Armor Aesthetic Changes

Way too many times I have looked at a helmet and armor combination and have been like "Wow! These'll look great together." Only to be wildly disappointed that a certain pointy bit or collar clips through the other pieces horribly. And you could say "Oh well those pieces aren't in the same set. They weren't made with each other in mind." And I would say "Sure that's a valid point. But wouldn't it be nice if there were certain parts of the armor you could toggle on and off to make them fit? Yeah it would."

Changes To Compounds

Lower level compounds are mostly fine but my issue is with the more advanced ones. Teir 3 compounds are a pain. It's so frustrating to be going strong through the clockworks on elite and then you hit a compound and suddenly you're mobbed with 10 enemies that look easy to fight until you wack them and discover a way too beefy health bar. That coupled with the little bit of input lag Spiral knights seems to have regardless of the network conditions makes the game go from enjoyable to not-so-fun in 2 seconds. It just feels like a weird difficulty spike in an otherwise smoothly scaling game.

Gate Map Macro

While watching Ultimastrike's twitch stream I have finally discovered the existence of the gate map in the options menu. I honestly don't know how I haven't found this in the ~900hrs I've been playing this game, but it is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life. However, for something that I would like to access often, it is fairly annoying to open.

Keys go on key chains, or in key card slots.

I love this game and used to play it a lot. There is 1 thing in the whole game that simply blows the whole thing for me however and that is the idiotically huge floor model keys hanging in mid air across the levels. When I think of a key, I think of a key ring, or a key card that fits in my pocket or at least in a pack. Seeing a 9 foot tall 'key' laying loose on a minimap or main map is 1 thing, that is just denoting on map scale where the thing is located.

Spark of Life modifications

The Spark system is alright as-is, but it could be improved upon. I propose the following:
•Re-instate the hp-revive system, but make it a single-pip transaction of health instead of half. Subsequent revives take more health from the player doing the reviving each time, capping at half of the reviver's hp, but still only granting the recipient a single bar of hp.
Now that that's out of the way,
•Implement Spark Modules, a type of Trinket wherein the abilities of a Spark are altered with it equipped.
-Only one Module trinket can be equipped at a time
•Add the following:

Sporadic, silent featured auctions

I propose a mechanic wherein a Featured auction can be made "silent", to where the highest bidder wins, but nobody can see anyone else's bid.

Toggle Chat Bubbles above Knights

I really wish they would implement a way to disable chat bubbles since we already have our chat on the side, I think I may have made/seen a post a few months back but I couldn't search it up or find it quickly.

Weapon Selection Wheel || Permanent preview which weapons are equipped in each slot.

A tough problem I've came across, as a knight who has almost 3,000 hours sunk into Spiral Knights, and something I can't overcome mentally is that. . .
While having extra Weapon Slots activated (which I always "have" to have a 3rd so I buy one every month as long as I'm active, along with two trinket slots) I run into the problem of not being able to figure out which weapon is where in my equipped slots, and consistently throughout the years have to scramble through my scroll wheel selection and pick out what weapon I'm trying to look for.

Secure Asynchronous Trading Board (a bit anti scam)

It would be nice to have a board, kinda like a reverse AH, for buyers to post offers in crowns or energy to, with an exact item name and a quantity of an item. Maybe even with up to 3 UVs from 9 dropdowns (like [damage bonus vs gremlins][medium][or higher]). The crowns or energy will be charged when posting (like an item in AH) and refunded via mail, if the buyer cancels the offer or it times out.

Secure Trade For Bound Items - Anti Scam

People should be able to put bound items in the trade box, but if somone does, he must additionally confirm the warning "it is bound. all heat will be lost blah blah blah". The other player will then get a message about the unbind fee and must enter enough energy to unbind it to complete the trade.

That way sellers have no reason to ask others to pay unbind upfront, which can be used as an excuse by scammers to get energy.

Also sellers have no risk to pay to unbind an item (and lose its heat) that the buyer then refuses to buy.
