Biography: Desna was an army girl right from the start. Her father was a frontline Cobalt Defender, her mother was a reconnaissance agent, and her siblings all joined the military in various capacities. She joined the Spiral Order when she was 13 years old (yes, they take them that young), and graduated at the top of her class three years later. Her field performance was equally stellar, so her commanding officers recommended her to the Recon Rangers. She jumped at the opportunity, and was inducted into the Recon Rangers by the time she was 17. She served admirably during the Independence Wars (against the Morai, as you may recall), successfully bringing the entire Triumvirate Order to its knees in a brilliant campaign that still has the brass scratching their heads. She was one of the very few individuals selected to board the Skylark on its galactic mission. The rest is history.
Game of Death (roleplay discussion thread)
The thunderbolt shouldn't be capable of purifying a Void being or destroying Swarm Seed, for a couple reasons:
1. The game itself suggests otherwise.
2. It would be unbalanced and potentially story-destroying in some cases.
3. I already have lore (though unstated here) regarding the purging (or purifying) of the Swarm.
I also have a question for you: do you intend for Herobrine to be a hero or villain?
@everyone else: the story change will be occurring shortly. Stay tuned. ;)
I don't need your help Troloe and since he has so many de-buffs, he needs to avoid the swarm all together and usually struggles to kill swarm enemies or swarm knights because 1 mistimed swipe can cost him his life but he hasn't so far. I want Herobrine to be a Villain but a Hero when battling the swarm (The swarm is a big threat that needs to be stopped).
Sorry to be rude, but can someone who can grab the key start trying to? Klepto doesn't really have anything to do, and I plan on posting his reaction to the stalker when he starts doing things again. Oh, and on an unrelated note, can you give him the chroma armor 1 piece at a time with a mild gap in-between when he gets it? I have a sort of plan I'll do later, but it requires that and some lore assumption. I can mail you my proposal in-game (spiral knights, not the roleplay) later today.
My eyesight is now bad because I am nearly dead and I can sense a weird energy coming from the outside world.
I mean its with in my reasoning. I should be able to grab the item but at the same time it would be wise to look at the room and take in the full suroundings before making a fool hearty move and take the item in question. Remember even a treasure has a trap to protect it.
I picked it up, now what. Also, Warden moving at full speed...hope no one was infront of Deadman. Other wise they might get a very rude trample or knocked out of the way xD
IDK if that was a little too quick to post a responce to Deadmans attacker or not :/
It's okay, you responded well. Also, I'm going to offer hints during combat to simulate Deadman's defensive skills.
Of course kicking that King in the chest to get him out of danger might not have been the best plan.
Um, I am out of energy from all the damage taken from the Trojan, the vents and the giant fall and when I get some back, I still wouldn't be able to see very well. As a side note, the swarm energy I mention is from Antasma who could be bombing trying to get inside. (Troloe said it was fine if I mentioned it.)
Sorry about that Robo but the debate seems to have stopped dead.
Ya, Deadman is now angry....Hmm anyone ever seen a Warden lose their cool? I would imagen it would be something like what Deadman is about to do, in the anger department.
Um...why would Deadman be angry? Just curious. Desna will probably beat him to a pulp if he seriously hurts anyone. Lol
when you lose a fight, even if your running away, you get angry. Thats kinda what Deadman is running on. In his mind he lost that fight because he had to run away to protect those others.
Ah...makes sense. Spiral Guardians feel responsible for their squadmates, and having to run away goes against everything they live for.
See what I mean xD So his anger is very well applied/used. He has no feeling to the one who put them in danger so ya en.
Have to ask, how does Deadman come off as a character?
Deadman comes off as semi-stoical, bottling up his emotions to produce a calm exterior. The frequency with which he makes unspoken thoughts and the terse quality of his words suggest that he is an introvert, sparing his words in social situations but opening up to close friends. He does not seem particularly protective of the other players, which, while not a good trait for a warden, is quite understandable, since his introverted nature makes him a better team-player when he is around close friends.
You seem to have a good grasp of your character. :)
Looking at my current situation, I will either be killed by the knights with 5* stuff or the swarm entity outside (Antasma)...
Relax, the authorities already know you're part of the Swarm. That's why you're in jail in the first place. ;)
Speaking of which, I made an error in having everyone look at Lucario. I'm pretty sure the Recon Ranger HQ is nowhere near the Spiral Order's top security prison. I'll edit it. xP
The reason I could post so often on the before RPs, was because I was a different guy then.
My priorities were:
1) Gaming. xD
2) School
3) Life
Now....:
1) School
2) Gaming
3) Life. xD
Technically, I'm still improving. I got bad grades last year, and I want to change. So I want to change. I'm on a good start. But still, I'll be trying to post. (Can't keep up,really.....)
