So, most if not all of us know that the Sleep Status is currently not in the game although it used to be. The large reason for why it was removed was because it was overpowered but abusable in the right circumstances. The Sleep status acted like Freeze in a sense as it prevented movement but it also prevented players from attacking as well meaning that getting hit once with sleep in a Solo party would be a death sentence.
No, I'm not saying add it and the Slooms back in (though I would like that, if the status is ever fixed).
I'm saying add in areas randomly in Lichenous Lairs and Clockwork Tunnels that are similar to the areas seen there, except with a different background and the Slooms would be replaced with the correct theme Lichens, and the Sloombargos would be replaced with Giant Lichen Colonies (or, in poison levels, Toxilargos).
To keep it short and sweet: let's be completely real here, Celestial Shield is currently the worst (complete) shield in the game besides Iron Buckler and Scale Shield. Yes, the very worst, worse than all the other 1*, 2*, 3*, 4*, and 5* shields, and even worse than Proto Shield (Proto Shield can not shield bump, thus allowing a player to freely abuse shield cancels, which is one certain niche that it fills, whereas Celestial Shield has none).
1: Add a Curse weakness
2: Reduce all status penalties by 2/3rds
Why?
Mad Bomber offers the same strength buffs as Chaos with one less status penalty and is limited to 1/3rd the weapons. Give it Curse penalty and reduce all the status penalties on it to 1/3rd what it is now.
Since you only get 1/3rd the boost as Chaos you should only get 1/3rd the status penalty.
