, or not yet, anyways. :P

Do you suppose it's because she's flat-chested, thin-lipped, and a tad short?

Derp herp; FIRST CHAPTER!

This chapter is more of a slice-o'-life chapter. Seriousness will come later on.

Astraea

"When the hell is Gunnr coming back?! Are we gonna eat breakfast soon? And why are you up this early, Kirito nee-san?" The Uranus Queen whined, tugging at her companion's sleeve like a spoiled child. She brushed a lock of her golden hair away from her face and absentmindedly scratched the small scar under her forest green eye. She wore a permanent playful smirk, a pair of jeans that fell just below her knees, and a blue tank top with a picture of Daryl Dixon saying, "ILL STOMP YOUR ASS!" This untidy girl was Astraea Kagayo, the young Queen of the Valkyries.

The tall boy next to her had unruly, jet black hair and blazing red eyes. He was dressed in a polo t-shirt (they were the only kind if formal clothes he could tolerate) and dress pants. A regal look about him, his eyes narrowed in annoyance at Astraea. This was the Archangel of Death, the legendary Kirito Sakurai. He lightly shrugged Astraea off and replied, "I don't know. Now would you please stop annoying me, Astraea? Besides, I should be asking YOU why you're up already!"

Out of the corner of his eye, Kirito spotted a beautiful girl with pure, silver hair, glistening white wings, and a smile that lit up his- oh, dammit, stop getting sidetracked! This girl was another Angel, and her name was Gwenyvier. She happened to be one of the few people who could get into a fight with Kirito and not be brutally beaten beyond recognition. She smirked in amusement as Kirito mouthed to her, "Help me," and snickered. Kirito pouted and mouthed, "Yeah, great friend you are," but Gwen merely shrugged.

Astraea whirled around, and, upon seeing Gwen, rushed across the marble floor of the White Council's headquarters and tackled the latter with such force that both fell to the ground. Laughing, Gwen pushed her off and asked, "We'll, someone's awake early! You usually never get out of bed before noon!" Astraea pouted and rose to her feet.

"When's breakfast? I'm hungry!" She said. She grabbed Gwen by the shoulders and shook her, saying, "Onii-san, I'm hungry!" Kirito rolled his eyes and replied, "Hush, Astraea, you're gonna wake up Takiza. And he's the only one outnof all of us who can cook something other than "add water and boil" foods. So unless you want to go hungry this morning, stop screaming!"

Astraea sighed and asked, "Okay then, but I have a question for you two." Gwen and Kirito both rose their eyebrows and simultaneously inquired, "What?"

"Where is Gunnr-chan?" Kirito and Gwen exchanged glances. Both knew how suspicious Gunnr had been acting recently, and both had their suspicions about the Valkyrie commander, but they didn't tell Astraea. Kirito simply lunged forward and rubbed Astraea on the head, then responded, "She's... Out to pick some flowers!" Gwen gave Kirito her signature 'are-you-serious' look and rolled her eyes when the latter shrugged.

"ANYHOW," Kirito announced loudly, "How about we go wait in the kitchen for Takiza, Snarby and Vanaduke, huh? Yeah, that's a great idea! Maybe we could get some snacks while we wait."Astraea sighed in annoyance but finally relented, "Okay. Oneards, men! To the pudding pantry!"

And so the trio of White Council members set off on a spectacular journey... To the kitchen.

Then I accidently the FE:A and KI:U

"C'mon Arch! If we don't get there quick enough she might die and you will fail your job as Paluntenas Gaurd!". My black tunic wearing doppelganger said, as we fought off waves and waves of enemies. Eventually, the bug trying to steal Paluntenas soul showed himself. We took him out with ease. We had returned Paluntena to her original state! I made a sigh of relief. I felt something tuck at my leg, and before I could react I was thrown off the edge the field, and I was enveloped in darkness as I watched my ally burn his wings in an attempt to save me.

--------------------------

I awoke in a field, and my vision was blurred as I heard a person or two talking. I couldn't make out who they were. Wait, who am I?

