I recently made another thread that introduced a new game mechanic. This would have been a massive change to the game, adding a lot of new content and potential play time for post-vanguard players. However, I was convinced to alter that idea slightly into what I will post here. The other thread will stay up and continue to be updated, and you may choose which you prefer (I will not accept both being added to the game).

the ability to break down equipment into alchemy orbs

an ability to break down equipment into alchemy orbs would be useful. if i want to replace my weapon, i could break down my current weapon into 3 alchemy orbs so that i wouldn't have to buy or hunt for them.

it first hit my head after some guy threw a baseball at my head, what if someone who reported you wanted to drop the report? what if you were permanently banned after getting reported by some guy, but decided that you learned your lesson and wanted you to come back to spiral knights? im thinking that those who reported you have their own right to decide if they wanted would like to drop the complaint in case someone miss clicked or something. I really like that idea :D

Have 5* weapons be about on par with 4* weapons at level 1. As mentioned in this topic, http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/92085, 5* weapons are so much worse than 4* weapons that they are "upgraded" from that it breeds hatred and people feel cheated. This leveling system is very counter intuitive and never made sense except as a way to try and get people to buy heat amplifiers and extra weapons slots just to make the weapon not a joke. It feels horrible using the downgraded weapons.

Make a Mistletoe Shield

Swiftstrike Buckler recolor but:

"A shield that will spread Winterfest joy by packing more than kisses this season."

Basically, it's a literal Mistletoe that shares the same stats as the Swiftstirke Buckler.

SK plot improvement

So the skylark is finally about to be fixed when a mysterious dark energy destroys it utterly.While the knights' hopes are flattened,the spiral techs manage to create a satellite and send it into orbit.This causes strange floating plots of land to gather up near the planet.Oh noes!!!1! I forgot to mention that the satellite is fitted with a teleporter.Anyways,the land formation is revealed to be another cradle and together they are able to cause an EMP blast which can cause any rescue ships to fail in doing their one job.

So anyways, there's. bald ice cube named Hubert or something and next to him is a geo knight saying something about how certain monsters are attracted to certain minerals. So I suggest that when knights are carrying certain minerals, certain monsters are more easily aggroed by them and/or are more attracted to them. Other minerals would reduce a monster's attraction to the knight and/or make them less easily aggroed by them.

Play Blind

You know those indicators that we get that speak to the amount of health or shield integrity we have at the top left part of the screen with either the red pips or the blue bar? Why can we not turn those off but I can turn off the enemy health display or the gauge that tells me when my weapon is charged? Can we have such a thing as an option as well?
