I've been reading this story for a few days now, and just made a new account on Steam and linked it here (Yadda-yadda account I actually use is on Kongregate, which can't link with S.K. website. Name is Pennzqwu, part of the guild Ominous.), so I can join in the forums! The first thing I thought about after linking my Steam account was, "Hey, maybe I could join that Game of Death roleplay!" I checked Thin's posts on here, and (s)he never actually posted an official reply saying that applications are closed. So, if there are still open slots somehow, maybe I could join? c:.
Name: Alexander "Alec" Prelude.
Appearance: I actually have some questions about this one. Do I have to draw it? I can't draw for my life. If I try to draw a stick figure, it looks like a bowl of cereal more than a figure of a stick. Drawing Alec will be even harder than a normal person. He'll be a midget. He'll look like someone grabed his head and toes and smushed them together if I try to draw him.
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Eye color: Brown
Skin color: White-Brownish. (Looks like he spent a few weeks in a countryside during the summer.)
Height: Very short, and sensitive about it. (4' 8")
Weight: Being rather short, he's also rather light. He's around 130 lbs. I'd say.
Attire: What seems to be a coat and cap from a Perma-Frostifur. Don't ask how. Better not to know.
Arsenal: Alright, here we go. But first, since he loves axes, all of his weapons, besides the gun, look sort of like axes. It's purely aesthetic.
Weapons: Glacius, Combuster, Dark Thorn Blade, Silent Nightblade. He prefers elemental. In case of emergency, he has a Silversix.
Armor: Somehow, Alec killed Maulos's Perma-Frostifurs and took their hides as armor for himself. They glow faintly blue, and seem to be nearly indestructible. He uses a Grey Owlite Shield.
Personality: "Remember, it doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you put AXEtra effort into it!" -Alec, shortly before he was kicked out of a dorm for his horrible puns.
Cheerful, Alec seems to have an unhealthy love of axes. He's fond of practical jokes. However, when dire situations occur, those who know him closely are stunned at the transformation they see within him. Suddenly changed from "axeing" people about their tolerance for his puns to "axeing" apart the enemies in a battlefield, several people refuse to believe he is the same person. He seems to have a keenly developed mental mind. However, there is one strange aspect about this. You know how people say there's a thin line between ingenuity and insanity? Alec seems to be one of the few "geniuses" who suffer no aspect of insanity. Of course, the reason for this will be revealed soon. By soon I mean the next part. Alec does sometimes seem to struggle with himself internally, but no one knows why. Though everyone's a good friend, he's never truly met someone he felt he could trust with his life.
Biography: When he was 7 years old, his parents, leading biologists, were both killed in a fire before his very eyes. Twisted and sadistic, Serris himself had planned the assassination. He then took young Alec, who knew too much, and put him under a regime of torture. For 20 years he was abused physically and mentally. No one knows how he escaped. He took out the cameras at the beginning, leaving only a trail of dead corpses and a broken 400 lbs. steel door as testimony that he had gone. When he escaped, he swore that the torturous past score would have the opposite effect Serris intended. The trauma, though Alec tried to hide it, did have some unexpected effects. He suffered no aspect of insanity during his ingenuity. Go insane? Pshaw, if he was insane he'd have died in the first day. Sometimes, though, when he least expects it, the memories come back. Haunting. Chilling. Reminding him of the horrible mental torture. He had been through hell and back. He'd be darned if he went through it again. The axes? Alec noticed that Serris had never put an axe into his mental "simulations". He decided to use them just to spite his tormentor. The man who had taken everything away from him. And so he trained. He trained harder than Olympic athletes for two solid years, delving into Danger Missions, Shadow Lairs, and compounds. And now, after exactly one-tenth of the time he was held captive, he came back for revenge. And to mock Serris with his axe puns. That too.
Special Power(s): Alec is capable of manipulating the very essence of fla- aw screw it. I'll do fancy narrating if I get in. He has fireblast and freeze ray. If he can without being OP, also Hexing Haze.