I'll consider it. Is there any particular reason why you think he should be on the council? It consists of very powerful, highly-respected people whose goal is to cleanse the world of corruption and evil. They are given pretty wide latitude to do what they want, but cannot step on national sovereignty, meaning that only the representatives of their respective nations are allowed to perform their duties within said nations. Being king or queen helps.

What does Xindao bring to the Council?

Xindao

Xindao is a last option. When the Council members are corrupt, Xindao is a regulator to all but Astraea. He is the border line between nations, so to speak. He isn't particularly powerful...but he has the Gremlins on his side, due to his time in the Core and Gwen's time out of. He is older brother to Gwen, making himself a bit noticeable. He can be an ambassador to each nation, for he believes in all equality. He doesn't abuse his power over the Gremlins, and only calls on them when he is in dire need. He isn't the Core, but so to speak he uses the Core as a communication device to the Gremlins. This is how he communicates with Tinkinzar, since the king is somewhat busy handling the Gremlins. He doesn't speak his opinion over things, making him a recorder at meetings. He also has secrets. Big secrets. Secrets that can change lives. They keep him there because of the knowledge about the Core. He believes there is another thing within the Core beside the land they came from, and the Council might need that knowledge. The question, is who on the Council.

If anyone is confused about the Gremlin-Core relationship, check the Gremlin Wiki page.

Species:

Appearance:

Arsenal:
The Masamune(or マサムネ):
http://www.cbswords.com/images/samurai3000katana.jpg

Abilities:
He is a master of more than 28 sword martial arts and wields the Masamune, a legendary sword, the ability to summon it only passed through bloodline. Along with this power, Damian has extremely enhanced physical attributes. Those physical attributes are provided by his affinity with the Holy Realm, the well of pure light, which allows him to teleport, summon solid light swords, and even run at light speed(for a very short amount of time). His sword, the Masamune, can effortlessly cut through solid metal and concrete, and he can swing the sword faster than the eye can see. As such, he has gained a huge reputation for his ease in killing quickly, thus leading to the name, 'The Graceful Assassin'. His swordsmanship skills are unparalleled throughout all the realms in the universe, and also has an uncanny ability to attract females.

Personality:
He talks in a very calm, sophisticated manner, and is very humble. He is an anti-hero, but will still save people in need. He prefers to kill the enemy instead of letting him/her live, lest they provide a reasonable explanation. He is a great friend(not to mention handsome) who will stay by your side even in the most desperate of situations. However, it is not advised to provoke Damian. Because you might never see the sun rise again. He can also make friends easily.

Biography:
I'm going to make this short, but cool.
An graceful swordsman of unimaginable power sent to create order in this time of chaos. Prophecy has it that he is an Arbiter dispatched by the Great Spirit to purge this unhealthy world from chaos.... but his true purpose remains unknown.

OOC:
Sorry for the short app. :P I just felt that making a master swordsman would be kinda cool, ya know. :P

Regarding Gwenyvier

I'm speculating that she should be a very young girl in this RP, on the order of 9-14 years old. But I really don't know. Can I get some input from everyone else about what kind of character they would like Gwenyvier to be?

@Thin

I'm thinking Gwen should either be an old teen(16-18) or an adult, so that she would have more experience and insight in what she does. Her looks would also be prettiest that they would ever be within the age range of 16-25, if those are human years. So I'd like Gwen to be a young adult, who's leadership skills are unparalleled.

Damian is unacceptable for several reasons. I shall outline them below.

1. He is registered as human. Humans have no teleforce potential.
2. If he were an angel, he would be too powerful. His swordsmanship should be limited to Spiral Knights techniques, he should not teleport or move faster than light, and he should be able to fly, though not as fast as Astraea.
3. His personality does not befit an Almirian. They are honorable folk, and abide by the Chivalric Code (unlike their Morai counterparts on occasion). Realistically, there would be variations in the population that allow for people like Damian, but we're not trying to be realistic here.
4. If the biography were allowed, Damian should be placed on the White Council.

