Also, the hatch above is used for a reason, which means that some more attackers could come through during their journey and herd the group away, with Kirito following close behind to organize an escape. Once at the base, if needed, Gwen can be questioned individually. Why?: Because a man stood up for only her, which will be questionable. She'll tell them she's his sister, and they might question her even further, which will give you, Thin, a chance to further the story. After everyone is questioned individually, Kirito will organize an escape, and they may or may not make it to the meeting on time.

That's an interesting idea. I may use it, but not at this point in the story. I don't want Gwen to miss the meeting, because it is very important. She may get kidnapped at a later date.

@Dmatter: what's the best way to continue with Euclid's story? I want to retell the story of his fight for the Spiral Order against the Morai government. I have plans to intersect his story with Gwen's, but we're not there yet. I just don't want to leave your story hanging, especially since I like Euclid and the Spiral Order.

Well, from what I see, there are 4 ways I can think of for them to continue:
1: Continue doing what their doing.
This just involves them continuing making uproars. Not exactly an exciting choice, but we could use it to bide time until we can interact with the other group.
2: Go recruit help.
They go around and look for others to join their cause. Also not exciting, but seems like it would have the most character development.
3: Get captured.
They get captured in the night, get taken to a cell, probably about to be executed, and have to escape. Exciting and might have the most plot, but might be the hardest to write.
4: Leave and come back more prepared.
Would allow us to interact with the other group faster and plot, but might break the spiral order's code and be a bit boring.
I prefer 3, but each one is a valid choice that I'll leave up to you. Anyway, I'm going to golf now.

I modeled his powers after the RtC Diablo, and his personality off of Char Azbable from the Gundam series.
Also, the quality of the art itself is still high. Astraea's blushing pose is classic.

This is a prequel series, so it takes place about ~500 years, give or take a few hundred, before the events of Spiral Knights. There are already quite a few inconsistencies with the original RtC, such as the idea that Diablo formed the White Council (when, in this series, Gwen formed it), and then there's the story of Cradle's and the Core's formation. In RtC, it was suggested (or claimed) that Gwen was already the personification of the Core, and that Cradle was formed as a (relatively) quick defensive measure. In this series, Gwen has yet to become the Core, and will form Cradle as a strategic defensive measure.
And Gwen doesn't have her Void scar yet.
There are likely a few other inconsistencies, but we're doing this mostly for fun. :D

Appearance: Tall, grim looking, brown hair black eyes.
Abilities: Energy corruption. In almost the opposite way that energy capture works, Axis begins to corrupt nearby energy, poisoning anyone nearby and practically making energy users suffer for enabling any of their powers. Easily curable if anyone with non-corrutped energy can transplant some of their energy to the infected, if not cured the corruption will extend into other internal systems and eventually the infected will die. Also can use teleforce.
Personality: Cold and ruthless Axis is the exact opposite of what Gwen is and what Diablo seems. He will do anything to complete a goal.
Bio: Throughout Axis' life he's been overlooked and ignored. Whether it be from Diablo being ambitious and powerful, or Gwen being a goody two shoes. But Axis is easily the most tricky out of the three, manipulating others and keeping a sense of privacy about his actions and his life. While he despises most of his family, Diablo has been intent about keeping him under his wing. Practically Diablo's right hand man, Axis organizes surveillance and other things that keep Diablo's hands clean.
Arsenal: Venom Destroyer, Snake hood, Skolver coat, Venom coat, Dread venom striker. The Venom Destroyer is Axis' signature weapon, 3 shots per clip. Whenever a target is hit with the shells, poison is injected into the target. Venom's vary between regular poison and celestial poison, for use against fellow angles. He wears the skolver coat in public along with the venom hood, flipped inside out which makes it seem like a regular divine veil. The venom coat is a poison version of the skolver coat.

*Keep all the gear at 2*, please.
*Ensure that Energy Corruption has some kind of limit. For example, maybe it should only work on exposed crystal energy (which is somewhat rare)? This kind of restriction would make this ability most useful near the end of the story, where there will be lots of exposed crystal energy.
@Dmatter: They'll all be captured together, but they will be separated while imprisoned. You may begin the sequence. :)
I'm not used to imagining Gwen being sexy like that. She's always been a chaste, modest girl to me. :)
