Team Arena Matches

Right now the Coliseum is a free-for-all, I was wondering if it would be possible to do team matches. Matches of 4 vs 4 would be pretty cool. It would even allow for Guilds to take on each other in the Coliseum, nothing like a little competition eh?

To put this thread back on track (as I have been seeing some good ideas), lets try discussing some creative ways of implementing a system as mentioned. Also, try not to mindlessly argue with each other if you do so (as many have done already).

This discussion is now officially about ideas towards implementing such a system, not about arguing for whether or not it's necessary.

Forums: Wiki Section!

Okay I know this has been mentioned before, but... we need a Wiki section for these forums. At least, I think it would be a lot more usable and accessible if there were a place on here to talk about Wiki work. Even people who don't do editing could take a glance every once and a while. I know there's "Talk Pages", but honestly, it's way easier on here. You wont accidentally delete someones chat (can't at all), you don't need to be on two totally different platforms, and I'm sure all us Wiki people are on the forums checking things pretty often anyways.

Stats!

Hey wouldn't it be cool if the game showd us how many monsters we have killed in total? like u killed 10 tree's 15 wolfs 5 skeletons etc etc
and then u see total kills 30
and this way u can like compete which eachothers on who gets the most kills and stuff and maybe give the one with the most kills a price like Crowns bonus!
or rare item idunno.
Would be cool that u see it after u reach a terminal or u reached the core.
just like in Super smash bros brawl u see at the end how much kills and stuff.

accidentally dropping vitapods

It's only happened once or twice and I didn't die even when it did but I've had the misfortune a couple times of spazzing out while shooting things and accidentally throwing my vitapod on the ground! This is particularly unfortunate because it's empty when you pick it back up ):

SUGGESTION:
a) A keybind for 'drop vitapod' (even if unassigned by default) AND
b) An interface option to disable drag-dropping for vitapods

semi-related:
c) Disable clickability on the energy exchange with the same interface option used for b

Using the same idea in PVP zone, wait until every player has loaded and start to play.

OR

While the player waits for the other loading the game, the elevator gates remain closed!

Or both...

I'm saying this to be equal for everyone, specially the guys who love to rush

Horizontal Elevator Movement?

Ive seen this a couple times
My suggestion is to allow it
But when you go between them, use clockwork tunnels
So it would be like

Example I - Example II

You go to example I
For a small fee of energy, like 5 or something
You can go through a clockwork tunnel that connects to example II
It would cost 5 energy total, none to reach example II once you finish the tunnel
It would give us more fun areas, fun imo, and give an actual use to clockwork tunnels
Haunted would connect like graveyards
Overgrown for aurora isles, that kind of stuff

Swords.

So, I think that the sword abilities need to be tweaked slightly.

If we don't mash the attack key, and apply it more slowly and steadily, we can do single swings, preventing us from moving; like can be done with guns to prevent the need for reloading. [There's not the same damage output of course] Also allows quick shield application.

The ability to prevent a combo from completing. Being hurled into a thorn bush isn't a top priority for me, especially when I get knocked back by a Lumber or similar monster, further tangling me in the health sapping, and often poisoning, hell-hole.

Stunlocked because of energy exchange/menu dropdown

I posted this in general discussion, but perhaps it belongs here instead.

I really wish that the energy exchange, along with every other mouse clickable item on the main screen, were put behind a keyboard shortcut. The amount of times that I have been massively hurt/killed when these menu items come up is too numerous to count.

Dynamic Equipment stats

In my opinion it would be greatly useful if for an example, you'd see your attack speed of your sword increase if you'd wield a Swiftstrike Buckler. To be clear, I'm talking about the Power/speed bar of the weapon here.

An extra, differently coloured bar getting added to the base stats is what I mean. It would give us a much better overview on the true effects your equipment has on your weapons?
