Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

I know the Devs have stated before that once things get rolling (and more populated) they wouldn't mind implementing a new Forum system. Ideas such as phpBB have been suggested, for example, but who knows what they'll use. Perhaps they will implement a common system with all the useful features we need, but perhaps they will make their own.

The Pods

Just an Idea i had, I was wondering that you could use your pod as a mount and battle with it, customize it and such, travel. But was thinking about using it in PVP

Troika/heavy swords upsettingly nerfed?

I keep hearing that the heavy swords are nerfed to the point that the reduction in hits and speed outweigh the benefits of wide reach and knockback. I find this upsetting if true because I already invested a lot of time and money into leveling one of these weapons. I also heard the cutter/striker sword tree is unbelievably good in both damage and versatility in comparison. Is there any way the heavy blades can be made beneficial or unnerfed as severely as they were?

PvP weapon restictions

It's long been an issue that there are serious balance problems in PVP, mostly concerning antigua, and the guns you can make from it, and because I disagree with the way the most recent patch nerfed that series of guns, I'd like to suggest that there be subcatagories in each tier of pvp based on weapon types, with the 5000 crown tier (tier 4?) would remain the only one with no restrictions on weapons types.

Guildhall Arenas and New Decorations

So, I was just recently in the Guildhall of the Derp Knights, and it looked no different from the Six Samurais one (Six Samurais was the guild I was in before). The Guildhalls look so bland, and are so small, and have no purpose except to buy trinkets. In order to make them cooler, and give them an actual purpose. For decorations, maybe allow the Guildmaster(s) to create or select banners? For example: Say I start my own guild, called the 7 Moons.

One Overarching Tier Pass to Rule them All!

I'm a weeeeee bit confused about the per gate tier passes, to my knowledge (and from what I just re-skimmed) nothing about them was mentioned in the sub-town release notes from a week or so ago. The dev who wrote them stated that the reason for the general tiers in the first place is "Limiting advancement into the next tier until players have the right gear and a certain amount of experience in the previous tier is being done to ensure players have a good experience at each major milestone of the game.

Excalibur

Excalibur is a sword with near max speed, and the attack of a lv 10 Leviathan Blade (they do gain attack power as they level up, right?). It gives Ultra damage boost to Undead and Fiend monsters
Materials needed to make it:
10x of all shards
20x Brimstone (change to Dragon Scale)
2x Power cell (add to Plasma Cell count)
3x Cooling cell (increase to 5)
30x Scrap Metal (change to Iron wood)
1x Plasma Cell
5x Swordstone
3x Zee Core (change to Royal Core or Unstable Core)
6x Silver Coil
5x Primal Ore (change toVolcanic Iron)
10x Iron Gear (change to Drake scale)

Energy: A Plea From the Players

This energy system is very aggravating, and broken to say the least.

A few things to consider:

Each dungeon level you progress: 10 energy
Open an energy gate: 3~ energy
Revive: 2-8~ energy
Craft a 1 star item: 10 energy
Craft a 2 star item: 50 energy

You regenerate 100 energy in a day.
It caps at 100 (free).

Zombie Mode

What's happening forum :)

I'd like the OOO to create a ZOMBIE MODE for Spiral Knights!

Instead of zombies (which can be found in the totem depths), Skeletons could be another opertunity :)

Anyway, what if around 50 zombies are respawning, and the more you slay, the more gold you get. You would recieve the loot when your party is dead!

Some people would like guns and bombs to be the only availible weapons for zombie mode, but that's for the OOO to descide.

Debit Support

I've made myself a PayPal account for this and another online MMO, because 1) this game doesn't have anything like cash cards, and 2) I don't feel like walking through thirty minutes of freezing cold for cash cards for the other one. Imagine my frustration when it takes 3 days for PayPal to verify my bank account, and another 8 to get the $50 to buy energy with. So I finally got it today...

...And PayPal tells me it will take another 10 days to complete the payment.
