I had this problem that i only had 1 helm (spiral scale helm)
and i wanted to make a drake scale helm.
But before i could do that i had to take off my helm just to insert it in the alchemy thingy. No problem right? WRONG! I had to freakin buy a cheap helm in haven because noone else had one for sale for a cheap price, and i was like omg.....
so yh i was stuck in haven till i had enough energy to get back to emberlight which was so lame.. because my passes were also expired.

Hire a robot

In Haven i have seen a robot with a Energy button on his head..
i was sort of thinking if u guys were making it possible for knights
to hire robots to fight with them in battle?
If not then it sounds look a cool idea to me don't ya think?
Like pay 10 energy for the robot to join you, just i would have no idea
how you would figure thinks out with its Health, and other things it could have.
Cause paying for the robot the elevators is kinda lame so maybe u just pay him once to travel with u all the way.
And this does mean that the maximum players are 4 but as addition u could

Duration of travel pass

Instead of 7 calendar days, how about something like:

6 login days (don't penalize people who don't play a lot), or
5 days of going into dungeons (don't penalize people who log in to socialize or alchemize), or
4 uses, or
3 days of use (benefit to using it more than once on a given day)

Berserk mode or Special move (both?)

a limit bar that shows how long u have to wait or how many
orbs u need to gather b4 u can use ur berserk mode or special move
how cool would be that?
in berserk mode u would be overpowered and smash monsters everyway
a special move u would do things like 1 huge slash that hits alot of monsters.
or just special moves like in super smash bros brawl u know :P
how cool would this be?

Reduce the cost of playing in Moorcroft

As I understand it, and please correct me if I'm wrong:

If I want to make runs from Haven to Moorcroft, there is no charge per run.

If I want to make runs from Emberlight to the core, there is no charge per run.

If I want to make runs from Moorcroft to Emberlight, there is a charge of 1,000 per run.

And it's worse.

If I want to run from Emberlight to the core, then in theory, after finishing the Emberlight dungeon, before the core, I have a level where I can return to Emberlight.

Coin Sink-Gate Production

I was thinking, and I have a good coin sink idea
When placing minerals in gates you need to place in crowns too
Like a vending machine sort of thing
This would require taking away the heat and crowns given once a gate is made
I just see this being exploited later
Players throw in massive amounts of minerals they saved
Instant money thrown at them in large amounts
Instead, we could receive a map of a level or two, and the depth of that map depends on how many minerals you threw in
This map would show what the level looks like, for the random maps just the parts

weapon consumables

what if there were pickups you could get that added a status affect to all your weapons for 5, 10 seconds or something

IE you use a curse flavored weapon doohickey and for a little bit ALL your shots/sword swings/bombs have a strong chance to curse monsters (on top of their normal affect)

also maybe +X% elemental/shadow/whatever damage while they're active

Equipment Repair - Coin Sink

Currently we have no coin costs that are necessary to play like we do energy (elevators). I'd suggest a system where our equipment takes damage dependent on use and the severity of the hits we're taking. I'm not suggesting something that makes it unprofitable at all, just a system that requires you to sink crowns at a reasonable rate. Yes, this is done in other games, and the reason is that they need to pull money out of the economy. While people may balk at having to pay something, it's better in the long run to have various crown sinks (some mandatory) to balance out the energy sinks.

Joining existing parties -- time factor

Recently a change was made to prevent joining a party when the level was nearly done.

I'd like to make a suggestion on that: The default join should not be based on time-age of a level, but on completion. So far, every level I've seen has had an "all party" button around the half way mark. That looks like the best place to say "You can join before this, but not after this."

Better way to join a friend

If you are at a gate, and have the default "join existing party" settings, then instead of randomly being assigned to a party or to a new group, how about displaying all of the parties with your friends, and then all (some?) of the other parties that you are eligible to join.

Along with this, an indication of "how old" that level is -- so you know if you are joining an early level or a late level.

Right now, it really isn't clear. I just saw at firefly that I had a friend in the dungeon -- so I tried to join, only to wind up on the party formation level.
