Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Random quick suggestions collection

Okay, not all of them might be quick to implement, but they're certainly quick to describe:

* For those folks with 4 weapon slots, make them all keybindable individually.
* Jingles should be on music volume level, not sound effects
* Single heart health boni should be adjusted for later depths - same for "make your choice" group switches, which really are a no-brainer at T3+
* Give us an overview map (keybindable) - doesn't need to show unexplored stuff, but does need to show as of yet unexplored paths
* Moorcraft and Emberlight should have basic healthpods (and 4 of them, please!)

Riley's Guild Related Suggestions

Hey all just thought I'd list some stuff I thought would fit well with this game. Some may have been suggested previously.
These will all revolve around the same basic premise.

(1) Guild Dungeon.
Idea:
Now, we're all competing to put the right Minerals in the right gates. My guild, currently has been throing as much Crimsonite into Emerald Queen so we have a T3 arena to gain some decent crowns/heat in.
Then I thought, the Guild Hall is pretty useless right now, so ow about a Guild only dungeon, that the Guild Leader can decide what to make?

Join Party - UI

Perhaps it's just me, but isn't the Join Party interface really unclear about everything? To me it feels that pushing that buttons equals a lottery to whether you'll end up with somebody, and if so, where that will happen.

1. Hp bars - I think if when we are attacking monsters it be cool if we could see there hp, so we know how much more hits we need.

2. Some type of levels for players - its strange how all the players are basically on the same "level" it would be cool if players had levels which could be figured out by how many weapons you leveled up to the max (5 stars)

Variety in arenas

First off I mean the arenas in the gates and not the PVP coliseum.

After playing many arenas maps I've noticed that, for the most part, they are nearly the same every single time. I would like it if arenas were more diverse. There's a couple ways to go about this that I can think of.

1) You could make the existing arenas have different monsters and not just gremlins/trees/gunpuppies all the time.

2) You could create arenas for other colors and not make arenas exclusive to red.

Bosses on Haven and Moorcroft levels, not just Emberlight

We need bosses on Haven and Moorcroft levels too!
You know, the big boss level symbol, the dinosaur....

Whatever happened to those Fire Wolvers Bosses?

I want to fight Fire Wolvers, I want to fight two tortodrones alongside eachother... and I want to be able to do it on rare occasions in Haven and Moorcroft... (It's gonna be a long time till I reach Emberlight lol)

Fixing Gate Tier passes [nevermind bad idea]

SOLUTION: Don't charge energy for the Haven-Moorcroft levels if a knight has Tier 2 clearance.
This way a knight who is happy to have finally collected 15 tokens and 2* gear won't be stopped because they ran out of Mist Energy.
The same would apply to pre-Emberlight content for Tier 3 knights.

Edit: this would be bad.

Help for New Players: A Design Thread

As a relatively new player myself, it took some stumbling around in the game to find out the following;
-Recipes can create unique variants
-Equipment gets buffed after heat level 5

Apart from those two things, the devs seem to want to keep the secrets of minerals, alloys and gate creation behind the curtain.
I also think the tooltips on equipment descriptions are somewhat vague.

Unique Variant system change

Ok. So from what it seems like to me (not sure if this is true, but it seems like it) the way unique variants work is there's a single flat chance to get a unique variant. Then AFTER that it selects what kind of unique variant.

I am on my Google Chrome cr-48 at the moment.

I would love to be able to play this on it. i read Java is supposed to be supported but the login page says "missing plug-in"