You're correct, applications are still open! For your character's appearance, I recommend doing a Google Image Search for a reference picture. For example, I used this search to find the picture for the assassin, Claire Averia Farron. A few key search queries should bring up a character that closely resembles the one you're looking for. For you, I would start with this.
I like your app. The only sticky point is the armor; I don't mind characters having tough armor, but "nearly invincible" goes a little too far for me. How about a compromise? We'll say Perma-Frostifur Armor has as much elemental defense as Ancient Plate has normal, and is invulnerable to freezing attacks. But like Ancient Plate, it isn't particularly resistant against anything else. In practice, this means you have permission to shrug off elemental or freeze attacks thrown at you during gameplay, but you will be expected to react as usual against, say, a flourish stab.
Aside from the aforementioned issues, your app looks good. I look forward to seeing your first story post! :D
Is Seeris, Warmaster Seerus or is Seeris just a knight?
Serris and Seerus are two very different characters.
Are comic stick figures suitable images? If so, I'd like to use Roy Greenhilt (The brown guy) as what my character sort of resembles here:
A quick search on google should reveal some fan art drawings that are more realistic.
On the armor, since 5* wolver line has some bonus (ASI, etc.), I'd like Perma-Frostifur to have ASI medium on both of them. I kind of like the idea of Alec being a "Rush in, kill everything, pose while making snarky axe comments." Like a ninja, but with axe comments.
Also, can I introduce my character in any (realistic) way I want to? Or do you want to orchestrate some scenario in which I show up? Either way's fine. I don't exAXEctly have a problem with either.

I'm quite sorry for my ability to aggravate those around me. Still, I knew then not that such calamity would summon me hither! Mayhap it has something to do with the way I speak, as I am, as know thee, normally accustomed to confabulating in a seemingly arrogant manner to those around me.
I'm slightly lost in where the RP's leading to; it seems to be some miscellany of sporadic post lengths of sorts; but as matters stand, I am truly sorry for the great deal of hurt I have caused you. Or topoyozariane(or topoyozada.). Honestly, if I have caused you such trouble in the past, I must have been quite the annoying one. :/
As of the present, I have no current interest of joining this RP, as you already seem to have your hands full(and also because I wish not to aggravate topoyozariane further). Even so, it seems to me that the RP is coming to a close, so even if I tried to join(which I do not feel like doing), I would not have enough time to actually join the RP. Logical, is it not?

Arsenal: The white cloak is similar to the chaos cloak without all the disadvantages or advantages and pure white. White Helm is similar to the almirian guardian helm which doesn't have any advantages or disadvantages similar to the cloak. White bracelet is similar to the shield bracelet (Not actually a shield) and the staff is similar to a customized wrench wand without the bonus damage but it's 5*.
Personality: Smart, likes to attack from the distance, nice, kind and super weak to the swarm
Biography: Rachel was born on Skylark and when she was 5, she saw some ships crashing into the planet. She wanted to see if they were ok but there were so many creatures outside her house which would have killed her. When she was 9, she got a wrench wand that was lying on the ground and custiomized it to make her skills better, which removed the bonus damage on it. She then called it the wonder staff and it was powerful at defeating the enemies outside. When she was 13, the Spiral HQ allowed her to join and gave her some stuff to protect her. She stormed through the missions without much problem until she was told to do a shadow lair. The lair was rabid snarby but she bought a bracelet before which gave her some piercng defense (2* jelly band). Before she could do anything, the lift glitched and dropped her into the unknown passage and the swarm started to attack her. She was to weak but before she died, a beam of light flashed over her and then 3 guards that were in the beam of light said "You're items are perfect and you are perfect to become a protector of light, the only problem is, you will be weaker to the swarm." Her items got upgraded and she then rushed to the lift and made it to safety in the sanctuary. Once she reached the sanctuary, she saw the guardians that helped her and they said " You made it, well done! No-one usually makes it through the unknown passage but you provide it to us." Rachel thanked them and went back to Haven. 7 years later, she moved to Haven and usually helps the wardens and occasionally helps the recon rangers.
Special Powers: Energy bolt and shield aura
((OOC: Side note: if she is allowed, she will be in Haven's town center to start off with. Also, Light is the opposite of Shadow which makes some since))
Sounds like a good character Creeper, a character who can attack from the distance who is also weak to the swarm. It sounds a bit similar to a mage but Thin's decision! I have some ideas that will be useful and I will have some action with the void shadow guardian. Also, there could be another battle between the void shadow guardian and Lucario. Can wait to have another battle.