I'll leave you to deal with these problems as you see fit. I would recommend making him an angel and toning down his powers a good deal (if you don't remove them entirely), but, like I said, you are free to modify him as you please, so long as you address the above problems.

Debating is cool.

1) Humans are, in this universe, about the same as angels. With the exception that the angels have wings, and the angels somehow have 'teleforce potential'. Anyhow, the Great Spirit can bestow upon humans powers, including one that can tap into the well of all light, the Holy Realm. At least that's what I know.

2) I don't like him being an angel. I don't want him to become TOO powerful, ya know. Teleporting short distances and moving faster than light for less than a milisecond sound like drawbacks enough. Along with one that Teleportation takes a lot of Holy energy to use and moving faster than light may cause your body to spontaneously combust.

3) Fair enough.

4) Perhaps Gwen thinks she's the only Arbiter sent to Isora, but then comes a new Arbiter, one not born of angelic blood. That would create some envy and interesting conflict, would it not?

Also, if I were to make him an angel, he would be far inferior to most of your characters. But instead of him being Almirian, do you think he should be part of the Spiral Order? That would at least make a bit more sense, right?

@Quexi: Yes, this all takes place on Isora. Cradle does not exist yet.

@Ultimaknightz: In Scripture, humans are "a little lower than the angels" (Psalm 8:5). Angels also function as messengers, while humans do not. The differences are substantial. But even if we ignore all that for a moment, the only thing that differentiates humans from angels is the lack of supernatural powers in the former. If you give them to a human, you nullify the difference, and the distinction becomes redundant.

Also, him being an angel would explain his powers, not enhance them.

I don't like your proposal for #4. First off, Gwen likely isn't even aware that Arbiters exist. She is currently within the 9-18 age range; to put that in perspective, I usually put her as several hundred years old. Secondly, having her be envious of Damian is both out of character for her and a blatant ego-booster for you and your character.

But to get back to Damian, physical holy stuff is pretty much reserved for angels. You have to work within these limitations:
*Humans cannot have magical-style special abilities.
*Angels theoretically have no magical-style power limit.

If you want special powers, he's gotta be an angel. If you want him to be human, he can't have special powers. No if's, and's, or but's.

Just like humans, not all angels are equally powerful, not even in reality (that is, if you buy into Scripture). In-story, Gunnr is weaker than Gwen, who in turn is presently weaker than Astraea. All three of them are angels. In reality, messenger angels are weaker than archangels. Cherubim and seraphim have different properties (though I don't know which of them is stronger, if at all). Balance is possible for Damian if he were an angel.

Eh...what?

I'll grant that everyone has powerful characters, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're overpowered. Also consider that the devil is in the details:

*Astraea's strongest power is her Uranus Queen mode, which seems to be a story-gimmick power that is not usable in PvP (or even most PvE) situations. Her armor and weaponry are reasonably balanced.
*Gwen's strongest power is Energy Capture, which is only useful in specific story moments (most notably the ending). She is otherwise unremarkable.
*Sir Snarble is a boss. He's supposed to be overpowered. :P
*I don't think I've officially accepted Xindao's app yet.
*Ultimaknightz's character hasn't been accepted yet.

As far as I can see, nobody except Sir Snarble is overpowered (and he's supposed to be that way).

@Quexi: Did you even read the opening post? Most of your concerns were explained there.

*Tinkinzar is a foreign representative at the council. He is perfectly sane at the moment. I am considering replacing him with Xindao.
*Sir Snarble is a foreign representative of the Snarbolax House, and a member of the Great Colony.
*Vanaduke has not been cursed by Vog yet, and thus is still human.
*According to this story's lore, Almire was initially located on Isora before Cradle's formation.

None of them got on Isora, they started there. Like I said, this is a prequel series.

Edit: it seems that the opening post did not explicitly state that these events take place before Cradle's formation. Still, I fleshed out most of your concerns beforehand in the posts that followed, and the setting (and title!) should have made it obvious...

