If by "we" you mean "me," then yeah, I can redact what others wrote. But I'd like to see you guys try to resolve it first before I lay down the law. ;)
@Ultimaknightz: I was just going over a few possible story posts for your character. I'll show you a few here. Other characters will be power-played, but since this is just the discussion thread, it doesn't matter as much.
Begin suggestion
Damian was furious at Kirito. He jumped up from his observer's seat in the council and exclaimed, "How dare you insinuate that I am a spy!" Takiza slammed his fist on his desk. "Silence! You will NOT speak without authorization! Now SIT DOWN!!" Damian grunted and sat down.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash and a clatter as a thin black object jumped through a window, grabbed Seatus, and jumped out. Damian leaped out of his seat and darted to the window, and saw the black thing dragging Seatus away. He raced to the door and ran down the street after them. He turned a corner just in time to see the Finder dart into an alleyway. Gwen caught up with Damian, and proceeded to converse with Seatus about what had just happened.
She began to gasp for breath under the grasp of an invisible force, and was levitated off the ground. Seatus tried to run to her, but fell back against an invisible wall. Damian looked up and spotted Diablo with one of his minions. Damian smirked and muttered to himself, "Don't worry your Highness, I'll rescue you." He summoned his wings and flew up to Diablo, but the guard shot him in the wing, so he plummeted to the ground. He tried to use his wings as a parachute and landed ungracefully on the ground.
He picked himself up and stopped short. A beautiful, sexy woman, dressed in a low-cut silk gown, stood before him. She beckoned to him seductively and cooed, "Come here, Damian, and get the hero's thanks you deserve." He quivered with excitement. Dam straight. It's about time! She leaned in to kiss him, and he reached out to touch her.
Something greasy met his hands. He opened his eyes.
He shrieked, recoiled and tumbled to his butt in horror at the disgusting black monster standing before him. It groaned sadly at his reaction and jumped on him, pinning him to the ground. He heard a feminine voice in his head say, If you refuse to be with me, you'll make a scrumptious meal.
[defeat option]
He screamed and shut his eyes tight. There was a gunshot and a squeal, and suddenly he could move again. He opened his eyes and saw the creature fleeing, leaving a trail of blood in its wake. He looked back and saw Otto holding a smoking gun. Damian brushed himself off, shivered with relief, and muttered, "Thank goodness that thing is gone." Otto piped up, "Ye mean thank me! Goodness didn't shoot nothin'." Damian scowled and crossed his arms. "I had it all under control, you know." Otto laughed and retorted, "Don't try an' deny it, I heard ye scream like a lil' girl!"
"I was not! I was...roaring to scare it away."
"Ha ha ha! Yer funny, kid. You'd sooner scare off a pigeon than that monster, screamin' like that."
"Are you insulting me?"
Otto chortled and lit his pipe. "Nurp, but I won't be offended if ye take it that way. G'day to ya!"
"Harumph." Damian looked back at the blood trail. I'd better stop that thing before it seduces anyone else, he thought ruefully.
[victory option]
He wrested free of the creature's grip and kicked it off. He rolled away, summoned his swords, and took a defensive stance. The monster leaped at him and swiped at his chest. He blocked it and tried to counter-attack, but he missed, leaving himself wide open for a vicious bite to his left arm. He yelped and elbowed the creature, then ducked under a shower of thorns. He wiped the blood from his mouth and cautiously stepped forward, twirling his blades menacingly. To his horror the monster withdrew two rapier-like thorns from its body and did the same. Their blades met, and the two began a deadly dance of death. Normally, he would have been the superior swordsman, but it's difficult to fight when you're relying on an arm that's going numb from loss of blood. The rapiers plunged into his legs, and he staggered closer to the creature's face.
It grinned at him.
He grinned back.
It looked down, groaned in pain, and collapsed to the ground in front of him. Damian withdrew his blades from its chest and de-summoned them. The monster was still alive, but it wasn't going to hurt anyone anytime soon. He looked up at the sky; Gwen was long gone.
End suggestion
Opinions?
Yeah, I agree with Gzilla. Also, would it be acceptable for me to send Astraea into the fray? She'll infiltrate Diavolo's base in order to free top and Gwen, only to be knocked out and thrown in with them herself. As you can see,
I'm not playing hero. In fact, I'm subjecting Astraea to the same punishment that Top and Gwen are suffering. And Kirito sees Astraea as a little sister sort of figure, so when he finds out both Astraea and Gwen were captured by Diavolo, that'll merely strengthen his hatred for the rest of the Valentines (excluding Gwen and Xindao)