I guess part of the problem is that the response hooks don't leave me very inspired; it just feels like small-talk. It could also be that I'm becoming uninterested in Desna, and more interested in exploring Claire's story. Maybe a little plotting and action is all Desna needs. :)
Well lets move on then shall we? Section 37 will decide if they want to get involved with this or not xD Feel free to control on of them if they becomes a thing. But knowing how the Watch works, there really is nothing for them to gain, unless I am missing something they will just do the simple thing and write some paper to the Order and hope it goes through. Again, they have to vote on something.
I've come down with the cold, and I've got a lot going on at the moment, so I probably won't be posting much (if at all) tomorrow. Just to let you guys know.

1. I took NyQuil, so I felt much better.
2. The event I got up early for (and would have taken all morning) was postponed.
3. I got to college early and prepared.
4. The test was peach-easy, so I was out early.

If you focus more on creating relationships with the other characters, you'll find yourself in a more active story. Look at Claire, for example:
*She is loved by Nitscu.
*She has a very tense relationship with Desna.
*Nobody else trusts her.
*Serris still wants to use her.
Or look at Desna:
*She is admired by just about everybody.
*She is/was developing a good working relationship with Daud and Skotino.
*She and Claire distrust each other.
*She and Antasma are enemies (unwillingly on her part).
But Lucario?
*Shared the same dungeon as everyone else.
*Is an enemy of Antasma
And that's about it. Work on relationships. ;)
Should I get the Whole of the Watch in this or? I mean that's was Section 37 is debating if the full resources should be put on this, if not they will just sign some papers and just do the small things. I mean since it would be nice to have a whole army they need more then just that to get in volved but at the same time they won't just turn a blind eye. I just think it would be nice to have a sway here. Thin please feel free to take over one of the counsel members to make a side here.
All right, first off, I think most of us are quite unfamiliar with the Darkwatch. I really have no clue what Section 37 is, who Skotino or Daud are supposed to be, or what the Darkwatch is (besides being a guild). Much of what you've written about it uses unfamiliar jargon, and is thus meaningless to the readers. In order for us to be really immersed in your parts of the story, you really have to start from scratch.
It'll likely be tough this far into the story, but...that's the reason we use Spiral Knight's lore: it's ready-made and readily understood. People are more familiar with the Recon Rangers than they are the Darkwatch. They know much more about the Spiral Order than they do the Morai. Swordsmanship, gunslinging, and bombing are more easily understood than weaving. New stuff has to be described in great detail.

