Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

What do you think about weapon evolves when it reaches the lvl max?

Or just keep evolving, and when it reachs the lvl max, it will get the perfect form, i'll give an exemple:

>>>lvl 2 to lvl 4 = it glows, some random color

>>>lvl 5 to lvl 7 = it starts to evolve, it gets more agressive, not that much 'cause still lvl 7

>>>lvl 8 to lvl 10 = it gets the perfect form, agressive and shiny

I know what I'm asking for is something annoying, since you DEVs have to create new 3D models, but think about it, i guess its a good suggestion and would improve the desire to play.

Weapon Balance

Besides the fact that guns are often better than swords (except against Gremlins), there's imbalance between different types of swords. Specifically, the Brandish and Spur, a pair of 2-star swords, have a better damage output than the Khorovod and Vile Striker, both 4-star swords. The Vile Striker in particular is nearly useless, since its lack of knockback means you can never finish its combo, and it doesn't even poison that often.

Who even knows how much better the Faust and Avenger (or even the Sealed Sword) would be if anyone could actually get one.

New default controls for moving and shooting

I want to suggest that a new set of default controls for moving and shooting be selected.

Reading posts from various people on the forum indicates that people do get stuck in the middle of fights. Just watching other people when playing shows that sitting and firing is common.

Running away while firing isn't easy with the default setup. Yes, "click to move" is simple. But if people learn "click to move", then trying to aim and fire while backing up is hard. There is no default setting for "Move backwards", and I'm not sure what a good setting would be.

Im not sure if this was already suggested but here goes..
u see it would be cool if we could do more than just kill to go further.

its about final fantasy echoes of time. U see a girl use magic to break ice with fire and make water into ice also she pushes a rock to activate a trigger.

Low level recipes

So far I've seen a few level 3 recipes, all of which cost 100 energy and 800 crowns to run. And, one level 2 recipe, which uses 50 energy and 400 crowns.

So, with that progression, level 1 recipes would be 25 and 200, and level 0 recipes would be 12 and 100.

Allow party to split at rest stops

So on the 4th depth down, you get to a rest stop, and can go up or down.

But right now the entire party has to go up or down. You can't have some people go to the up elevator and others to the down elevator.

Tonight, I had to use "leave party". Does doing this cost me anything? Do I have everything when this happens?

Unbinding Weapons and Armor

Right now, if you want to trade an item that is bound to you, well, you can't... directly. You can, however, use it as a component to a more powerful item, and trade that item instead. That way, bound items aren't completely worthless.

But what if you don't have or don't want to spend all the required materials for the next upgrade?

I have actually two suggestions, depending on the intention of the system.

Move Trade Window Above Chat

It's really hard to chat while the trade window is open. If it could be moved up a bit, or if it could be movable by the player, that would be great.