I didn't say your character was unacceptable. I said that he wasn't accepted yet. I haven't completely read everything you've written about Xindao, so I can't make an informed decision yet.

I'm confused about your confusion. xD

*According to SK lore, Vanaduke was cursed after he watched Almire get destroyed and went to Vog to cry. Since Almire still exists in this story, logic dictates that he hasn't been cursed yet.
*The ICMF Echo Stone essentially says that Cradle was formed to protect the Core. Gwen is supposed to be the Core. But Gwen is not on Cradle, nor is she the Core yet. Therefore, it follows that Cradle does not exist yet. It is reasonable to conclude, therefore, that the events of this story do not take place on Cradle.
*The White Council is on Isora. Sir Snarble is on the White Council. Therefore, Sir Snarble is on Isora. I didn't say he originated there (but he could have).

Edit: I'm sorry, I think I picked an insensitive way of wording things. Edited for politeness.

@Thin

Remember the last time you intertwined reality with fiction? Yeah. I do too.

1) Even if in reality, humans are lesser than angels, this is fiction, NOT REALITY. As stated by you: 'we're not trying to be realistic here.' Angels may be superior over humans, but that superiority is only in their fear of God. Other than that, they're just souls with wings, like humans when they die and go to the spiritual realm. When humans die, their souls become pure, like angels's. Therefore, there is not much difference between the two species.

2) It's better to give a character the benefit of the doubt. Letting the reader IMAGINE how his powers were given to him. That makes the reader want to find that out. Makes the reader 'hooked' to the story, if you will.

3) Ahem. 'Council Arbiter'. Anyhow, she would be envious that a person with non-angelic blood would be able to have such powers. That would make Gwen treat Damian as a lesser, would it not? It may seem like an 'ego-boost' to you, but to me, it seems like an interesting addition to the story's plot.

4) Humans cannot have magic-like abilities? Why? If I recall, the Great Spirit can imbue power into any entity, especially one made like him(Genesis 1:27). In fact:
1) Nowhere in the Bible were we told that Angels were created in the image of God.

2) Among other things, the “image of God” also includes the fact of having a dominion. God has dominion over all things and gave humans dominion over the earth. Angels do not have such a dominion as far as we know.

Therefore, humans are more than worthy to gain such powers.

Please think about this again, Thinslayer. If I were to make him an angel, then he would fall inferior to Kirito, Astraea and Gwenyvier, as they are supposedly the best of their kind. At least we would have a human representative.

Xindao

Name: Xindao

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown, looks about 16-18

Species: Angel

Faction: Valhalla

Personality: Casual, can be depressed at times. Shows strength and is very symbolic as a Gatekeeper.

Bio: Born as Gwen's older brother, Xindao has realized some of the things his sister is capable of. Good, and bad. He's always his own person, but is very protective of her if he needs to be.

He was overlooked as a child, never really belonging to his family. He made himself strong and kind because of his environment. He bears a gun embedded with his symbol, and arrow, pointing up. He has renewing ammo hanging from his waist, and a horned gas mask to travel through toxic air.

Xindao has limited power, but the things he can do with it! He can translate foreign tongues in his head, unhatch a lock if it isn't an elaborate or wooden one, somewhat strength, and can do an unknown ability (it's like a buff, and will be revealed later on in the story if it's needed. He can onky perform it once, so....)

This is a debate. We're currently trying to make both sides happy, the two sides being me and thin. We debate so that we can get over this matter, and improve our own arguing skills. Yes, I do know that this is his RP, but that won't stop me from at least trying to tell him that we could have an interesting addition to the story with a human who has magical abilities.

Twilight is best pony!

Name:Otto

Nicknames: Outlaw(from military days, due to his reckless tactics and combat styles), Big Bad Wolf(in several bounty hunting rings he is a part of)

Gender:Male

Age:37

Faction:Hired by the Triumvirate

Species: Human

Appearance: Wears a light grey combat coat and dark grey pants. He also wears a brown leather cowboy hat and sunglasses, a bandana wrapped around his neck, sometimes over his face.

