Game won't launch: Server returned HTTP response code 502

When I click on the "play" link, java loads then displays this error:

"The application has failed to launch due to the following error: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://download.threerings.net/spiral/20110415013205/digest.txt"

I've tried downloading the client and the same error comes up as soon as I launch. In both cases it says "0% complete" for all it's worth. Is this a server issue? My java is completely up to date.

Going full screen seemed to crash my game so I came here to the forum to find some solutions. Sadly the solution with the registry keys didn't work. I found the solution however. I figured out it was not the game's fault but the application Java.

You have to update Java by going to www.java.com

This fixed my problem

Issue loading dungeons

I frequently have issues loading dungeons. After finishing a level or joining a game I am sometimes greeted with either a black screen or a loading screen which won't move. After these incidents I am usually forced to wait at the login screen with the "Heading Home" message. After returning to the game I find that my energy is consumed.

Here are my specs:

Windows 7
AMD Phenom 2 N950 Quad Core
ATI Radeon 5650
4 GB Ram
I have a 1 mbps connection, this issue occurs when I am wired to my router.
All drivers are up to date.

Instant close

To anyone who can help : I've been looking forward to spiral knights for quite some time. I just got done downloading it. (The current date is Sunday, April 17th) i have completely downloaded the game to a full 100% but whether i try to start it from the desktop or the website I get the same results. It opens for a couple of seconds. But all that shows up is a plain black screen ( with the border , minimize icon, maximize icon etc.) . Then after a few seconds the program closes. If i try to start it back up it repeats the same thing.

Hi im running windows 7 starter,and when i load up the game i find that the mouse is innaccurate and i cant see what i type into the user and password fields!please help! (btw im using a samsung nc10 netbook if that helps)

for my documents and stuff. I was wondering if I need to archive
anything from SK in order to keep my knight.

Trojan Viruses

Every time i try to open the game, my anti viruses pick's these 2 .dll as viruses.

jinput-raw.dll
jinput-dx8.dll

Trojan.Win32.Generic

I tried putting the folder as of white list and it worked temperately till my scan went off and deleted those 2 files. Now i have to re download it to make it work, any solutions>?

Can't use email support

When I tr to email support I always get internal error has occured. This has been happening fo a while now.
