I made a general guide for new players, add it if you want, or not, the choice is yours.
I try to update if anything game changing comes along.

I have a question to everyone, even to admins, is there a suggestion button on the spiral knights wiki? I have seen lots of new knights/players ask on what other people recommend to get once you start at the game and soon later on when you get the hang of the game. I haven't looked at the wiki so much...and I can't right now, so please answer :).

Elevator tabs
I was doing a mission with a guy who has an elevator pass and he added me to his tab (full-time) What does that mean and how do I use this feature/benefit?

Adding someone to their tab
Adding someone to their tab means that they will pay for all your energy related expenses. There are 2 types of tab adding;
1. Expenses related to elevators.
2. All your energy expenses as long as he is still with you.
Note that these bonuses ends once the group is disbanded.

- At the top of the thread there will be buttons labeled "view" and "edit" (You can only see these when signed in to the account that made the thread e.g. OP)
- Click "edit"
- There you will see a dropdown menu labeled "forum" change the selection to where you want to move the thread
- Uncheck "leave shadow copy" if checked
EDIT: instead of using the report function (the report function may or may not keep repeat offenders at bay)
Dealing with:
- people who use a microphone
mute your system audio (for ease of use, press your "mute" shortcut key if your keyboard has media keys)
- offensive chat
- open chat
- type in /clear and press your enter key
- every time an offensive message comes up press the up arrow key which remembers previous chat commands
- once at /clear press enter again
- repeat for all offensive chat

Finding words on a page
When you want to look for words on a page and you do not want to be bothered by scrolling through the whole page, press CTRL + F then type in the word or phrase you would like to find. the numbers show how many matches there are if there are none the numbers will be shown as 0 of 0..