Arsenal: An old sniper rifle, chambered for .300 Weatherby magnum, six-round magazine, 6x50 scope power: The first and second, them being exactly the same, a small, energy powered double-barrelled sawn-off shotgun with twin recharger cartridges: The shotgun, obviously., and a large, sharp machete strapped to the back of his coat in a leather sheath.

Abilities: Tracker: can usually spot and hear, even smell, things that others can't.
"You can have your fancy schamcy demigod powers, I got no use for 'em"

Silence: Can sneak around pretty much anyone and sneak into pretty much every place.
"Don't come over here, you don't need to check the corner, dammit, don't come over here!"

Scoundrel: Knows a good deal when he sees one, and has a silver tongue.
"Why doncha thrown in another fity Crowns, and we'll make it a deal? No? Well, go to hell!"

Personality: Determined and reckless, he also enjoys a good laugh and a cold one. Otto also enjoys his kills, as long as he knows they deserved it, whereas if its just a money job on a cheating wife, he doesn't let it get to him. He has no loyalty to anyone after being stabbed in the back multiple times(once literally), is very wary after said reason and is a little greedy.

Bio: Otto's father was a big game hunter, killing animals for sport or for their pelts. It's no surprise that Otto was taught how to properly snipe and track prey. Only Otto's job is quite different, with tracking and killing others. He served in the military for three years and left when his best friend lead a charge that won an important campaign and died without acknowledgement or a medal.

After that, he spent his years killing for money and fame within several bounty hunter rings before being offered a ten-year contract by the Morai government to serve the Triumvirate and hopefully bring down the insurgency from the inside taking out important individuals. Otto would be pain three hundred thousand Crowns over the course of the ten years. And extra for bringing in the heads of those responsible...

I'm beginning to.... Dislike you. Not saying who, but to that person, it should be obvious. I will not state my reasons, as that will give away his identity. But this person probably knows who he/she is. I've been growing sick of the aforementioned individual (and the constant, stale debates in this RP) for a while now.

You know what, ill come out and say it. I don't care what he says. Ultima is really beginning to get on my nerves. Although its true, this is a normal, ordinary debate created to find a compromise, I don't believe that h WANTS to comprise. As a rebuttal to the angel/human power argument, I shall remind you that Raguel the Archangel (and Gabriel, I believe) each singlehandedly destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. These are entire cities, people! And the humans couldn't fight back. I wonder why... Oh right! Angels are not any higher in status than humans (as one can see when Satan grew jealous of mankind) but they are gifted with supernatural strengths that no human can achieve in his entire life. So there. Neither side ie better, but angels are CONSIDERABLY stronger than humans.

Besides, why the **** would Gwen EVER be jealous of your character? So what, he's a human with powers. La dee da. No one cares! The Council is not filled with prejudiced individuals who become sick, envious creatures simply because a human has powers like their own! Angels were meant to encourage and help humanity anyway, not be jealous of them. So, what, Dam might even be stronger than Gwen. Like I said, so what? Astraea is stronger than Gwen and Kirito and was born as the Queen of the Valkyries, yet they're not jealous. If Astraea doesn't induce envy in the two Archangels, give me a reason as to why they would envy a puny human whose powers are nowhere in Astraea's league.

Sorry for my ramble, guys. I can't post often, so when I read posts, my pent-up irritation builds up until I explode like a volcano

Tying up loose ends

@Kaijuhunter: I forgot to tell you that Kirito is accepted.

@Frostrex: I like your character, so I plan to accept him. There are a few things that need to be cleared up, though.
*Since Almirians and Spiral Knights are noble, the only remaining human faction that tolerates people like Otto is the "Triumvirate."
*The White Council is factionless, but it meets in Almire.
*I like your weapons, but I think it would be best if we stuck to Spiral weaponry as much as possible. His sniper rifle could be that rifle seen in the Hunter's lodge, his shotgun could be replaced by a Magnus or Autogun-line weapon, and his machete could be replaced with a Nightblade or Tempered Calibur.

