I recently had to erase Spiral Knights from my computer and re-install it. It now starts up and changes my Windows 7 theme to the Aero one on it's own, sort of like it does if you start something in Compatibility Mode. However, I have no Compatibility Mode enabled at all and never have. It is not enabled on the shortcut, or in the game, and the truly weird thing is still does this even if I start it up from the site. It never did this before I re-installed it.

Any ideas? Solutions?

So, my computer is well above the minimum requirements to run this game, and I have read many of the posts on this thread so far. I also have done everything that the very first post on the thread says to do, but I am still running into this problem. when i launch the game, either in browser, or from the install, i get this error:

0% complete
The application has failed to launch due to the following error:
Unexpected end of file from server

Pleas visit
for information on how to handle such problems.

First of all, one thing I want to make clear: this is *NOT* another typical "game won't start" thread. I am still able to run Spiral Knights just fine in both Windowed and Fullscreen mode at every given resolution.

My problem is starting Spiral Knights IN Fullscreen mode. Whenever I try it this way, I get the generic "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working" error message, and Spiral Knights closes (duh). After doing the regedit trick to set full_screen to "false" -- yes, I did read the pinned thread first -- it starts up perfectly fine.

ok so here is my problem every once and a while in a loading screen it stops loading at around 97% and then my computer blue screens and then restarts. i am using my IBM thinkpad t43 laptop, which meets all the requirements. what is happening? is this a bug or something else?

So recently we went over the download limit at my house, and the speed of our connection has been drastically reduced. Web browsing/downloading is much slower, but it usually doesn't affect my online gaming.

I can solo fine, and I can play super brawl with 3 other players, with no more lag than normal.

Even when soloing, the game will sometimes freeze (i can still move, but everything else stops). This usually happens when there are too many projectiles being created at once, i.e. when more than two gun puppies are firing at once.

Hello people, im Fire on the game, and i just learned a way to remove some lag from the game.

and i pickuped some part from there.
This worked for me:

You will need to try and set Spiral Knights to its minimum display settings:

1. Close Spiral Knights (if it's running).
2. Click on the 'Start' menu and then click on 'Run'.

That's what it says. Video driver is updated and I easily match the requirements. Also updated Java. What could be the problem?

Yesterday i was playing fine but today i can't open my game through icons.

I'm getting lots of heat for other equips, but my lvl 9 Khorovod doesnt gain any, as if it's already lvl 10. Is there something wrong with this?

When logging in at the character selection page all i see are the shadows and the image of the white outline of the knight (horse logo behind)... when i select the area where the character i wish to play with, it shows below... heading to town... when i get to town all i see is black and green mists.... map in upper right corner shows that i'm in arcade, i can't even see my character or avatar on screen. can't even see the gates the npc's... please advise.... thanks....
