Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

There's not a whole lot to explain here: I think it would be great if there were more 'boss' monsters. Currently we've just got the Tortodrone and the Trojan (who's more of a miniboss, really). There's also that fiend lord, but no one's been able to fight him in forever.

It'd be really cool to have more enemies like the Tortodrone: solitary monsters with huge hp and multiple powerful attacks. Fighting multiple waves of gremlins is alright, but every time I face off with a Tortodrone I have a memorable fight.

Should enemies killed with a sword drop better stuff than those killed with guns?

(and maybe bombs?)

Okay, so something that has been bothering me is how much the game encourages use of guns. Guns are just better. They are much less risky to use, and make your enemies just as dead. For the most part enemies aren't good at avoiding your shots.

Pretty much whenever there is a dangerous situation, it's better to keep your distance and shoot at it. Or better yet, heard the enemies behind a half wall so you can shoot them without worrying about their projectiles hitting you.

Remove drops from unreachable enemies

Enemies that drop items out of reach are not awesome

For example, there are some areas where Gun Puppies are on platforms that a player can't access. When you kill them they drop stuff (yay!) but you can't obtain the stuff they drop (gah!).

It would be nice if, once you kill all the enemies in the immediate area or something, paths open up that allow you to walk over and collect your spoils.

The Cradle is more of a game lobby than a world

So, feel free to slow me down if I'm getting way ahead of where the game should be at this point, but there's something missing, and it's a really big something.

Let me explain. Right now, it seems the only real objective in the game is to go into the clockworks and fight in the dungeons. That's fun but if that's the whole game it's going to have no lasting appeal. When I'm not in a dungeon the only thing there is to do is chat. I'm not living in this world, I'm passing though it on my way to playing in the dungeons.

Allow Sorting Types for items

Please allow us to sort items in a manner other than alphabetical order. In particular by star-amount would be nice.

PvP Minigames?

One of the most enjoyable aspects of PvE in Spiral Knights is having to use different tactics against different types of enemies. Unfortunately, this wouldn't translate well to PvP: there's not nearly as much variation between players.

Instead, maybe we could have PvP minigames. It would be something to do when you're out of energy but still want to hang out with your friends. Perhaps you could win small amounts of crowns, possibly taken from the losing players a la Arena Minigames in Mario Party.

Energy System

I might be the only one to complain but i really think this is one of the biggest issue.
i take it that most of the peopole are kids and are not willing to pay "real money"
to play this game and waiting 24 hours before u can play is also really annoying.
therefore i suggest the makers to rethink this idea and place themselfs in the peopole that play spiral knights.
A few questions i would like to ask u for that are
Would u like to wait 24 hours?
Do u got the money for energy crystals?

Vial Arena

I think it would be insanely fun to have a vials-only arena. Toss a few knights into a room full of recharging vial pads. For PvP, let us chuck vials at each other until there's a winner. Or, for a fun PvE spin, take the same setup and have monsters siege you from all sides.

Bombs and PvP

I know we don't even have PvP yet, but I predict that if we did it would be broken because of bombs. Imagine two knights fighting in 1-on-1 PvP. What does the fight look like?

I imagine the knights start with shields and guns: shoot - shoot - block - shoot. The knights converge on each other and the swords come out. Each knight starts swinging. There's no reason to move apart, so the swinging continues until the match is over.

Wait, aren't there alternatives? I don't think so.
- What about switching to bombs? No way. There's no time to charge a bomb. You'd be destroyed.
