im sure that about a bajillion people have done this kind of thread before, but what the heck. and i swear that this thread is more interseting than those other pet threads. i think. haven't read any of them lately. meh. it'll still be entertaining, if not interesting.

and before u read the rest, i apologize for my horrible grammer.

u can equipt 3 pets at a time. u can upgrade them all to more powerful ones, sort of like crafting.

Devilite: in order to tame one, you must be fighting some devilites. u need to dodge one of their projectiles so that it hits a pit boss. the pit boss gets mad and fires him.the fired devilite sits down on the ground, depressed. it's possible to kill the fired devilite. he won'tfight back because hes to depreseed. ater the battle, u go up to him and have a talk with him. maybe something like this.

Devilite: go away.
you: why?
devilite: i got fired. so im really depressed.
you: ...
devilite: my mom always told me to work for King Krogmo, not a Pit boss. bu did i listen? noooo.
you: i can hire you.
devilite: u can?
you: yeah.
devilite: yayz! but i wanna be paid.
then u agee on a salary of cr (maybe like 100 cr per usesage of him. devilites dont work for cheap). now he is your friend and he can help you. strangely, he goes into your backpack. you can equipt him only at haven or terminals. once he dies, you have to get a new one. derp. if he dies, you must send his family 500cr for services rendered. if you have 2+ devilites, you can upgrade one to a pit boss. its like crafting. the pit bosses can upgrade devilites to yesmen or overtimers, but this goes away after the floor is over.

gremlin

go down to emberlight and find a wandering gremlin. talk to him. since the gremlins have their own language, say that this one is fluent in spiralnese. or cradleish. or what ever they speak on cradle.

gremlin: AAAAHHHHH!!!!!
you: ???
gremlin: oh. nvm. you're not King Tinkinzar.
you:...
gremlin: i dont like king tinkinzar. none of us here in emberlight do. but im the only one who wants to fight back.
you: you can come with me
grelin: really? YAYZ!
you: okay. lets go
gremlin: wait. i dont got any weapons

at this point, you musst give him a gremlin related weapon (wrench wand, darkfang shield, pulsar, cactalyzer, deconstucter, etc). he can have a shieldand a weapon or two weapons at a time. now he goes into your backpack and stays there, waiting for you to call on him. if he dies in battle, the weapons u equipted him with go poof. but they have a small chance of reapearring in your backpack instead of going poof. however, the gremlins are powerful fighter, so its very unlikely for him to die unless you do an arena solo with him, u die, and he need to face the last wave of the 3rd arena by himslef. or something like that. u can upgrade them into ironclaws and darkfangs.

constructs: buy the kits from a vendor, or smash constructs in the clockworks for construct building pieces. once u have enough, u can build a construct, sort of like crafting. the only unavailabe ones are lumbers and gun puppies. the lumbers r to pro, and gun puppies will be useless once there r no more enemies cause it will be stuck in the ground, unable to get up and move. usless u can pick it up like a key and move it. yeah. thats a good idea. as for mecha knights, you have to equipt them with weapons and shields. they can be equpted with anyoneof them. when your construct dies, pieces drop from it. they can be used to build a retrode, one of those zombie robots. when the retrode dies u can rebuild it again. and again. and again. and so on and so forth. however, each time u rebuild it, the cost rises. and rises. so dont do this often.

beast: for a wolver, smash it until it flops to the ground. sometimes, when they r suppose to die, they just lay there, wounded. you fix them with monster bnes and critter carapaces and all that stuff. it becomes loyal to u can helps u ight, een though u tried to kill it. it goes into your backpack until call on it.
cromalisks: same as wolver. when its supposed to die, it just lays on the ground with its tongue sticking out. heal it and it becomes your companion.
if u have 2 wolvers or 2 chromalisks, they can reproduce and you have a new pet!! yay. howev er becuse of this ability, the beast pets are the weakest pets. also, if u have +2 wolvers, u can upgrade one to a alpha wolver.

greavers: Maybe in treasure boxes, a very very very very very very rare item can be a Greaver egg. or maybe in lockboxes. it hatches and u get a greaver! they cannot reproduce.

jellies: when u fight the jk and it dies, all the jellies helping it die. but sometimes one regular jelly survives and comes to your side because it didn't like the king and secretly wanted to help anyone who killed him for him. when he dies, sometimes royal minies spawn from its remains to serve u, and when they die, then thats it.

lichens: have no idea how to obtain except from buying it from a vendor. if u have 2+ licens, u can have them morph and grow bigger and bigger. the more it grows, the harder to kill.

trojans: untamable

undead: untamable

snipes: herd all the snipes in haven into a concentrated area. when that happens, a curious snipe that u have been herding comes out of the crowd and flies onto you head. congrates. u know have a snipe. snipes do nothing except sit on your head. think of them as a costume. unlike other pets, u can equipt as many of these birds as u like.

all the pets do their respective damages (jelies and beast do pierce, constructs do elemental, etc.).

u can upgrade the pets into the next tier, and each time u do, your pet has a chance of becoming a status type (ex: chromalisk becomes a salamader, wolver becomes a rabid wolver, greaver becomes ruby greaver, etc).
