Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Instead of an energy system or a cash shop, how about ingame ads?

I wouldn't mind seeing ingame ads or hell, even 10 second video clips before entering a dungeon, if it would remove the energy system.

Thoughts, everybody else?

Pets

i suggest pets in the game.
pets are great for occupying time while waiting for mist energy.
most games have pets why shouldnt spiral knights?
pets dont have to be cuddly puppies or kittens they can be pet dragons and robots.
pets can help you in dungeons from picking up items for you and fighting inflicting that amount of damage needed just to wipe out a boss.
and you would have to take good care of your pet or they will die or stuff like that.
pets would be help full in may ways.

An arcade for each guild

My suggestion is that an arcade for the guild would be lovely.
it would be great to have at least 3 gates ascesible for the guild members only.
the reason we need something like this is because when we need a certain gate for money or for certain materials.

example
/g guild members if you had any red minerals please put them at ruby lion gate.

this can help us get gates we want easily.

and say the basic guild hall is is tier 1 by doin a certain amount of floors you will reach the guild hall at tier 2 and tier 3 then at the very bottom you have the guilds vault.

The Maple Story Business Scheme

I've thought about the energy system. Amongst the bad sides to this, is how free players will only be able to play for about 1 hour/day or even less if using the alchemy system.

This has been discussed to great lengths, and I will not go into it much here. So I would advice to go to another thread if you want to read up on the pros and cons this system has.

New tier of treasure boxes

With the new danger rooms, and the seeming trend towards optional super hard stuff with higher rewards if you do well, I'd like to propose a new, 3rd, type of treasure box. Essentially, they would operate similarly to the red boxes, in that they would not contain potions (or vitapods?), and with double, maybe increased to triple, as red are already double (i think) heat and crowns. The main difference would be that a tier three box would always contain an item, either a material or a gear drop, and never contain a one star item (so no shards).

yeah..... gets kinda boring when theres nothing to do but run around.

is it possible to make some sort of tag/hide and seek function in haven just to pass the time.

i reckon itd be great fun.

Two Danger Room Suggestions

After playing with Danger Rooms for a bit, I have two suggestions for them:
1) Have a choice between Danger Rooms. I'm not saying give you all the room types and let you pick, but maybe a choice between Random Room A and Random Room B. Once you choose one you can lock the other. I find myself often losing 3 Energy because I run into the room and see it's a room I cannot tolerate (Like the one with 80% spikes. Yeah I know there's a strategy to it, but it's still an excessively hard solo in my opinion).

Combat Depth

The game is really, really fun but I kind of find I'm button-mashing most of the time.. Sort of feel there should be more variation than between melee and range. Classes, skills, or a combo system could add a lot to the game and change it from a fun Zelda clone to a really awesome game experience.

The block system could also be made more dynamic. Perhaps a time limit to how long you can block at one go could be added or could replace the damage limit that is there at the moment..

Just my two cents worth.

F12 Should NOT Close the game

At least without warning. I was typing to a friend, went to hit backspace hit F12 by accident (wasn't really paying attention), and the game just closed without warning.

When I went back to reload the game, the game thankfully still had a record of me in my dungeon, but it froze and never loaded!

Quite upset at the moment. At the very least make it Alt+F12, because just F12 is too easy to hit by accident. Add in a "Are you sure you want to quit?" with it for confirmation on a Shortcut.

Autotarget customization

I'd like to have option to turn autotarget on/off for swords, and guns, and separate settings. Normally I want to have them both on, as it lets me get a hit more often. However when there are spikes, like in danger rooms, autotarget with a sword sends me flying into spikes when i don't expect it, but i still want to be able to have my gun autotarget the monsters in the middle of the spikes. On the flip side, there are rare occasions when I don't want my gun to autotarget, as i'm trying to place a charge attack in a specific spot so the burst hits something farther away.
