Hazardous Hardcore Mode - Additional Hazards

So with Hardcore Mode, we have seen a lot of hazards. Some are more obvious than others. But how could we make them more interesting?

As it stands, we have a few different forms of hazards. I'll go over these real quick.

HAZARD TYPES

  • Active - Requires the player to remain active to capture a point. Example: rotating bullets on the point.

Dash Cooldown Bonus

As a person who only uses guns, I've realized exactly how useful the dash (Shift + RMB) can be. So my suggestion is a simple, yet very useful one. I believe there should be a stat called "Dash Cooldown Reduction" which, as the name suggests, reduces the cooldown for your dash ability. It would be added to most gunslinger armor sets as well as maybe the wolver set. I think every tier should reduce the cooldown by 1 second.

Low - 1 second reduction, 7 second cooldown
Medium - 2 second reduction, 6 second cooldown
High - 3 second reduction, 5 second cooldown

Greatswords/Parrying Swords, but not exactly what'cha'd think.

Greetings, I am here to suggest, and subsequently get a blitzneedle's worth of holes poked into my idea.

What idea? Greatswords or I guess they'd act like a form of parrying sword.....It was in the topic's title.

Alright, just hear me out. This isn't an idea for a normal type of weapon, this is an idea for a shield replacement.

---How would it work?---
It would be equipped in place of a shield and serve as a way to give people a form of risk/reward gameplay.

Make a newbie mode for newcomers in lockdown

I haven't played lockdown yet due to just entering t3 so I may be biased. Newbie mode would be like hardcore mode so it's a temporary event. In it, UVs and trinkets are temporarily disabled. It would mainly exist to help newer players get into lockdown while keeping the "pissed off players" rating to a minimum.

Set bonuses for shadow lair gear?

Edit: I forgot to add my reasoning as to "why" I think they should have set effects. The reason why is because most of them just seem underwhelming. the Snarbo and Demo Suit are pretty nice already but the others either have too little of an effect (compared to other normal sets) or they have no effect at all. Having them do something cool for equipping both would encourage people to get them and actually use them for more than just a costume over their Black Kat/Chaos sets.

Theoretical ideas for balancing armor via dashing perks

As the title says this forum is about ideas for fixing/balancing armor by having additional effects via dashing, (it would be bashing too, but that might not blend well with LD).

_please post your ideas and critiques, and thank you for your time

KEY
-piece: one piece of armor equipped
-Full: the complete set equipped
-CTR: charge time reduction
-ASI: attack speed increase
-med: medium

-cobalt/azure line: after dashing it buffs the players speed, attack, and defense,lasts 4-6 seconds (2-3 seconds per piece)-(its supposed to be an all round set with some bad base stats)

Feedback regarding the Golden Slime Casino

It's really boring.

Take poker for example. Games last around an hour, maybe two at most. You have some control over your odds of winning based on bluffing, betting, all of that, there is the risk of losing everything you've put in and a chance of gaining many times what you put in out. The game takes some degree of skill to play.

Shadow Lair Revamp

Shadow lairs are kind of stale, so I figured it wouldn't be the worst idea to revamp them. Specifically, I'd love to see your wonderful new level-design skills copy pasting some of those other levels together.

Classes

I know it's used in a lot of games and it's probably been suggested thousands of times at this point, but in my opinion it would be very cool to be able to select a class when you make your character, which would give you certain bonuses for certain weapon types, as well as bonus abilities. It would really give you a reason to use different weapon types more than others, as most players I see use mainly swords, and not very many people use bombs.