@Quexi: I really want to accept Xindao, but there are a few things yet that need to be modified. While Gwen's family will not make an appearance in this story, I don't much care for the idea that this same family overlooked their only son and eldest child. Also, since Gwen is somewhere in the 9-18 age range (I didn't say that she just looks that way), Quexi can't be much older than her. I recommend that he be 18.

Also, he shall replace Tinkinzar on the White Council. :)

@Ultimaknightz: I can see where you're coming from, but I think it's best if I put my foot down and restrict Damian to the angelic race. I can't have the line between humans and angels blurred.

By the way, Gwen is not that kind of Arbiter. "Arbiter" means "judge," which is meant in the Biblical sense of "ruling/leading giver-of-justice," kind of like a king. It's a more elaborate way of saying that she's the leader of the council.

It doesn't follow that being in the image of God makes one worthy to have supernatural power. God gives it to whoever the heck he wants. He has given it to the worthy (like Moses), to the unworthy (like Jehu), to angels, and even to a donkey (namely, speech). Donkeys are not made in the image of God.

Samson is probably the only person in history to be given superhuman powers that he could use at a whim. The prophets did not have that ability; they often had to pray before using God's power.

But, even if we ignore all that for a moment, the only reason humans cannot have magical abilities is because I said so. That's one of the rules of this RP. Perhaps I didn't make it as clear as I should have, but it's a rule nonetheless, and I can't go around making exceptions willy-nilly without a pretty darn-good reason. You've given me lots of reasons why Damian could have special abilities, but no good ones for why he should (beyond "it would be interesting").

Give me reasons why he should. Is it of critical plot importance that he be a human with supernatural powers? Would the story collapse without it?

I'm joining in on this argument.

Alright, Ultima, You never were one for emotion/character building (As in getting attatched to a unique character's personality, even if he/she wasn't that special) Like in the case of my character, Dagoon. I've gotten attached, not only to her, but almost all of the other characters, minus (Also, why'd you use a variant of my name?) Damian, and most other characters you've created. Why? Because you always ALWAYS Play a character that has some of the same skills, and is nearly never flawed in any way.
First, I'm going to use Archemiday's first character.
From what I see, he was originally, not so special at all, minus the clone he had. Eventually, he branched out slowly into being (Forgive me if I spelled wrong) Palentuna's Guard/Messenger, while also being a vampire. Then he gained a few more powers along the way.
Dagoon here, was never special, except in the end of RTC. at the end, I used Ecta, and sure, I was one of the most ignored characters at the end, because I couldn't do anything. So I just had a placeholder for her. Ecta could only split parts of her spirit off to posses things, like weapons. If I remember correctly they were your character's weapons. That character was the only character I could acknowledge like he were a person. Use that character.
You know. the character with the white and black snipes? I mean, Come on! You've been using nothing but your main character!

What I really mean, is Make your character Relatable, and a bit less overpowered. A human shouldn't have that many powers.
Hold on to at least one.

Corrections?

@Liminori: It's Palutena, spelled "pal-u-tena".

@Archemiday-Thebard: Nah, no vampires. Your character was accepted as-is. :)

Grrr

Well, according to my dad, I am no longer allowed on HIS computer. Ever again. SO, I'll be posting from my phone and I might make shorter posts until I mow some lawns and get 400 bucks for a laptop. -.-'

Well Thinslayer, I find it an interesting plot for my character, and it can give me a chance to explain his story more. There are some things that happen without anybody knowing. They must have overlooked him for a reason? I am here to exploit that.

That sucks, not being able to use his computer.

Perhaps someone overlooked him, but I don't think it's his parents. Maybe Gwen's and his family was killed off early in their childhoods, and they were placed under the care of someone who generally overlooked Xindao? It might fit well with Kirito's lore.

That works.

