Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Clockwork Chess

We all ready know what chess is right? good
how about a spiral knights version but with rewards

Players could place bets up to 50k crowns or 2000 energy.
Spectate matches as usual, we can use bots as chess pieces.

Pawns would wear a fencing jacket and a spiral sallet.

Rooks would wear Ironmight plate mail set

Knights would wear Warden armor set + shield (http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Spiral_Warden) these guys not the costume.

Bishops would wear Divine veil set

King would wear Almirian Crusader set

Queen would wear Sacred Sentinel set

New content creation without dev's work.

Hi everyone,
How about add a new level theme modifier : Purple chaos (ref. to void color)

A purple background (under the lvl's icon) mean you can encounter randomly themed enemies.

Example : A mechanic level with this modifier can contain all mechanic variant enemies (poison, fire, shock, freeze and curse)
And this level can also have multiple status trap on same time. (spike, fire trap, poison trap ...)

This mechanic add more difficulty to the T3 endgame. So it can only appears under deep 18.

Allow for mods!

Really, the most successful games seem to have some sort of modding system. No, I don't know how this could be implemented without allowing users to host their own servers. However, by letting the community make stuff (even if the modding UI is pretty bad), SK should last a whole lot longer!

Better Fire Crystal crafting

Am i the only one with more than a thousand units of, Very useless fire crystals? (Cracked, Dim, (somewhat) Glowing). And in dire need of the higher level ones? Why cant there be a way to craft the higher level crystals with lower ones, instead of crafting lower leveled ones with higher ones.

Obsidian Weapon Monster Deaths:

The Edge, Carbine, and Crusher are made from the very essence of the Apocrea. As such, killing an enemy with then should have its own...possessive effect.

What I'm proposing is this:
Whenever a Monster (excluding obvious ones like Bosses, Souls, Battlepods, Wheel Launchers, or Phantoms) is killed by an Obsidian weapon, a brief scene without collisions plays that opens up a rift underneath the monster, immobilizing them, and drags then down into it with the Hands of the Harvester's attack. The Apocrean Gaze sound plays shortly before the monster vanishes.

Differentiation in Shielding animation

The current Shield particle is a bubble. While the bubble is a perfect design, there are more emaesthetic features that it could possess.

Alteration 1: Cracks.
Whenever hit, instead of turning a different color, the Shield bubble would gain a "cracked" look that increased with every increment of damage it took. For example, instead of changing color, a crack would appear/lengthen at a fixed point on the Shield bubble. Turning while shielded would cause the cracks to move as well.
As the shield regenerated, the cracks would steadily disappear, essentially lengthening in reverse.

Differentiation in "Charge" animation:

The Charging animation for weapons is cool. It's a bright yellow, radiant orb that gradually becomes larger until its signature 'shearing' sound marks a full charge.
However, while impressive-looking, what I'm proposing would change the Charge particle effect in numerous ways.

Spiral Knights has a GREAT POTENTIAL - Why not to do the same thing as League of Legends DID?!

I was playing SK and saw that this game is close to be the same as Phantasy Star Online (Blue Burst and 2 for PC).. Why SK dev do not do the same thing as League of Legends did? They just copied Dota and Dota 2 and got alot of $$$$$$. Spiral Knight would do the same with Spiral Knights (PSO). They can make a Child Version of PSO to low-end machines and take some game mechanics from PSO. Would be GREAT.

Yeah, i'm playing DIRT.

Monster Cage crown sinks

Guild Hall Furnishings are sweet, right? Pets, even more so. So what I'm proposing is a Monster Cage item that costs about as much as a Curious Mewkat during a Flash sale. It's meant to be a group-funded project, as with every other Hall furnishing.
Y'all ever play Pokémon? Heck, who am I kidding; there's no way you haven't heard of the capture system.
