Week 13 - Mini Contest #3 - The Origin of Names
The alias 'Engravement' isn't an original word, so I probably lose creativity points there. It was a long thought from years ago when I was making that big step of becoming an internet-goer and not just a lurker. I wasn't all for the lighthearted or anime-oriented aliases that I saw regularly, and I didn't want to be just another funny person. I wanted people to acknowledge what work I would have done, to realise that what I had to say would had meaning, to remember what I would leave for them if ever I were to leave.
"I want to be remembered."
To engrave is to put forth one's effort, belief, passion, and legacy onto the world for people to spectate, consider, scoff, admire, and remember. That is the reason I don the alias 'Engravement'.
On the Contest
I am working on it. I've been thwarted many times by school and real life events, but I'll be sure to hand in an entry by the deadline. I tend to hug deadlines a lot.