The Darkwatch as requested.
*Who are the Darkwatch?
The Darkwatch is a Guild/Organization that stands outside of the Spiral Order. To maintain and uphold is the common outsider word. However taking on the tasks as well as making sure the Watch is prepare for anything for those Knights who do not completely agree with everything the Order has done or just want to do something else. Most times they are Assassians and killers that have committed no wrongs in the Order but do not wish to follow the some ideals of the Spiral Order. Memebers are trained in their respective ‘armor class type’ to be able to handle the tasks handed to them. Should a member fail to the point where they will get caught or leave behind something that can be traced they are killed or sent off to walk the world of Cradle.
*What do they do?
Working more like a Mercenary group the members of the Darkwatch will do anything for money, but only of the order from there HQ is good. However working for more or less jobs makes them the people to do the jobs that is needed to be kept quiet and off the record. Since they work outside of the Spiral Orders control the Darkwatch can do anything they want, so long as they don’t get caught or killed. The common things they do are; missions that the Spiral Order cannot do. Stand in as back up for hire and or Personal guards for Hire. Kill if ordered and body disposal. Investigation on levels depending on security required, never getting higher then level Six. It has been noted that the Darkwatch has attacked other cities/groups inside the Clockworks under the orders of; invasion, capital gain, resources, taking down of Foreign or domestic problems.
*Why do they do it?
Working in the background mostly keeping their heads down, the members of the Darkwatch will try everything they can to understand the world around them. Develop better weapons and tech. Kill for the right amount, and or remove unwanted peoples from the view of the general public. Have been seen on some occasions as starting wars within the Spiral Order. Standing as Mercenaries the men and women of the watch have willingly signed their lives away for pay and living away from the hands of the Order. Willing to kill themselves at the word of their leader.
*Who is Skotino?
A man who was born with a grudge with the Spiral Order but able to keep himself quiet to progress through the ranks to a Five Star Shadow Defender. Being a country man he is easy to speak to and will speak back, but those only masks the man below as his body tells if his already cursed nature. Having suffered heavily from Corruption of Dark Matter in an expierment at Section 37 to recreate the Swarm creatures but with a more controllable nature Skotino stands as the only man who has walked from that section since before it’s recreation three years later. As the son of the founding member of the Darkwatch Skotino was appointed leader and since the time of his father’s passing has served to better the Watch in any way possible. But having come with a heavy price, as his sanity has slowly slipped away from him leaving him with Schizophrenia, believing a creature by the name of D lives around him and talks to him at times. He only tends to use one weapon in battle, never a shield because he believes when it’s your time, it’s your time. However he is not very strong with his swordsmanship rather relaying on his speed and strength of mind then of body. The 37 year old man, now father to a child whom he can never see in person because of his body being corrupted by Dark Matter, longs to see his final goal realized in silent. The order, righting the wrong of disgracing his family name.
*Who is Daud?
Daud ‘Deadman’ Nychta. Second in command of the Darkwatch. Willingly follows orders and gives them but is forced to follow the orders of the Wardens. Being a Warden Daud is mostly found helping the Knights of Cradle to better themselves as well as the Spiral Order. Since he is a Warden he is aware of all the oaths he has taken as well as his first oath, he belongs to the Order and will die for the Order if need be.His idle was Warden Arkus before the even when Arkus turned and was for ever more one with the Silent Legion. Now mid-ranked in the Warden's Order the 'Deadman' spends his time keeping the Watch in line as well as working to better his skills and make the Order a better place on Cradle.
*What are the "sections?"
The Darkwatch is made up of different ‘sections’. Each one able to do completely different things as well as able to be provide for themselves should something happen and they lose Contact with Section 0. Currently there are over 60 different Sections. The more important ones being; Section 0: the Head Quarters of the Watch, Section 51: Development and Research for the Watch. Section 37: The Governing body of the Watch as well as Mission selection. Each major group inside of the Darkwatch has a Section that is fitted with only the supplies they need to survive as well as perform at their best. The only Section not listed on any map is Section 0. It is only know by the Higher ups of the Watch and thus must be memorized so the information can never get loose to the public. Should anyone who knows the Location of Section 0 be captured they are to end their life’s as to protect the Watch at all costs.
*anything else you think we need to know
The most uncommon thing about the Darkwatch is when they will stick there necks out for any group of people who are willing enough to find them. They offer the same serves as the Order and can even give Official reports to the Spiral Order via Section 37 and be signed into a Knights background on their Official Record. However the Darkwatch tries to keep themselves as in the dark as possible. Only when recruiting does the Watch ever seem to be active, keeping a Spot in the Guild Halls open for such an event. It is widely believe that Skotino is more or less a Relic of the past, a Ghost on this world, as rumors have come saying he is a madman who just wants to watch everything the Spiral Order has made be destroyed. In some respects this is true but he would never do anything to harm the order.
Should you wish to know anything else I will edit this post to reflect and or give you more information on this when it comes out.

Thin, how far away is the Operator's trap maze thing from the scene of the Recon Rangers vs. Serris battle? If it's not that far away (after all, Desna easily broke in and got everyone back to her HQ) then everyone in there should here some sounds of battle. Also, I'm surprised I'm not banned yet for that terrible parody I made up of Dumb Ways to Die.

The dungeon is VERY far away. To get there, Desna had to 1) blow a hole in the sky and 2) fly through the hole towards a comparatively small dungeon 3) contained in an entirely different dome.
Would it be a bit of a Mary Sue if Alec's bag of tools were actual tools (such as a telescope, a comlink, etc.) rather than the impression I gave of scientific ones? Since Hearthstone's grounded, I don't know how else I can advance the plot without waiting for a week.

Never had Writers block :/ IDK why. But then again I have never stopped thinking. One of those people. Look around you Trolo just look and see you will always find something to make you think and work.
Also, I did have writers block until Troloe posted his recent past.
What did you think? Do I need to add more? I mean I will have to later on as characters come up but for this RP I doubt there will be any more unless it's importen and nothing that will brake the flow like a needed character in the cluch. Only when it matters, no Dex Monica stuff because that would just be a cheap way out xD
