Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

A compromise on Stratum 6 Fire Crystal Drops

There is a lot of debate on the fire crystal dropping in Stratum 6. Some players want shinings to continue to drop there, others want more radiants. So I have come up with a compromise:

Have both radiants and shinings drop in ALL of stratum 6, with radiants dropping more than shinings.
Maybe a ratio of radiants and shinings at 2:1, or 3:1.

Working up the tortofists

So I've been playing with the tortofists lately and I've come to the conclusion that these weapons aren't actually that bad. However, there are a lot of moments while using them that will turn people off almost immediately, and over time you come to know what they are more.

Guns for the Breaker sets

I just feel that every armor set should have weapons that go with it, which is where I was going with the variants for the defensive set swords - Ice Jelly sword is for the Ice Queen set, Shock Jelly swords are for the Quicksilver line, Divine Wand is for the Divine set, and the Unstable Wand is for the Chaos set.

New level and monsters

First off lets start with the new level. Of all the different biomes and environments on Cradle we have yet to come across a swamp.

Basics:
Instead of edge of floors there will be the edge of REALLY DEEP water indicated by it's darker color, this will function like an edge of the map to the players yet certain monsters can go over it.

Next is the regular Deep water, this will not cover your knight but it will be fairly high. When players are in the Deep water their movement is slightly reduced.

Bonus boxes

I've been saying this for a while now, but I figure I'll say it now before we get our next promo and it already has the frameworks set up.

It would be wonderful if we could have a large difference between purchasable prize boxes, and bundled bonus prize boxes. Standard recolors for promotions are great as standalone boxes. However, boxes that have a high chance to not give you your money's worth ($5 =/= 20k crowns) are a bad practice.

Mimic Mob

I logged in after a few months (...year...) and found myself enjoying the game again. I liked trying to relearn the game, fight my way around some unfamiliar missions with unfamiliar gear. Until we hit a treasure room. Most players are overjoyed when they realize it's an entire level with nothing but green and purple boxes, but I found myself bored. Even with the Kleptolisks running around, it felt too easy. There was no threat to it. Story wise, if the levels are all full of dangerous monsters, why is this one floor type safe?

Design or redesign an interesting armor/shield using existing stats

We recently discussed the armor situation in this thread- http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/111775

And the main point that Fangel and I made was that armor needs to be interesting as well as balanced, which is what this thread is to be about- designing and critiquing ideas for neat armor. Since these are fairly fun to come up with and can be centralized here instead of spread out in 20 million threads, this thread could become quite instrumental.

A few pointers as to how these should be written-
1. Try to avoid too much lore or whatnot. Just raw ideas for balance.

5* Forge problem. (Radiant Fire Crystal)

Greetings! I believe this topic has been around this forum, but I think that Rad is hard to get! You can get Shining, Glowing, Warm, Dim, and Cracked fire crystal can be crafted accordingly. Radiant is unable to be crafted. So Rad should drop more then shining. That's my suggestions, if you don't agree just leave it for others.

How to bring back the old arcade system (which make Valestone/Moonstone useful)

I thought of an idea which could bring back the old arcade system where people can once again deposit minerals.

There would be 3 new types of minerals: An orange one, a brown one and a light pink (Not brilliant at coming up with names although I've stuck the the traditional types "ite", "stone" and well, "matter").

Brown - Thoezite
Light pink - Light Matter
Orange - Meristone