I am going to try and kidnap Lucario from the prison and then take all of his swarm energy since he has curse as well. Curse has a really bad side effect to the swarm usually resulting in the swarm seed or enemies killing them self. Lucario got the Strong self-curse from the swarm to remove it permanently and to prevent any more curse related deaths. After I take all of Lucario's swarm power, I will kill him unless you have plans.
lol trying to kill anybody in a top-security Spiral prison is a surefire way to get yourself killed by its wardens. Antasma may be powerful, but he's no Vanaduke. I'd refrain from trying to kill Lucario just for realism's sake.
I am still trying to recover my energy but all the damage I took takes forever to recover just a little bit...
@Troloe, WHY DO YOU WANT TO KILL ME?
Thinking if I should bring Skotino into this. I mean the Watch does have many places to hide and their HQ is guarded head to toe with Knights of all classes. The Shadow Guardian being the most predominate of the bunch. Still it raises the question, how does one react to seeing a person who is 'corrupted' by Dark Matter but still able to be simi-sane of mind. After all Skotino is Skizo so ya.
Dark, you forgot the fact I am also part of the swarm who wants to permanently stop curse which includes Lucario even though he is part of the swarm.
I am well aware. But it is not my intent to try and hold up that little tidbit. However, more so its about keeping them alive long enough to do something that matters. You don't know much about Deadman or Skotino so I would not want to ruin them for you xD
Feel free to bring in Skotino if you want. The only reason you shouldn't would be if you can't effectively handle multiple characters at once.
I realized that if I entered by the door and go to his cell that way, I would get killed, but I could attack outside and destroy the bars and start to kill Lucario.
I also had an idea to make a stronger attack using my plasma bolt.
The only reason I would want Skotino in their would be to give the Players a safe place to stay or at least a place they could all meet were they would not have to worry so much about being found. Of course if the Order did find Skotino's Head Quarters it would more then likely lead to the finding of Sight 51 and the shut down of Section 37. Since Sight 51 is the main Research and Development shuting them down would kill Skotino because of his condition add to it his less then happy band of misfits that work for him. I say misfits when they are refured to by numbers. Look at Daud...Deadman. He is called Number 2.
Tell me when you get to the exit of the base. A real surprise!
Btw, thanks for the video. Fast-paced (A little too much) it was great. I hate videos that talked slowly. I take it as an insult to my *good but not as good as real english people* english.
I'd make an app by now if I could catch up with all the posts.
Sorry for my non Participation!
I'll read your application, check it, then let Thin double check it
We're at the base exit now. Dang, that was a long walk. xD
@Liminori: now that we're out in the open, you don't really have to catch up. Maybe your char is a random onlooker who decided to help. Or maybe he's a bad guy who had a change of heart. You've got options now. ;)
I can talk with Lucario and say I would give him more power when I am actually removing the swarm power inside him. I can toss a empty orb up to Lucario's cell and then say "Put that orb near you and in 5 minutes, you will get stronger" when in fact, he is getting weaker"and toss the orb back to me before you go back to sleep as well" What do you think Thin? Also I attacked the Operators army and now there is a swarm seed in the middle of the army as well which is slowly corrupting them.
Well how is that for a suddon exit. They are out of visual sight as well as communucations for the time being. Its not the most useful escape but at least they are now on their way to the safe holding of the Regulators. At the rate they are going it will be at least an half an hour in game before they reach Sight 4 or and Hour before they get to the Watchs HQ.
I guess I wasn't sure how to handle your char's attack. I'll see what I can do.
Okay, I'm finally out of school for today, and I've caught up now, but before I can post, I'm with Darkwatck right?
Your on a Transport heading to the Watch's HQ. But should something happen they will be heading for Sight 4
Seatus! Skye-Lightning! Get back in the game!
Skye already put his/her excuse. Here: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/87953?page=2#comment-788868 (I need to learn to hyperlink words.)
< a href = [link > word < / a >
Remove the space in between the 'a' and < and the space between 'link' and > and remove all spaces on the end tag. :)
Being "wrapped/cloaked in darkness" is a euphemism for turning invisible.
Well.... I think it's legit that Serris' powers are x10 because of the swarm, thus letting him take mind control of someone he knows. But it takes a lot of effort, and he's vulnerable for a few days after.
Few days of weakness trade for 2 minutes of EPIC POWERS.... Worth it, totally.
Just so you know, no one is dead. Except my minions. Not Desna, no.... Why would Serris kill Desna, if he knew all along that Operator was trying to tell Desna he was switching sides? Wait..... tat's a spoiler.........
I finally absorbed Lucario's power through a empty orb which absorbed all his power and I can eat it to get stronger and to restore some health. As a side note, Seeris can't take over my mind since I am fully corrupted.
Since Herobrine can't be corrupted by the swarm, the de-buffs are much more and last longer. The de-buffs are Very, very slow (1/4 slower than a lumber), can't jump, Leviathan blade and firebolt get strong self-cursed (Thunderbolt doesn't for a reason). All those de-buffs make Herobrine more likely to get killed than corrupted but his Thunderbolt is so pure with energy, it destroys a swarm seed and purify's any knights or creatures who have been corrupted (Even though he needs to nearby the item to purify it or destroy the seed).
