This thread is being put up in suggestions for the express purpose of making jobs faster for everyone who is trying to check in on a forum that is getting plenty of attention and thought. This is not necessarily a suggestions thread in and of itself, but can easily become one should that be required. Here's where I'd like you to come in. If you've seen a topic that follows the rules... I'd like you to post a link here to said topic, so that everyone pouring over the suggestions thread can see it. Remember that this thread, like all the threads in the forums, is intended to be community driven. Please do not be shy about asking.

Rules for this thread in particular:

All threads will be under the scrutiny of me. This means that I will be looking through the thread and it's posts to make sure the rules are followed.
Should the forum become overloaded with requests for whatever purpose, additional featuring or whatever... I will make a blacklist... consider it a list of people whom I shall completely ignore for the duration of this thread's lifespan. The only way out of the blacklist is suggesting a forum and someone else mentioning that said forum actually fits.
My system for said blacklist will be a 2 strike system, I'll be doling out plenty of warnings before the strikes, so I feel only 2 are needed.

Thank you for coming and please, bump this up whenever it breaches page 3 of the suggestions page. So that fellow knights may see this. This posting will undergo a multitude of edits, please be aware that while it may not appear to have extremely new content, it may update under the original post.

Rules for being in "Supported and fleshed out"

The thread has been active for greater than 18 days
In said 18 days, the thread has been provided with more fleshed out content at least 3 times, if not more
The thread has received support from at least 5 people, if not more.

Rules for being in "Threads to watch"

Thread is spreading like wildfire (page count's going up within 2 days of posting)
Supporters are rising in number
It remains within page 1 of suggestions (with little wavering) for longer than 2 days

Rules for being in DNS:

Basically... the public in general in forums has given the idea a resounding "no".
The topic has already been tackled, in which case I will do my best to necro a link out from the depths of these forums

I don't feel this requires further explanation, basically one or the other has happened.

Rules for General Ideas:

Should a thread be seen in suggestions and actually have the support of at least 5 people, it will be listed in this list. I will attempt to seek out a thread that defines the argument in a basic, yet well-defined format.

Rules for has come to pass:

In some way, shape or fashion the thread has been looked at and addressed through dev's actions... threads of similar nature require alternatives to that which has been listed in order to be listed once more

Perhaps you could include another list that would be like... a "Do Not Suggest (DNS)" list? Not sure if it would take away from the original purpose of the thread, but stuff that pops up all the time and the community/devs have said it's a bad idea could be listed too.

Like...Healing via Pets or any Weapons, or any other means besides capsules/pads/heart drops; Energy system to be removed from the game, etc.

Just a suggestion, I don't know if you want to add it in since I guess it might take away from the thread, but since this looks like an overall "Suggestions" thread, it seemed to work with the theme.

EDIT: In the general list, I have a few ideas to put there..so that people know that these things are widely-suggested:

5* Spur-lines,
Buff shadowsun damage bonus to medium,
Change Argent Peacemaker/Sentenza to pure damage, as well as RSS,
Lockdown Balancing (Nothing specific here, many people complain about its unbalanced aspects and attempt to fix it; many are different, but it's a popular suggestion nonetheless),
Pets (Widely suggested...not that it's a great idea),

I think that's all I can think of at the moment..might think of something else later. For specific "threads to watch" section threads, I have one:

Snarbolax Gun; a pure-piercing Antigua-line after other Antigua-lines are made pure damage.

Not sure if you'll really get the "good ideas" following that method or mostly just the "most 'awesome' sounding topics", but an overview of some sort has been long due in any case, so good job! :3

The thread I want to suggest ist actually in "bug reports"... but I guess the unspoken suggestion which is "fix those bugs!" should be enough for it to qualify?

Edit: I'll be playing with the OP a lot, I'll add that all threads proposed will undergo review and scrutiny. I may eventually be asking for mini-mods should this thread get too big.

@Ulfana: You mean a thread on Party-teams of friends? There's a real recent one on it, and I think Chris had one on it. I can't find Chris' via the search button (Not sure why), and the recent one isn't very in-depth.

The whole reason for my rules being the way they are is because maintaining an active thread for longer than 18 days takes effort on all parts by the community. This means the community at-large, (or at least 5 people more often than not) is (are) willing to contribute to the suggestion and therefore would also enjoy seeing it be implemented.
Concerning links that are made over threads that are relatively new but popular to start with, currently the only opening I have for them is the general ideas area... Like I said the OP will be getting multiple revamps but at the moment I have to say I'm done for a bit making stuff happen on it. (gimme a day or two.)

I'll develop an additional category, please have some patience with this undertaking. Adjustments are always required in threads like this. So, I'll be making them as we go along. I mentioned my old thread because it is, in fact, a 'LD balancing' thread, although it wouldn't quite represent the majority of threads of that same subject, since I proposed an entire revamp on Lockdown, while most of them are just ordinary opinions.
That's why I don't think it would fit under 'DNS' (modesty aside).

I'm against adding power to normal weapons. It's a mathmatecal tradeoff, leave it as it is.
It was a mathematical tradeoff before arsenal stations, when you could go into two construx floors then get a wolver den then a dstrux zone, when your special types caused as much harm as good (50% here, 50% there: tradeoff); it was a tradeoff then, balancin' it out, so them being weaker was accepted, since it kept them consistent.
But with arsenal stations, you just change weapons every floor and never have any dire need for normal, since floors rarely have a wide mix (5% strong, 95% weak; no point having normal, thusly no tradeoff). Now them being weaker is basically just a harmful, pointless nerf that keeps them below the paygrade; buffing them wouldn't make them OP, it would just make them equal, at best, in a very different way.

I never thought there was

I never thought there was ever a need for normal, save for PVP. I think effective damage on a slpit normal/special damage sword is equal to a very high bonus, and vice-versa for the penalty. Making normal more effective would change that to a small bonus for using the right sword, and a larger weakness for using the wrong one.

I thought I'd suggest two things:
- I think your title should be something clearer, so people can know what this is exactly about with only a glance. I dunno, maybe something like "All suggestions in a nutshell", whatever, just make it a bit clearer.
- You should lower your standards a bit; there are some great suggestions out there that haven't had much attention:

Also, I much prefer to bump and promote this thread, because it not only promotes a LOT of other people's work, but it gets mine and some major issues that the community feels is important. So thanks for the constant updates and devotion Skold. I also thank each and every one of you who come here to find out about the issues and some fun things to support/talk about/know.
