Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Sidequests, collection quests, minigames etc.

Stop me if I'm expecting the beta to be too complex and this stuff is already being planned. (I took note of the broken robot dude in the Haven bazaar and assume it already is.)

After playing for a fair bit, I'm coming to realize that the game has few things in the order of in-game distractions/sidequests/minigames. Beyond material collection/alchemy and gate building, there are few other facets other than the straightforward exploration and fighting. It would be great to have some sidequests/collection quests to mix things up and encourage more NPC interaction.

Energy powered weapons and armor?

What if there was pieces of equipment who's full potential can only be unlocked through energy? This doesn't need to be debilitating for free players either.

Say the max you can reach is level 5 on these special pieces of gear. To reach beyond that threshold, you need to imbue it with energy and thus allowing you to further level it to it's max level.

I'd recommend this being for weapons that have multi-stage charge up moves or armor and weapons with a higher than normal stat growth.

Item loss at the End fo the Preview

Kymroi's Suggestion Fortress

These are just suggestions. If all were put in then the game would be unbalanced, mix and match as you choose to find which sounds best. If you have any post them. Ideas and suggestions for my list can also be posted. It would be great to get other peoples opinions on this too.

A lot of these intertwine together just to let you know. Its not dejavu, its repetition.

Energy Gates and Capsule Stations

After getting halfway to Emberlight and from Emberlight on I cannot remember EVER encountering an energy gate or a capsule dispenser.

In fact I've only ever encountered a capsule dispenser once.

So, I'm not sure how you feel about this but it does seem odd the first 8 depths or so seem to have at least 1 a level and then they just vanish.

Heat gain is now awful.

As the subject says. Wow is heat gain awful now.

I can clear an entire level around depth 14/15 and have a huge burning heat whirl and maybe a pixel will be added to my gear.

Which isn't to say I want easy mode. But at the rate it is at now it feels like mega ultra grind MMO mode, which is a whole lotta blah.

Also I'm soloing so I don't know if other players are getting a heat bonus in parties or not. If not I can only imagine how little heat people are getting after yesterdays update.

Demons

Okay, here's my problem with demons.

Every enemy I've encountered can be interuppted. That is if you finish your sword weapon's combo (or you're just using the Khorovord) then they hiccup and have to restart an attack, the same as a knight does when they're charging and get hit.

NOW here's the problem with Demons - they throw stuff.

So, as soon as they pull something out, it is going flying. EVEN IF YOU KILL THEM.

Which is, in my opinion a fairly large problem. They're like a combination of wolvers and gun puppies. Which is just brutal.

Using health capsules

Consider allowing players to utilize health and antidote items while on the move.

Usually in the time it takes me to hit a hotkey, the enemy will have caught up to me and managed to knock off some of the health I just got back, only because I'm locked in place.

collecting heat and crowns when you leave a level

i collected together heaps of heat, minerals, materials and crowns but i didn't want to go to the next level and waste 10 energy so i figured it would be alright if i just clicked go to haven.. but i missed out on all my stuff! (or at least my minerals and heat)

maybe there should be a button you can click after each level that gives you the choice to either continue or just leave?

It would be great if it was possible to see what members of your guild are online under the Social Panel.
