Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Danger Missions

They currently aren't worth doing for the following reasons:

1. Very hard
2. Little loot
3. Not deep enough for radiant fire crystals

I got 3 simple ideas that can help with this problem:

1. Make it like the Grinchlin Assault's final treasure room that has a single box in the middle that has a chance to contain a gear piece matching the theme of the mission. For example...

C42: Vile Striker, Ash of Agni, Deadly Virtulisk Mask, etc...
GitM: Volt Driver, Volcanic Plate Mail,Grey Owlite Shield, etc...
HoI: Glacius, Wild Hunting Blade, Mega Magnus, etc...

And so on...

Designing a new sleep themed danger mission

GOALS:

-To make sleep themed armors a worthwhile investment
-To provide a challenge for players that comes with great rewards (prestige + some rads)
-To expand upon the sleep status
-To provide a danger mission that favors normal damage

To begin with, I want to look at what armors and items we have for dealing with sleep-

--Royal jelly set--
This grants good resistance vs piercing, normal, and stun/sleep

New Weapon Ideas

We've had the same weapons for a long time now, all we've gotten are new variants. Here are some of my ideas.

Laser Gun Line
The 2* version will be obtained from twins and the recipes from basil. Laser gun line's basic attack will pierce through 2 enemies before disappearing. It's charge attack will prevent the player from moving and will fire a laser just like the twins, it will pierce infinitely and last about 3 seconds. Has elemental shock, elemental fire, and elemental ice variants

UI scaling

So, I've found a few posts about this, the most recent being ~4 years ago, before Grey Haven

I know GH are more concerned with content updates rather than technical updates right now, but I believe SK is long past due for a UI scaling option. This is my current condition.
Press F11 when viewing for fullscreen, and that is exactly what I see.

Make the entire team invisible to the enemy team in lockdown, not just bombs

I think this suggestion will balance lockdown because:

1. Being able to see in lockdown prevents truly great gameplay
2. Weapons like polaris that are mostly just pure spam need a serious buff
3. Invisible bomb spam would be incredible, and would make bombs great again compared to swords
4. I just hate swords because lets face it, the bombs are cooler.
5. This will encourage the use of guardians, which would be able to actually do their job on occasion, since no one would know they were there.

Loadout Quality of Life Changes (Costumes and Edit)

Since we've had so many quality of life updates lately, I figured this would be a huge one that would be amazing for players:

Make loadouts have two drop-down categories, one called "Costume", one labeled "Loadout". Costumes would act as a loadout, but it would simply overwrite the player's costume items instead of every item.

From here, allow players to have an "overwrite" option in their loadout that will make the current loadout overwrite the one that is selected. This is to allow edits to loadouts without having to re-create the loadout and set it to the proper PvP setting.

Gear prismafication

I propose a feature that can change part of the coloration of all Normal-damage weapons and shields to the player's color. The feature is optional, and thus toggleable. Of particular interest are the Normal Tortodrone items, the Swiftstrike Buckler, the Iron Slug, the Defender series, and the Calibur series.

Boss Rush

I wonder why this idea wasn't put in the game already? It's a no brainer.
You take the bosses, you put them in a giant arena and the players beat 'em up. What's not to love?
Players could fight the regular bosses, story bosses and even the shadow lair bosses, and maybe add two modes:
Regular Boss Rush: Where players recover health after every fight.
and Hardcore Boss Rush: Where players fight each boss in a row with no break room in between, if players feel suicidal.

Cracked Core - Extending Arcade runs beyond d29

This suggestion aims to touch on the following staples of Spiral Knight Suggestions:

  • Addition to the Arcade
  • Swarm themed content
  • Radiant Crystal farming

"Due to a gremlin's greed, the core is unsealed and knights will now see an effect from this in the lower Clockworks."

What is the suggestion

What I envision is the ability for arcade runs to dip into the Core for 3 levels: a Dreams and Nightmares-style randomized floor, a multi-round arena floor, and a treasure floor that would return players to Haven upon completion.

Stormy Price Boxes were great. It's been 5 years.
Pls redo with the same content.
I would buy some boxes, if they are exactly the same. If they are a bit different, i would still consider it.
