I think it is boring that if you want a normal type gun, you have to get Blaster or autogun!

So... an idea is to make more different types of guns:

Shotgun:
Works like a normal shotgun, damages much at close range, lesser at distance

it shoots 10 bullets
reaches 5 squares
and spreeds 30 degrees
2 shots, then reload

Assault rifle:
Fires 20 weak shots in the same speed as autogun just straight forward

reaches 10 squares
90 % accuracy

Sniper:
Fires 1 strong shot forward

reaches 16 squares
100% accuracy
no scope (reason: would make a whole new perspective when scoping)

Normal handgun:
Fires 6 shots

reaches 8 squares
fast reload
good accuracy