Yeah, and I haven't done anything. He's actually bipolar, and I think he's in mania, and if I screw something up he turns into this jerk that's like, "You're not worthy of my household," so, I'm going to end up staying at my mom's house for as long as I can. I'm just in his way, so I'm going to end up getting out of his way. He doesn't really care for me anymore, since he can no longer comprehend my mannerisms and takes them as disrespectful. He asks me if I can help him with something(usually he doesn't ask and just tells me to do it) and I look at him, waiting for him to tell me, and he just yells, "NEVERMIND!"

Lol, I need a different place to vent my frustrations. XD

A Brief History of Isora

Day 35 of Hexaluna, year 1016

A History of Men, Angels, and Other Oddities

Greetings instructor,

I hereby present to you my summary of Isoran history for our History 1 class. I hope you can pardon me for the late assignment; I got so excited by the subject material that I'd quite forgotten to write my paper.

Approximately over one millennium ago, our world of Isora was created from null by the Great Spirit. He placed humankind on the planet, angels in Paradise, and declared it good. Then, humans did the Unspeakable Deed, and were banished from their homeland in Eden to a life of hard labor for the rest of eternity. He left them with a promise, that he would someday purge them of their wickedness and restore them to paradise.

Many civilizations rose and fell, but as this is a history of Isora, we will only concern ourselves with the ancient Mor'Lok. They rose to power after they invaded and conquered the Solaran Empire, which had weakened from centuries of moral corruption. The Mor'Loki Emperor Shi'Tau laid down the first Codex Legatus, the first codified legal system ever created. It was far from perfect, prescribing the death penalty for almost every conceivable sin, but it did its job of keeping the peace. The Mor'Loki worshipped the Star Dragon, Mor'Lok, after which their nation was named.

But like so many other civilizations before it, the Mor'Loki grew corrupt and amoral, and were soon destroyed by their own sin and greed. The few people who remained banded together to form the nation of Moras. They were determined not to make the same mistakes as their ancestors, so they took the Codex Legatus and modified it into the legal system known today as the Articles of Justice.

Some, however, did not want to remain in the shadow of the Mor'Lok legacy, and wanted to separate themselves as far from it as possible in order to create a more godly civilization. These settled down in the green, hilly grasslands which they named Almire. They grew to be substantially different from their Morai cousins, creating a small but powerful civilization built upon the principles of righteousness, justice, and peace. I don't remember who their first ruler was, unfortunately, but their fourth one was the current Lord Vanaduke, who rose to power after a landslide election in his favor. In my opinion, his opponent Serris was just plain stupid. I'm so glad nobody picked him.

The establishment of two stable nations drew the attention of Her Royal Majesty Freyja, Archangel and Queen of the Valkyries. She alighted upon Isora and examined these nations with great curiosity. She decided that, although they were currently stable, they were likely to annihilate each other if allowed to proceed without a moderating force. So she selected a legion of versatile angels and settled down in a remote region they named Valhalla. Unfortunately, these angels became embroiled in the matters of this world, and only contributed to the problems they originally desired to rectify.

Shortly after she departed from this world in grief over her failure, she appointed me to be her successor. I know not what she saw in me, for I have not been the most able of leaders, having stupidly led us to the brink of war with both Almire and Moras on a couple occasions over petty matters of pride. I must have done something right though, because I was quite popular with the people back then. I created the White Council, which I placed in Almire after I visited that nation and was amazed at their nobility and good judgement. In hindsight, that was a regrettable decision, since the subsequent prestige it brought Almire has been an endless source of grief.

I soon came to recognize that our great nation would be better served by a more capable leader, so I selected Astraea to be my successor and then stepped down from the throne to focus on my duties with the White Council. The Council selected me to be their leading member shortly thereafter.

In recent years, the Morai have grown corrupt and tyrannical, prompting their nobler citizens to reject their leadership and revolt. The venerable Spiral Order formed the backbone of this brave movement. When the Morai responded with the creation of their puppet order, the Triumvirate, mass bloodshed ensued between the two factions. This sad conflict between brethren continues even as I write.

This is a summary of Isora up to the present day. Thank you for reading this paper so patiently.

Signed,
Gwenyvier
